Didn't know you had to make an appointment for a certain barber, first time I walked in, and Christy was the barber, she outstanding, this time I walked in I was given to a barber that seems to not be interested in the customers hair and what they want, she assumed that she knew what she was doing due to 20 years of hair cutting...now I know better instead of walking into a turkey shoot out, I'm calling to ask for that barber that did it right, and you don't have to tell every different barber how you want haircut, just having the same barber makes it easier... read more

I have just got to tell you about my Stylist Lauren Rice. My first ever Great Clips haircut was with Laren when she worked at Great Clips in Forest Hill, Maryland. I would call and find out what days and times Lauren was working and come in so only she could style my hair. She does a "Great Clip" every time. When Lauren moved to the Great Clips in Aberdeen, I of course followed her there. It is a bit of a drive to Aberdeen for me, but Laurn is worth it. read more

Lauren is my favorite stylist. I always get the cut I request. All of the girls there are super friendly.

Even though they are currently open for business, what is not professional is the fact that they do not offer restrooms to their customers. So if a customer is already waiting 30 min plus for an appointment they cannot relieve themselves and would have to suffer even longer. Unsatisfactory. read more

I saw Jackie at this location and asked for a 2 in trim and she took over 7 inches off my hair. Then when I expressed to her that it was way too short, she kicked me out of the salon. Then owner Tracey took no responsibility for her staff and dismissed my feelings and hung up on me. I'd rather my 2 yr old cut my hair then ever go back to this salon again. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever! read more

First I'll start with the positives. Place is clean, I love that they have an area for children to play. The wait time has never been long (take that for what you will). Most of the staff is friendly. Now on to the not so good. I've taken my kids there a few times. Enough to develop a good opinion. The place is hit or miss. However, the last time we went the cut was so bad on one of my kids that I had to ask for it to be fixed. They "fixed" it and then just cleaned my son off and got him down, didn't ask for my opinion on it or to see if I was satisfied (I was juggling between two kids having their hair cut at once and keeping an eye on the third that was playing with toys). Even after the "attempt" to fix it, it was still terrible. After paying (killed me to pay for that hair cut and tip but I'm not a huge jerk), we immediately left and went to an actual barber shop and had it fixed. read more
