Seriously messed up my hair. I asked for layers, and the lady made me look like an egg. I showed her exactly how short I wanted my layers to be, but she cut them super short. So it looks like a have a shorter wig on top of my hair. Also was really put off by the fact that when I was paying she asked "do we charge more for long hair?" Obviously not, the sign says the prices. I tipped my change (~35%) cause she was really not letting go of my 20 and stalling to give me change, so I just told her to keep it. Here's a tip! If a customer isn't engaging in the conversation, stop talking to them. It's irritating. I won't be coming back. read more

They are reasonably priced and get the job done, I suppose. I took my 6 year old son here for a haircut as I had a coupon for a $7.99 cut. Definitely more reasonable than other locations! Yet, I can see why it was so reasonable. I requested a "3" on the sides and to leave about an inch on the top. Practically nothing was left on the top and my son left with barely any hair. When a person is hesitant to even bring in her son since his longer hair is so beautiful(yes, Mommy Goggles), it stinks to see it all flutter to the ground and there isn't any way to replace it. I took my son for a hair cut and told them to do exactly what he had last time. I figured the previous stylist made notes. Apparently the notes were either not complete or the new stylist didn't understand them because the hair cut was NOT like it was before. My son was upset. I did not want to leave a tip and used my credit card to pay, after I get my receipt I see there is a 3.00 tip for Maria Lourdes which I did not do. I tell her she tipped herself and I was not tipping her. Another lady came up and tried to say I wasn't charged 3 dollars more but I point out the TOTAL that said it was 3 dollars more than the hair cut price. She then goes to give me back the 3 dollars in cash but holds it and tries explaining what happened and I told her I don't care I want my 3 dollars back and she still won't hand it over. I must say, this was a delightful experience. I was desperate for a hair trim and Sarah was my stylist. The salon is so clean it looks brand new.....much appreciated. A women's cut is only $14.00. I didn't have her shampoo or blow dry as I had no time. My cut is exactly what I asked for. My hair was too heavy and I am super cautious about who I allow to thin it or to texturize it. We have been coming here for years, especially to get haircuts for the kids and the price (7.99 with coupon) is great, but after today, we will not be back. It is like entering a miserable environment where you as a customer are annoying to the unsmiling people paid to be there. My nine year old, the customer today, was almost in tears due to the roughness and meanness of the stylist. My daughter was quizzed by the woman about when she had last been swimming even though I had shelled out extra for a shampoo to make the combing easier! read more

This salon is not great in terms of customer service. Unlike every other salon, including other great clips, This one will not allow you to just walk in if they have no customers or even leave your name and wait. you have to check in online. So one time I arrived 30 minutes before closing and wanted to walk in and they said I have to check it online. So I go to my car and I check in online but I get a message that says you can't check in online when there's only 30 minutes left until close. And they wouldn't let me get a haircut even though they had time! It was like a comedy of errors. The salon owner has put up a sign that says the CDC requires online check-in which is of course not true. So today I did my online check in and it showed a zero a time and I have now arrived and there's no one here. The lights are on but the door is locked and there's no sign and I am here during business hours. How do they survive?Definitely no longer getting my business. read more

I would be careful of who your stylist is! I had a horrible experience at this salon. Right from the get go it was off to a poor start when the woman was arguing with me as to how I wanted my hair cut. It was nothing complicated and actually quite popular. After sitting in the chair being talked to talk like I knew nothing she proceeded to was my hair in ICE cold water and pull my hair to the point that I had tears in my eyes. Just when I thought we had come into agreement as to how I wanted my hair trimmed I opened my eyes to see a full two inches off of my head! Xochitl gave us the worst service I have ever received in my whole life. First I get there at 8pm and the doors are locked. When the stylist opens the door she runs back to the desk without saying hi welcome to great clips. I asked her if they are still open and she says yes but the other stylist left and locked me in..instead of apologizing for the inconvenience customers don't need to hear her complaining about another coworker. She then asks if I checked in online and I said no. She asks for my number assuming that I am already an existing customer when I am not. Only my son is registered. She asks for my full name and I tell her she is putting the wrong last name and she says its ok don't worry about it and leaves it with the wrong last name.Then why ask me for my name if your gonna put whatever you want. Are u that lazy to fix it? The lobby was completely empty.Then while she is cutting my son's hair a customer walks in and again doesn't say hi just yells did you check online? When the customer said yes she yells from the chair telling me now I have to wait until she takes care of him first. She should have explained it differently by saying online check- ins are priority and it will be my choice if i decide to wait. I told her exactly how I wanted her to cut my son's hair.Instead she leaves the right side trimmed way shorter than the left side. His bangs in front were crooked and one of the sides close to his forehead was cut way too high on one side. And when I showed her how uneven it was on all sides she argues with me by saying I told her that this is how I wanted it.She looks at his hair again then changes her story by saying it looks like he combs his hair sideways that's why she cut it like that when I specifically told her in the beginning he spikes it up in the front only. She then told me she would try to fix it by cutting the other side higher to even it out but i said no just leave it. Don't cut anymore otherwise its gonna look like a Mohawk. I told her I did not like my sons haircut and that I was not going to cut my hair after all and asked to speak to her manager nicely. She said there was no one else I can talk to because she is the manager. I then asked to speak to someone above her. She looked up her contacts and wrote down Marilu's name and phone number. I asked her if she can call Marilu now so I can speak to her and Xochitl said no Im not going to call if you want to talk to her you call her. So I did call Marilu but no one answered and I did leave a voice mail with my name and number for her to call me back. I asked Xochitl if she was going to give me a receipt.
