Great Show! Cirque Eloize ID July 22, 2017
    Jennifer M.

Having been to The Fox Theater MANY times for several Cirque shows, comedians and live music, I can without hesitation say that the theater itself is not huge, the seats are very comfortable, the events are very organized, the concessions are quick to get to and it's always set at a comfortable temperature. We always opt for the ground level seating. They are very spacious with TONS of leg room. You don't have to keep standing up every time someone wants to get through. Great Place! Great Shows!

We were here last night to watch Jo Koy perform. This was my first time at this venue and I was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and the seats were comfortable. There were plenty of ushers showing everyone where their seats were. I was a little concerned when we got our tickets because the only tickets left were on the 3rd level and I thought I wouldn't be able to see the stage but it was just fine. All in all, it was a medium sized venue with an intimate feeling to it.

Mary J.... She did great. I know she saw me!! Lol

Nice venue. I found it to be too dark inside. I came to see a Concert. Mary J has a very diverse fan base. The majority of the attendees were women. And wow!! They were looking good!

Watched Criss Angels's Supernaturalists here. Very organized event. Showed my home-printed tickets to the usher at the entrance. We were shown our seats right away.

If I had to best describe the Tree House Arcade, I'd sum it up as - when Dave n' Busters meets…read moreChuck E. Cheese. Because it's an arcade about the size of the latter (perhaps smaller) with vibes that appeal to Gen-X gamers. Also, they don't feature a food menu...unless the candy behind the ticket station counts. Now, if you're into the classics the aforementioned generation of kids enjoyed back in the day, we've got greats like Pac-Man, Pac-Woman, Galaga, Space Invaders, and more! Not to mention my all time favorite kinesthetic game: SKEE-BALL!! They even have an updated 3D version of Space Invaders; though, I'd highly recommend anyone with epilepsy to skip this one. So, for those not in the know, everything payment wise is digital for the most part. You can purchase your play pass cards at any of the kiosks near the entrance. The tickets you earn from each game are also digital. I mention this because it's a concept wifey nearly missed at first (we're among the generation accustomed to receiving paper tickets from the slot). My most minor complaint about this place, however, is the pricing of the games. Interval wise, they seem almost random. Like, why couldn't they at least round everything off to the nearest dollar? Just make games range from $1.00, $1.50, $2.00, etc. Instead, you get all the old school games for 75 cents. Skee-Ball was a buck 25 for some reason. And some games seemed a bit steep for what they were offering. Bowling was $2.50, though I must admit, it's quite an addicting game. Yeah, overall...not a bad way to kill some time if you're waiting on a rez, event, or whatever. But I agree with others when they said this arcade is quite pricey. I realize inflation's a thing but GEEZ! They have different package levels to choose from when selecting your play pass. But you'd be surprised how quickly one can burn through $50 worth of games. Tree House Arcade is worth 4 games of Galaga out of 5.

This couldn't have been a worse experience! Everything was filthy, sticky, slimy, and out of order…read more They let the kids run absolutely wild. Never again.

Granted I sat much closer to center for John Oliver rather than the free tickets for charity at the Alice Cooper concert. Even so they don't have a lot of screens for people far away or at weird angles to see clearly. The ushers were moderately helpful in directing us the appropriate seats. I wish the staff were more attentive at monitoring the audience. The entire time for the Alice Cooper concert we had a very annoying guy standing, whooping and hollering incessantly. Thankfully he wasn't directly in our line of sight but hearing his added noise was not appreciated. He was too far away for us to yell "sit down". As it's located in a casino there are other things you can do afterwards to hang around. The con is you still have to walk through the smoky atmosphere. Aside from that it's a decent venue for live performances if you can snag a closer seat. It doesn't feel too overwhelming like an arena at 4,000 person max capacity.

They really went all out and you can feel the passion in every single performance. The light work was very blinding, that's the only thing I really have to complain about. At certain times the lights would glare at you and literally blind you, so I would try to look at the screen to watch the performance but the lighting for the tv screens were absolutely terrible. You really need to A. invest in better screens or B. make sure before the show goes on that you can actually see the performance on the screens. It was too dark half the time or blurry. if you relied on the screen to watch the show you're shit out of luck.

Foxwoods Tacos & Tequila Festival - 06-23-2026…read more Wanted to write a review - Overall, the event had good atmosphere with a fun crowd engagement, good music, and a good variety of drink options. The food was also a highlight, especially the chicken tacos, Cubano, and beef rice bowl. The main drawback was the long wait for food, which took nearly an hour and a half due to limited food stations and line management issues. For future events, adding multiple food locations throughout the venue and starting later in the afternoon or early evening would improve the experience.

I want to say this because I don't see or hear anyone else doing it. I have never met or seen a more dedicated group of people working so hard to save an organization. I am so impressed with each person I have met there. They give so much to keep what may be the best kept secret in Norwich going! I think you should check them out! I attended a movie night recently and they were showing the movie recently released about the life of Steven Hawking. The theater was surprisingly comfortable and the quality of the viewing and sound were superb. Okay, the seats were not like a movie theater. But you could even buy popcorn. And the most surprising thing of all is that not one of these people gets paid to do what they do. And when I went to a meeting with some friends tonight at the gallery I got a preview of a fabulous show the volunteers were mounting for the art faculty of the local community college. If you enjoy viewing fine art, you do not want to miss this show! Since I first moved into Norwich I was told that downtown was to be avoided. But I have been there and eaten wonderful foods and walked all over and been in some fabulous small shops and not a single person ever threatened to mug me. No one even came near. I think it is time to dispense with a rumor that causes more suffering than anything else in Norwich. Check out downtown for yourself and don't miss the NAC's doings!
