I came in and each chair was filled that had a barber... no barriers seen in-between. Then literally 10 chairs with little to none spacing were filled... standing room only. I explained I'm handicapped and can't do standing room... she said they'd call or text me for me appointments. Did not receive one call or text! And she also told me there was a person ahead of me for my own appointment but he had not got there and she did not know when I'd be seen (this was AT my 1230 pm signed appointment). I was told the area filled right after I called... HELLO I CALLED AS I PULLED IN RIGHT INFRONT OF YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. More people went in and stood as I went out. We left. Poor covid protocols with so many close and were flat out lied to. Also... was never called or texted for us to come in. However... received an automated "thank you for coming to sport clips" text so I know they had my number.

When I explained that it is illegal to charge any type of fee on debit card transactions, the GM argued with me and tried to tell me it's not a credit card processing fee. Ironically, it just happens to be 3%! As a client, it is not my responsibility to pay your credit fee/overhead fee. That is your cost of doing business! Also, I believe you take that deduction as a business expense on your taxes. Most importantly, in all US states, it is illegal for merchants to charge a fee for using a debit card, including surcharges. This is because the Durbin Amendment prohibits debit card surcharges. While some states have laws restricting or prohibiting credit card surcharges, debit cards are specifically exempt, meaning businesses cannot add fees for using them. In this tough economy, I'm surprised a business would attempt a money grab for services that are discretionary in nature, and typically, only received as the budget allows.

Not once has that salon reached out to me about returning! I don't think I can recommend them ever again but this new salon definitely cares about its clients. They greet you immediately when you come in and check you in. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my stylist to come get me and get started. They have handicap parking, and accessibility.
