So I was in a rush and in desparate need of a haircut!!!!! Being that I was in a rush I looked at my gps for the nearest location by my house and I stumbled upon Great Clips! I was a bit skeptical at first being that I had never been to a Great Cli ps. The minute I walked in I was greeted very politely and felt right at home. Service was great and fast not to mention how awesome the staff was. The young woman that cut my hair was none other then Alissa!!!! She was very charasmatic and made my haircut experience even better! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is new to the area or a local and is in need of a GREAT CLIP! read more

I have short, thin hair. I ran in just to shape up my hair cut. MARGARET did my hair cut and I LOVE IT! I am very pleased with the way she shaped my hair. Looks so much better. She told me she would cut my little bit of hair to make it look like I had more hair. Spot on! I will go back to her! read more

So lucky we found MARGARET! She is so friendly & great with my kids. I've been having my boys haircuts done here for 2 years. It took me a while to find someone to do a good job as my sons hair is thick & blonde & hard to cut. Margaret does a great job! She's so sweet to the kids. She lets them hold the hair clips to keep them entertained & has conversation with them. She's so efficient when she's all done she cleans all their hair up off them & puts gel & styles their hair. My brother went there today and the lady asked if the hair was long enough and he said he liked it. Then the lady said "are you sure" and my brother said "uh yea" and the lady said "I think I should cut it shorter that's what I would reccomend" and then He said "I like it" and then she just cut it shorter. I'm always impressed with how friendly and efficient the stylists are here. Nobody points out that my bald spot is growing, which is so kind. My hair is easy to do with a buzz clip size 2 & 5 but stylists here spend time manually touching up all around and even kindly volunteer wrangling my eyebrow hairs. Sometimes they have specials/coupons that keep a basic haircut to $10 but when not on special it's $18 for basic cut which is much cheaper than a full-service salon but seems a bit high for a sit-n-buzz-repeat kind of haircut emporium. read more

I am not too sure what's happened. I used to be a regular customer here but I am no longer going to be taking my family here for haircuts. I guess they no longer allow the "regulars" to go to their favorite stylist . When I requested her the woman with purple hair.... I later found out she's manager..... overheard us when I attempted to check in and interrupted me and said that they no longer are taking requests and then (in front of my favorite stylist - I don't want to say her name because I don't want to get her in trouble) proceeded to tell me the names of the other stylists and how they were qualified to give me a good haircut. I said that was all great but I prefer to wait for my gal... she then continued to be pushy so I just left. No haircuts for us that day. I'm sure all the girls there are good but I tend to get attached. I called later that evening to see if she is working the next day or two and I would try again. But now they won't even give out any info when stylists are working next. What kind of business works this hard to be rude (YES SHE WAS QUITE HONESTLY RUDE IN THE WAY SHE SPOKE TO ME) and goes out of their way to be aggressive enough to lose their regular customers???? I finally called on a day my stylist answered and did get to go in for our cuts...She apologized for how that was handled and by no means should it have gone on the way it did but that her hands are tied. She said they have expressed their unhappiness over what was taking place but that nothing has Been done. If you guys want to continue to have the consistently regular customers like my family, my first recommendation would be to stop making the customers the problem. That's exactly how I was made to feel ; from wanting my favorite stylist who my kids know and trust to do all our cuts to being rude over the phone as well. My stylist has never spoken to me the way that woman (who i later found out is the manager???) Spoke to me. It's is quite concerning when a employee of a business has to apologize for the manager's actions!!! Great Clips really should be paying more attention!!!!! Someone should. It just seemed to be far too much work on my part to get the regular cuts we are used to. Unfortunately if it's this hard next time I will have to seek elsewhere where it's not so difficult to get the haircuts we are used to by the stylists we prefer. read more

My husband just came home after getting a haircut in the LaQuinta shop. His hair doesn't look any different, and it was very long. Needed to be cut much shorter. Not a good haircut. I go there often and usually get a good haircut. read more

I've been coming to this location for MANY years now and I don't quite understand what the manager is trying to do with this "no request" rule. I've always gone to other stylists in the shop, but my last haircut was really good and wanted the same gal who cut it last! Once I saw she was there, INSTANTLY felt forced to go to someone else because she wasn't available. I asked, "Why can't she do my hair?" And the manager said they're trying to get rid of requests basically. I don't see what the problem is with just going to ONE person. If I like the way my gal cuts my hair then I have the right to wait for her to cut my hair! I shouldn't have to feel force to go to anyone else if I don't necessarily want to! This "NEW MANAGER"(SHORT HAIR SHE HAS) is just blatantly rude and seems like she doesn't care if she lose customers or not. This is the first time I have ever walked out of a hairdressing salon in disgust before I even sat in a chair: all I wanted was a blowout and an estimate how long it would take and the blonde older lady was so dismissive and rude (also to the gentleman she checked out before me) I was in shock. Never before have a had a "stylist" unable to give me an approx time it would take (some are fast under 40 mins and some are slow over 90). I had to pick up my car from the shop across the road by 6 and at 4.45 she was unable or unwilling to even guesstimate if I would be done in an hour or not. I also asked for a quote on getting a shampoo and cut and it was going to be $80. From Great Clips. Seriously. Above all it was her rudeness and completely inept customer service that had me walk right out the door. If you care about your hair at all, appreciate being treated nicely, and want a reasonable price, drive a couple of miles down the road and see Carla at Wondercuts - $52 + tip for shampoo, cut, blowout and flat irons and she was a darling. So was Benny. Great service and lovely people. I would return there in a heartbeat. They got me in right away and I was out in an hour. read more

Couldn't believe how rude the woman was today. My son showed her a simple picture of a boys haircut and she said they don't do cuts like that. Horrible attitude. I didn't even let my son sit in the chair and we walked out. I have 3 boys and Great Clips is a mile away from my house and I will never return. This wasn't my first visit to this location but it was the first time Gabriella cut my hair. She did a lovely job and was very nice and professional. The thing that annoyed me was the other gal that works there. She is the one that approached me when I arrived and asked what I wanted. I told her a haircut and she said....very rudely...ok, but it's a 40 minute wait. After assessing the number of people waiting I decided that it probably wouldn't be that long so I said ok, I'll wait. Less than 20 minutes later Gabriella was cutting my hair. The other stylist was obviously having a bad day because she was brisk and never smiled or said anything kind or pleasant to anyone. I had already decided I would not let her cut my hair. I would have insisted on waiting for Gabriella or I would have left. In the future I will call first to make sure Gabriella is there or I will go elsewhere. I've been a Great Clips client since the opened the first one in a Rancho Mirage and have rarely ever gone anywhere else for a haircut in all those years. Both myself and my great-grandson get our hair cut there. This is the only salon that seems to be able to deal with his cowlicks. ELIZABETH does us both and she is great!
