Jules is truly amazing! She has transformed my hair into a masterpiece. I have naturally brown hair with red tones that eventually turn an orange hue which are super hard to get rid of! Jules is a rockstar getting my brown hair back to its ultimate best. She even added some highlights for that summer vibe. Hip space but not in for the long haul. My hair color and health increasingly looks bad. Lots of breakage. Totally ignored my concern for my hair health or what I want to achieve. It looks good when blow dried, but terrible Like straw after I wash it. AND Watch out, you will get push back, when expressing unhappiness or concern with the results, no concern about hair health. even after showing great pictures/examples of my hair before I started to go to this salon. Even talked down to. I'm a healthy 64 years old and admit I'm not a young chick, but I wasn't born yesterday. I've been coming to this salon for the last two years. I actually think it's a beautiful salon with great stylists! However over time, their communication has gotten from bad to worse. No one returns your phone call. You cannot speak to a live person during business hours. I even tried scheduling an appointment with different stylists and NOTHING. For someone who spends a pretty penny on her hair, I find it very frustrating having to hunt someone down to get any type of hair service done. I can understand a busy schedule, but a simple follow up would be appreciated. Even if it's to say "I'll get back to you later this week, month ETC". When a stylist you've been going to for years, turns you over to her assistant, so that she can get to her brand new client ON TIME, then it's time to find a new stylist!!! Even if it's at the same salon with a different stylist. If she can switch you to someone else, then you can switch too! Your appointment bookings are for a particular hairdresser as a rule. The worst experience ever! I came for highlights and I stayed with 30% of my hair loosing all the rest!

I am reading the posts where people never receive a call back. I think that has happened to me at least 3x. I won't name names but when I had my hair highlighted over a year ago before leaving on a trip by the same girl that had been doing my hair for about 3 years.. When I got home - the low lights looked greenish. I called and told her and she said that her 'assistant could maybe fix it for me" She is my "girl" so I declined and asked her if she would fit me in. She could not or would no make time for me so she said" perhaps you can wash your hair with some laundry detergent and see how it comes out. WOW......over $100 w/ tip and I should try that? I did not go back but hear about other stylists that have great feedback so called mentioned a couple names and asked for someone to call me back who might have time. One I get it was not taking new customers, that's fine but I never heard from anyone. I did get a cryptic reply on my yelp to call a person but declined as that was the assistant of the girl who's lack of giving a dam about my situation would have made me uncomfortable. I have found another salon but I do get the negative posts now. read more

I was really excited to get my hair cut and styled by them based on previous positive reviews. However, I have tried twice to schedule an appointment and have received no call back. The phone calls were also hard to hear because of large amounts of noise in the background. I understand this is a busy salon but more attention to connecting with potential clients would be nice. I had a full weave and cut today by Morgan Stein. My hair is thinning due to hormonal issues and I had some issues with lack of definition of ends and some self efforts to fix my color problems. Overall, I came in with some real issues. Morgan asked questions, really cared about fixing my problems and did a fabulous job. My hair has never looked better, I am very impressed and will be a regular customer. To top this off, the salon is so clean and attractive it was a pleasure to be in this happy, professional environment. Very relaxing, excellent result. You will not be disappointed! Five star plus 2017 update, Morgan is on maternity leave and I was booked with Megan. Wow, she is absolutely amazing. I wish we could leave zero stars. This was the worst. I wanted a balayage and to get my hair colored lighter. Instead, I walked out of there 4 hours later and paid $150 for what I didn't want. My hair was black and I didn't want it to be black. I wanted a brown balayage. When I walked out, my hair was still black and I ended up with red highlights. What a joke. The best part is the highlights are varying colors from red to blonde! There was more hair color on my forehead and hairline than there was on my gray hair. Then she tried to schedule me for another appointment. Like I would ever go back to have an amateur do my hair again. If you want to waste your money on an amateur who doesn't know what they're doing other than leaving poorly done highlights in an unflattering color and coloring your forehead... go right ahead and try to schedule an appointment. read more

If you are like me and read a million reviews before making a decision, then trust me: stop reading now and just go see Dennis at Dishwater Blonde Salon - I promise you will not regret it! I have fine hair that was very damaged from extensions, so when I made my appointment I wasn't expecting much in the way of improvement. Initially I was going to get a full foil, but Dennis said a partial would be better since it was less damaging; but if I still felt like it wasn't as bright as I wanted, I could come back in and he'd add in some more foils at no extra cost. The fact that Dennis recommended a less expensive service than the one I was expecting is a testament to how much he genuinely cares about getting the best result for his clients, and will go out of his way to make it happen. Needless to say my color and cut turned out amazing, and if he can make my damaged hair look that good, then I assure you - he's capable of anything :) read more

2 out of the 5 times I've tried to call this salon within the past month & a half they've answered the phone. I called for a quote to get a hair cut & ombré color last week. I was hoping to have it done before today. The last time I spoke with the receptionist she said she would pass my message onto a stylist & the stylist would call me back and this was Friday. I was really interested in getting my hair done here because of all the good friend referrals, reviews & pictures but I've been let down by poor customer service. They don't take walk ins so I didn't even bother dropping by the salon. I guess I'll just have to take my money elsewhere to get my hair done. read more
