Was referred to this auto shop by a friend. everyone's nice and customer service is good so maybe I'm an unlucky case. The first time I came in I had a coolant leak and spark plug problem With engine overheating. so I took it in to get a diagnostic. the spark plugs were done correctly but the mechanic decided to make a makeshift clamp to fuse the coolant leak..... seemed confident that it was going to fix the problem. Still was leaking coolant And overheating. Took it back because the engine was overheating still and I was still losing coolant. Told me that I needed a whole new radiator and that was the problem. so after spending 1300 dollars on a new radiator The problem kept persisting. after this second job, I had engine plugs that weren't re connected after the job and my car was losing power on the freeway...... took at back to have them plug it back in. my engine cover was also left in the shop And not put back on. The mechanic told me that he did the work on it but when I complained about doing a half job and not properly completing the job he said a different mechanic was the one who didn't do it right. No biggie. they plugged it back and it worked fine. month or two go by, Still leaking coolant and overheating. took it to the dealership because I was over going back and forth with this shop. Dealership tells me the fan right in front of the radiator had been melted off and my car had been overheating which led to serious engine damage and a head gasket repair. I can no longer drive this car. After I spent almost 2k dollars at this repair shop. only 109k miles on it. I genuinely believe this mechanic shop misdiagnosed my car and did a half ass job on my vehicle. Extremely sad because everyone seemed friendly and willing. if you want to have someone take pride in your vehicle and find the root of the issue do not take it here. Unlucky .... read more

Honest service! Great customer service communications! For us, it's ideal because it's walking distance from home and work. So if we need to drop off our vehicle, it's no problem for us to walk. All our services requested were completed in a timely manner. I'm not a car person, so I am not sure what repairs should cost. We just pay whatever they charge. I think it as we are paying for their knowledge that we don't have. All our vehicles that have been brought to Rose have came back to us in better condition. read more

As always, Perish, and now his son, take excellent care of my 1998 Ford Mustang GT. It has over 3K miles (yes, that's over 300,000) and Perrish has been taking care of my Mustang since the warranty ran out. A lot of us were worried when Perish started talking about retirement, but not to worry, his son has been working alongside of Perish and will take over the auto repairs when that happens. I was working around the area and found them through Yelp and saw some good and above average reviews and decided to give them a try. I brought in a truck that had an issue with the turn signals not lighting up. I had already replaced the fuses, bulbs , the switch and all except for the flasher relay. A little bit over an hour it was done inspecting, troubleshooting, and part installed. I was satisfied with the work done and the customer service and staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. Can't recommend Rose Automotive enough. Although today was our first and so far only experience with this shop, it was enough to know we were in excellent hands. We had a hose bust as we were driving. My husband is fairly mechanically inclined and handles most of the routine maintenance on all of our vehicles, but he was a little dubious that he could fix this busted hose without further issue. We were able to have to have our car towed directly to the shop after talking with Parrish by phone and sending him a quick photo of the part(s). Our car was fixed right up within 3 hours and we were charged a fair price for the parts and labor. All the other shops we called wouldn't be able to look at the car for several days to a week. I was in desperate need of a engine rebuild of a performance vehicle, a 1999 Ford f150 lightning. 5.4 supercharged.. I went to several different shops including JBA speedshop. Rose automotive was the better place to go to. Not only were their prices better and their approach was exactly what I wanted. JBA was going to charge me $19,000 for unneeded rebuild and overpriced parts. Parish and his crew was able to get the job done for significantly less than half of what JBA was charging me. I bought the things I wanted and parish put then in! One thing that did led me to take my vehicle to his shop was that he had several performance vehicles being worked on lifts while I drove by it. 1 year later and my truck is still running fantastic. I have a truck that's "Older than Dirt" I have been using Rose Automotive Repair for several years. I will say this about Parrish.....he is as honest as the day is long! I will also say this you take your vehicle there and you can rest assured they will do the job right, and they will not over charge you. And they stand behind their work. They are very reasonable about their prices also they will bend over backwards to work with their customers. If Parrish says you need a water pump you need a water pump. He will not sell you a water pump when you only need a hose clamp! One other thing if you ask them a question they give you an honest answer. I feel confident that Parrish and his guys are totally trustworthy and won't try to find issues that aren't there. I brought my car in almost a year ago with a squealy belt and he simply tightened it for free and said let me know if that doesn't work, but the belt looks fine. (It was and remains fine). I was referred to him by some friends who have also found him trustworthy and fair. I am so grateful for the work they just did on my 2010 Hyundai - it wasn't cheap but I believe their prices were fair and this old girl was due for some work to keep in tip top shape at 132k. I also believe Parrish always will find ways to reduce labor costs - for example, this time he was going to be right where the timing belt was to replace the water pump so it would be almost zero added labor to replace it while he was in there. I love my cars. I drive them forever and take care of them better than most people treat their kids. It's kind of an obsession. I spend time doing the maintenance and tinkering at home and I take a lot of care when I do it. So I get really uneasy when I take my car to a shop to be worked on because I'm afraid they won't be as careful with it as I am. That uneasy feeling disappeared as soon as the owner and mechanic came out to take a look at what I had and what I wanted done. were very knowledgable about my car, which is rare because it's 50 years old. And surprising because they had a ton of Chevy's and something that looked like a VW powered Honda already being worked on (I drive a Ford). The price they gave me was great and the work was done quickly and as promised. And by great, I mean the price was a third of the place down the street that wanted to keep my car for up to a month to do the same job. When my truck is no longer being serviced by the factory, I'll be taking it to Rose for repairs too. What more can you ask for? read more

I had my old 66 Ford pickup towed to Rose automotive to repair after I had already started removing parts to make repairs myself. I fell ill and was not able to continue the work myself. Parrish provided me with constant updates with where he was with the repairs and additional repairs and parts needed. After all said and done this repair was way beyond my capability I learned since a lot of troubleshooting of the fuel injection and computer system was needed.
