Worst experience getting a hair cut in my life.The woman who cut my hair was curt and surly also pre occupied with phone calls on her personal phone.The haircut was marginal at best.The woman who cut my hair is white and wore glasses.My visit was December 12th about 4:30 I'm 77 years old and am not used to being treated in this manner. read more

We checked my mom in online, she was #1 on the waitlist, but each stylist took the male customers first (one of them walked in the door first since my mom uses a walker and moves slowly.) The other one walked in after us but they still cut him first. Both stylists seemed to take their time, keeping an eye on the other one, so they wouldn't be done first. Each of them didn't want to be the one who had to cut my moms hair. Not sure we'll be back to this location. read more

My haircut and wait time were fine. The customer service at checkout was hideous. The same stylist who cut my hair handled the checkout , and was not happy with the tip I was going to give her, grumbling outloud how she gave me a beautiful haircut and this was all the tip she was getting, and cursing. I explained I didn't have more small bills and asked if she could give me change. I then gave her a more generous tip, but definitely felt bullied into it. Her rude behavior insures that I will not return to this location. read more

I'm typically not the type to leave a yelp review; however, after my experience I have to share. My hair was original down to mid back (a good bit past my chest), I asked for some layers, tapered U/V shape cut, and my dead ends to be trimmed off. Knowing full well I was way past due for a trim I said I'm okay with a good bit of length off and motioned about maybe two or three inches with my fingers. As time progressed, the lady seemed like she was frantically trying to even out the layers and just kept cutting and cutting. I could tell she knew how bad it was too she was constantly asking for affirmation, but I didn't have to courage to tell her to stop nor how horrible it was. I went home and cried for days. Anyways, what can you do now? All I know I am definitely not going back there to try to fix it. read more

Took my 9 year old in for a hair cut and came out with this botch job. She's been growing her hair out for the last couple years so we were only wanting a trim- clean up the dead ends and take no more than an inch or so off the length and put in some face framing layers. The guy combed out a chunk of hair and asked "is this good?" and proceeded to cut around her head using that first cut as a guide. As you can see he proceeded to cut shorter as he moved to the front of her head. He did touch the rest of her hair, there are no layers in the front and about a 4 inch difference from what he took off the front from where he started. You can see from the picture how uneven it is. I don't get how someone can work in a salon that CLEARLY has no hair cutting experience. How did he even pass the state boards- if he even has a license. Then, before all of this even started... I took both of my daughters in for haircuts 2 days prior. One of the girls there insisted that she check my younger daughter (9 year old) for lice, which had never happened when we've gone there (or anywhere) but I was fine with it. She claimed to have found some eggs in my daughter's hair so she was not able to do the haircut. Again, that was fine. If she truly did have lice I for sure didn't want her spreading it around! I purchased 2 of the lice elimination kits and we left the salon after my 11 year old was finished with her haircut. We never did see more than 1-2 "eggs" after we left Great Clips and after using the treatment she was clean. But we were at our doctor after all of this happened. Our pediatrician checked my daughter's hair, the lice was gone (thankfully) but our doctor said SHE DIDN'T HAVE LICE TO BEGIN WITH. She does have a little bit of dry scalp, BUT NOT LICE. So thank you Great Clips, for wasting our money to purchase a lice elimination kit when there was no lice and thank you to Robert who completely screwed up my daughter's hair. You need to hire people that are actually trained in cutting hair who know how to do their job and who know the difference between dandruff and lice. We will never be back to this or any other Great Clips location. read more

Do not go. November 17th at 6:10 p.m.. Because I had a little trouble getting here, the hair dresser (older lady) proceeded to admonish me on how it was unfair to others to be in the computer longer than 15 minutes. As an individual, I do not expect this. As a POC, and a minirity I'm apalled. I do not come to the hair dresser to be schooled in etiquette. I expect to be treated fairly. If she needed to remove me from the computer, that's fine. Telling me it was unfair tells me she did not want my business. My English was fine. I offered to come back another time. I also apologized. She kept going on. At which point I left. I do not want to have my hair cut where I am seen as an intrusion and not a source of the hair stylists livelihood. I've never been so chastized in front of other customers like this in my life. Just this Great Clips. I've always had good experiences at other Great Clips. P.s. only 4 people on the waiting list and only 1 customer (father+son) waiting. read more
