While providing a constant beat to drive to (and practice freestyle rapping) is was irritating as hell! I took it to another shop and they told me the tie-rods (?) were bad...had them replaced... WHUMP WHUMP! Went back and had new struts put on... WHUMP WHUMP! DAYUM! Finally something kicked in and I decided to find a local reputable company and I really hit the jackpot with Darrell's. Here's why: 1) I found them online and they had great reviews. We all know the power of a good review from happy customers! 2) After I performed my freestyle rap of what was wrong with the car, the owner Terry said "Okay, let's go drive it." What?!? I didn't realize that the other place never drove my car!! I was thrilled! 3) The diagnosis and suggested repair conversations were amazing! It was like a medical diagnosis from a really compassionate doctor. Even with the unexpected additional service I needed to get my car in tip-top shape, never once did I feel like I was being lied to or taken advantage of. Rented a car and came back to Darrell's at 8am and explained my symptoms. They knew exactly what it was likely to be (a suspension problem). I asked if it could be fixed on Friday so I could drive home. They did! And washed and detailed the car so when I picked it up Friday at 2:30 we could hit the road home confidently. First they said they didn't know, then they said they had to rebuild the transmission. We paid over four grand to have them rebuild it, and then the issue kept happening. We took it back and they said it's the spark plugs now. Paid 700$ to have them fix that, and the issue is still happening. at this point I am not comfortable bringing it to them again. I don't know if they've been lying to me, not fixing what they said they were fixing, or just incompetent, but I will not be going back to waste more money on their "services". *EDIT* We went and got a second and third opinions from other mechanics, they all said the issue with my car is what AAMCO "fixed", and AAMCO is still trying to claim there's another different issue we have to pay for. Absolutely ridiculous that they keep lying to us and trying to steal more money from us. Please do not waste your time and money going here. The disrespect is insane.

We went with a complete transmission rebuild to the tune of approx $4,500. Unfortunately after the repair, the transmission was still slipping so we took it back. Reliable accepted our claim with no questions asked and did more repair work. We had it in and out of their shop approximately 6 times before the Buick was finally fixed. They had to do a lot of extra work (torque converter, computer programming updates etcs) but they kept at it. A normal repair shop might have threw up their hands and given up, but Reliable kept its word and we finally got the repair we paid for.
