I hate to say I didn't catch he's coworkers name but Oscar and him both (older gentleman) were very eager to break down the problems with the car in depth in a way that made sense. Professionalism is everything and they've got it. Constantly reached out with in depth updates and explanations to the issues occurring with the car and additionally explain why those things happen in the first place rather than just tell you the problem and quote you. They sent very clear videos and imagery of the inspection on my vehicle and another one with a diagnosis and breakdown of the failing part and more! Since I was a new customer, the owner did a video inspection on my truck and uploaded it to YouTube. He covered all the major components under the vehicle, pointing out important components showing a thorough understanding of his subject. As one of the services he was performing had to do with an oil leak, at the conclusion of the work, he powerwashed the underside of the vehicle so future leaks can be identified. After selling our Truck shortly after Oscar came and tuned it up, My husband's work called him last minute to commute all the way to Victorville just as the temperature is climbing into triple digits. I had a not so good experience with Grease Monkey Mobile Mechanic. I had messaged the company, spoke with Oscar and set up am appointment for Monday 10/27/19 for after his first call. I had given him my address prior to that. I live in Descanso. We exchanged numbers and he said he would let me know when he is on his way Monday. Cool, sounds good. Monday comes and goes and no word from Oscar. No communication at all. Today- 10/31/19, I hit him up asking what happened you totally stood me up? His response was a generic apology and that if I still need service he can try to get to me next week. My simple response was "nope". Was in search of an auto shop that was affordable. Had to get our brakes and rotors replaced. They were in really bad shape. Stumbled upon Oscar's service and requested for a quote and some info. His response time was very quick and provided me the info I needed. His rates were very reasonable (parts and labor). I immediately booked him. The best part was he his mobile and was able to work on our car at our residence. We had the option of buying the parts or having him purchase them for us. He did such an AWESOME job! It was literally like bringing our vehicle to the auto shop but you were actually able to converse and interact with the mechanic. His level of experience was excellent. Weeks after we had our car worked on we noticed a slight issue with a squeaky sound coming from the front brakes. Minor issue for the brand of brakes we chose was probably a bad batch. Informed Oscar of this and he got on it right away. He went the EXTRA MILE to test everything out, gave us options to either replace the brakes with new ones (warranty was included) or upgrade to better brand. I decided to go with same brand and just have them replaced. But Oscar went ahead and upgraded them to the higher brand for better quality and life of the parts.
