I'm new to the area and it was time for a haircut, so I tried Totally You on a whim. I'm so glad I did. Amelia was my stylist. She was friendly and personable. This business gets 5 stars for skills, organization, friendliness, and cleanliness. Thank you for helping me feel brand new!

Ari is literally amazing! She turned my hair into something so much better than I could have hoped! Sweet, helpful, and made our experience perfect! We ran into a few scheduling snags and she not only adjusted to help us out but made the whole experience perfect. I was pretty anxious about this and she made everything wonderful! (Also the color work she did to get the brassiness out of my hair was top notch!) literally can't say enough good things!

I went to the salon today to get a haircut and ombre fixed. This was my first time being there and it did not disappoint. The staff was very nice and all seemed to do a great job on the clients I was able to see while I was there. My hairdresser was Rosa and I am extremely pleased of how my hair came out. She saved my almost orangey ombre (done almost a year ago) and made it a beautiful blonde ombre with life again. She took really good care of me. Definitely a place worth going to again read more

This is the place to get your hair done. Very professional, with lots of experience. Just what I was looking for. I have long wavy hair. I'm older and have some grays so I asked for hair color. Something that can blend in the grays. Love the outcome of my hair. The color came out really pretty and I also got it a trim. Great atmosphere the ladies are very sweet and fun. Visited for the first time yesterday for a blow dry appointment with Patty. Nobody was at the reception desk and a woman who was blow drying a client nearby pretended not to see me. After I stood there awkwardly waiting to be greeted she finally asked me if I had an appointment. When I said yes she asked my name and said dismissively "Oh we'll be right with you." No idea if she was in fact Patty or someone else. I went to sit down but the chairs were visibly stained and dirty, the whole salon was hot (no air conditioning and 110 outside!) and appeared very unclean. I excused myself and left. Not a positive first impression - won't be back. read more

Love this salon!! All the ladies are very sweet and greet with a smile on their face making me feel welcomed. I come all the way from Palm Springs to get my hair done here with ALIYAH. She's amazing and always accommodates to what I ask for no matter how crazy it is!! Aliyah has done my highlights, balayage, money piece, bangs, haircuts, amazing long layers, taken me from light to dark and dark to light, she's amazing and does it ALL!!. Patty previously suggested I get hi-lites to cover my grey. When she asked what color hi-lites I said a beige blond. She didn't show me a color chart so I should've known then. I went into salon 20% grey and walked out with 80% grey hair that was very coarse. When I contacted another stylist the next day she said Patty must have left the foil on too long along with the additional 20 minutes of toner. The toner came after Patty removed the foil and must have realized my hair was all wrong. For the 1st time in my life I said I shouldn't have to pay but Patty said she's calling the police. I had a dinner fundraiser planned then that I hated to go to looking like I did. She told me to return another day and she would fix my hair but she's the last person I wanted as a stylist. I used Cristina at Totally You previously who was good and always tipped her xtra well but she was sadly on sick leave. I wish my rating could have been a minus instead of 1 star. read more

Unorganized and poor customer service. There was an issue with scheduling and no one was there to help or even bothered to help me. I stood at the front desk for 5 min until I reached out to a stylist and asked if she could help me out. Minutes later I receive a phone call from the stylist that was scheduled to cut my hair and tells me she's not coming in until later and to find someone else to do it. Mistakes happen but the situation was handled very poorly. Very frustrating experience and a waste of my time. read more

Go to Dennice. She is PHENOMENAL. Great energy, and amazing technique. I had hair down to my shoulder blades and told her I wanted a pixie. She had me show her a picture of what I was looking for and then sculpted it around my face (very impressed). SUPER HAPPY with my cut. Very positive person. And she doesn't yammer on like other stylists. Her styling is on point. You won't go wrong with her. read more

Patty is amazing! I had virgin hair and was looking for a color change. She knew exactly what to do to make me happy without having to explain it. The next visit we added tape in extensions and now I have the hair I always dreamed of! She is a master! She also does all my blowouts and updos for Social events. I have even convinced my husband to go to her for his cut and color, when he used to go to J Russel and pay twice as much, wait twice as long and the results half as good. As a plus, she is super sweet and fun to talk to. I am so grateful to have Patty! Go see her today! read more

I just moved here from LA and was looking for a hairstylist that really knew how to cut hair and I found her! Patty! She's super sweet and has a skill with those scissors! As I was there too I saw a lot of the other stylists work and they did amazing and really knew what they were doing as well. I am going on a trip out of state early this morning, and the day before yesterday was the first day I could get away from work early, and by early I mean an hour before this salon was supposed to close. I called and explained the situation and expressed that I really only needed my roots bleached, I could do the toner at home I just didn't want to damage my hair by overlapping the bleach. The girl was really sweet on the phone and told me to come on in. I got there and was taken to a chair by Selina. She was super sweet and very careful with my already fragile hair. She was chatty (in the way that makes you feel like family) and told me that she had no problem toning and cutting my hair. She took her time and made sure I got exactly what I wanted and never made me feel bad about keeping her there after hours. This is the first time I have walked out of a salon with exactly what I wanted in over 15 years! I didn't catch her name, but the owner (i believe) was just as awesome! It took until 2 hours after close for my hair to be done, but neither of them treated me like I was a bother. Hands down one of the BEST salons I have been to in a long time and I will continue to go there! read more

I Came in for the first time this past July and was welcomed by the receptionist and my assigned stylist, Stephanie. I am always nervous when getting my hair coloredvas I have naturally black hair and any type of lightening is always an issue. I showed Steph a few pics of cuts an the ombré I wanted and she made it happen. My cut and color, the service, and the atmosphere were well worth the $115 I paid. I have been a client for close to 3 Years. I had services from Cat in La Quinta and then followed…read moreher to the Palm Desert location until she was asked to leave after requesting a few weeks off (unpaid) to care for a family member. She gave me two referrals to go back to the La Quinta center as I live in La Quinta. I had three visits with Emily. On the second visit I included eyebrow waxing. I found when I washed my face and removed the exaggerated eyebrow pencil later that day, I saw that I was left with a big hole at the tail end of my left eyebrow. On my third visit (a month later) I showed Emily the result of her wax damage and she said "let's watch it until your next visit". I left the appointment after scheduling my next appointment at the reception desk for later in June 2026. I happened to receive my credit card statement and noticed that I was charged $64 from my third visit. As I said, I have been a client for 3 years. During that time, I purchased contracts for Brazilian wax (which I modify at my own request), Upper thigh, and eyebrows. I have received the same services as described above under the prepaid agreement. I have consistently modified the upper thigh to include the back of my thigh only as that is really all that I require. When I contacted the Center and asked what the charge was for, I was told that my contract is only for the "inner thigh" and therefore, I was charged the $64 for waxing the back of my upper thigh. Never, ever, was any added charges made on my credit card after any of my previous visits. Plus and most concerning, the charge was put on my Mastercard the Center has on file WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. I made my followup appointment after my service and I left. There was ample time to speak to me about the impending secret charge while I was making another appointment. My following conversations (after the discovery of the charge on my Mastercard) with their management representative, I asked for a full refund of monies I have on account. I did not want to get services from this company any longer. I was told I needed to either forfeit the credit or take a gift card to be used at the Center. In my opinion, if in fact it was decided that the prior services I received were different from the services described that I paid for, I should have been notified during my visit or called thereafter. It should NEVER have been that I was secretly charged an additional fee. Needless to say, I can not afford to walk away from over $413 (after cancellation fee has been taken from the actual amount on hand). So, I am thinking about different ways to complete my contract with European Wax Center and NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. Leslie R.

Then the cashier was insistent on my zip code and information for all the cards that I've ever had on file and said it's ALWAYS been EWC policy since they opened to get all of the information EVERY TIME a card is used ( this feels like a scam and an attempt to obtain personal information) I know this isn't the case because I have been to many EWC locations across the US and have NEVER been asked for it, it's scan and go! Never have I been asked for info on my card. Needless to say this was not the best visit or a favorite location anymore.

I got an extremely fucked up septum piercing here with chip and his gorilla wife. Not only did he…read morepierce it extremely low, crooked, AND the ball fell off immediately which is further proof he was rushing and did not tighten it. He blamed me for "twitching". If you look at the piercing where he initially started before said twitch you will see that he already placed the piercing far too low. I got a lobe and septum. He never counted down nor did he talk to me before or after the piercing and I believe he used the same needle. I received NO care sheet or instructions on how to take care of my piercing. The whole experience was god awful. When I politely asked if it was supposed to be that low him and his wife said yes. After feeling like I fucked up my whole face in the car and crying I built the courage to kindly and discreetly inform them of this. They tell him that "I don't like it" and he says, "Well if she doesn't like it she can take it out." He was obviously very upset. mind you, during the piercing, he made me extremely uncomfortable and when I tried to hold my cousins hand he gave me no warning or time to. He yelled at me while holding the needle to my nose while I was fighting him that I'm not ready and I need to hold my cousins hand, he protests "No, No, No! You're not gonna hold her hand. No you're gonna mess me up!! Stop moving, I need you straight. No no no no holding nothing no" mind you I have a video of me sitting straight only moving my hand to get some support. I don't understand why somebody would continue to pierce my flesh with a needle in these conditions. or why he was rushing to do this. He made me extremely uncomfortable. So the ladies prep a chair to TAKE OUT MY FRESHLY PIERCED SEPTUM. IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL THEN YOU KNOW PIERCING 101 YOU NEVER TAKE A FRESHLY PIERCED PIERCING OUT. IT CAN CAUSE IRRUPT AND IRRATIONAL BLEEDING. He obviously had no idea what he was doing and his wife began to give me attitude because I said I wanted a refund at this point. (I still hadn't spoke to him directly he had his back turned to me.) His wife stands by his side (good for her, go down with your husband queen) saying they've done this for years. I could not believe their reaction to my complaint. She was smiling in my face repeating their idiotic solution to my problem which again i was "If you don't like it take it out we've been doing this for years." "It's not that I don't like it you guys messed up my face and now you're trying to do more damage when all I'm asking for is a refund. You can't take out a piercing so obviously you haven't been doing this for that long or he is not professional." "He's right there if you wanna tell him he's bad" she said that with a condescending face as if to strike fear in me. I turned to him and had pretty much the same argument with him except he gave me my refund and turned extremely pissy. I'm honestly surprised he didn't piss himself the way his neck vein came out. Overall terrible experience. I feel bad for the other people that have to work with this toxic couple. They obviously have a terrible relationship and are placing the weight of their troubles on their business. I should have been much more upset at these imbeciles for fucking up my face. There was a girl there who did my friends piercing before mine even though I arrived before her and I wish I had gotten her. Maybe if they weren't trying to rush through and had common sense they'd leave the job to the professionals. It's clear this place will suffer due to the managements clear ineptitude and hot headed service. Inshallah Karma does it's thing.
