I thought I had found a consistent stylist after several visits. Then in November, she had a bad day. My trim was choppy and uneven. I went back the next day and asked her to fix it, she took way too much off and it looked terrible. I was very upset and went back a few days later and used a different stylist to hopefully, finally, get my hair cut fixed. I ended up with an even shorter, uneven cut. I have been in the process of trying to let it grow out enough to have it evened out but am scared to have anyone touch it. Why is it so hard to get someone to do a consistent job??!! There was no wait, just walked in and asked for a trim of a couple of inches. No problem until the haircut was almost over and an unsolicited layer was added for artistic "flair" and this layer falls out of the clip when I pull my hair back. Also asked for my eyebrows to be trimmed so the stylist pulled out a comb and scissors then cut just a couple on each side, they all need to be trimmed not just pick and choose which ones you think are too long. We've been to a few gear clips over the years and most have been grungy and most staff seemed over worked and tired/cranky after working long shifts due to possible understaffing. Which for my husband and myself is ok, but my oldest kiddo kept getting bad vibes at other locations, and got a few bad cuts we had to get fixed. We tried this one out and it's much nicer than other locations we've been too and staff has been outstanding! I went in for a haircut and was chastised by the stylist for coloring my hair. This was my first haircut since last March and we agreed that 3-4 inches needed to be taken off- however, she took off about 6. My hair went from being at my lower back to above my shoulders. I have very wavy hair and also asked her to layer it and she just used thinning shears on the ends, while arguing with me in the process. I called a few hours later and explained the situation,why I was not happy,and no one seemed to care to get really good haircuts here ,but I will never be back.
