When you first come in if you're brand new, they'll sit with you and have a conversation about what it is that you want to do but also suggest things or give input on if the style or color won't be flattering for your skin tone and or facial structure. I love the care that they take with each individual person. It definitely is a small town feel but with a warm hospitality that you want, unlike what you find in some large and/or commercial hair salons. There are multiple stylist's here but I have been going to see Taylor for over seven years now. She always does an amazing job on my hair and is always willing to listen to what I want to do but always guides me in the right direction if it's not gonna be the most flattering. This go round, I wanted to do purple highlights in my hair but I didn't want it to be over the top and also age-appropriate. I had sent her a few photos that I had found on Pinterest prior to and what I love about Taylor is that she puts the work in before hand. She does her research to see how the styling is done and researches the color in the hair. Then when I come in, we have a great conversation around what is appropriate and what we might need to change so that we don't have to do a whole lot to achieve the same desired effect! That's making it cost-effective. I'm very appreciative of her and will continue to go back time and time again.

The atmosphere is so relaxing, coming to the salon has become part of my self care relaxing routine. I bring a book with me to read while I'm sitting at the color bar, there is relaxing background music playing in the salon. They have cold drinks, coffee, and snacks for their guests and they are always very attentive making sure you have what you need while you wait. They treat their clients like family. I schedule my appointments ahead of time for the entire year, but if you call or go online you can schedule an appointment with them. Two days prior to your appointment you get a reminder text, you can confirm or schedule via the link sent to you.
