Excellent first experience here at Great Clips off Rinehart Road in Lake Mary. Interestingly enough, the wait was at 0 minutes on the app. But when I pulled into the parking lot, it was suddenly 14 minutes. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the lovely Cathy and was able to sit at her chair very quickly and get a perfect haircut. She was friendly and efficient and shared a few tips with me even as our conversation delved into grocery shopping in the area, etc. I doubt I was even there for 20 minutes and, just before the holiday, it was very busy. Today was my first time at this Great Clips location. I was wanting to donate my hair to Wigs for Kids and noticed Great Clips offers that as an option. This location was awesome and were very aware of length requirements and provided the envelope/paperwork for me to mail my donation. Becky cut my hair and was super kind! She is very friendly and intentional about asking important questions about hair preferences. She was careful to get the correct length of hair of donation while trying to keep the length I wanted left. I never felt rushed at my appointment. I was surprised to find out that my haircut was FREE since I was donating my hair. I still purchased some hair products to support Great Clips and of course tipped, since Great Clips and Becky did such an amazing job. I've never donated my hair before, so I was a bit nervous. However this was a very positive experience and I am thankful I was able to donate my hair to help kids. read more

Gail was my stylist and was very professional and did a great job. She asked what length I wanted and then 1/3 of the way through let me adjust and have her take off more because it was not short enough. They allow you to tip in cash or on the credit card. I got a haircut today and it was horrible. First she started insulting me saying how dead my hair was in a really rude way and that was the whole reason I was cutting my hair was to get most of the dead ends off. Then I asked her for 3 inches off and long layers. She took atleast 7 inches off if not more. I had been growing my hair out for awhile just for her to cut it all off. It looks horrible and she just kept cutting more and more hair off. My hair is healthier looking now but i wanted my hair long and I didn't care if there was still dead ends, I just wanted a few inches off too get most of the dead ends off. I hate my haircut and I don't want to even go back. Not to mention my hair is super short now which I did NOT want. read more

She knows my style and has never disappointed. All of the staff provide exceptional customer service. The prices have gone up over the years from 13.00 to almost now 20.00. The location is great as it is right next door to Publix, Chinese Food, and Italian restaurant. They have an online check in which makes it easier on the wait. read more

NEVER GO!!! you will receive the worst haircut of your life. i have gone to great clips for a while now and not once have i ever walked out the salon happy. I ask for half an inch off the top and they they used clippers that made my hair half an inch long next time i ask for an inch off the sides and back as well as a half inch off the top. i got an inch and a half off the top it is a shame this place exists and even more a shame that they profit millions off of absolutely butchering people on the daily. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went to great clips at 7:40 pm and they said they couldn't do any more haircuts because they are short staffed and by the time they will be done the haircut it will be 8 o'clock and they close at eight so they refused to take my business. read more

I have short hair that needs to be cut often in order to keep it looking good. I don't like having to go to a fancy salon every few weeks or months while being charged a ton for a quick inch off my hair. Came in today and Emily had me trimmed up and out the door in no time. Even sold me some great smoothing creme she uses on my hair that smells great. For 15 bucks for a quick cut- you can't go wrong! Check in is also very easy on the phone so you can just walk right in. I had been going to this facility for 7 years. I made an appointment for a perm and was greeted with pure disdain, they flat out refused to do the perm so I left. Been a long time Client who tips exceptionally well. Just received the worst service I have ever received. Literally had my autistic son in the chair, who is incredibly patient and loving and before she even started, a man of walked in and I was told that my son had to get up and have her serve him. Don't come Went back to speak to a manager, and was met by an extremely rude, unprofessional and confrontation assistant manager who was more interested in telling me that she had been there for 25 years and checking on line didn't mean faster service, then listen to the fact my son was already checked in and sitting in a chair at the direction of her staff member, when he was so rudely told he would have to get up from the chair because a man had walked in after we had checked in and my boy sat down. Simply inexcusable, and I Believe tortious behavior. If my business had an assistant manager so incompetent and rude I would be ashamed; hopefully the name she gave me Gail is better. read more

I went to this location on Saturday and asked how much a wash, haircut and blow dry was and was told it was $35.00 dollars for long hair. I said ok and got my hair done there. When I proceeded to check out I was than told it was $53.00 and I was shocked to say the least! I told the girl that the guy who checked me in told me $35.00 and she said no shampoo is $3, haircut is $15.00 and blow dry is $35.00. I was SO upset because I would have not gotten my hair done there for that much money. I would have gone somewhere else if I was informed correctly. I called the manager later and she was no help and was not willing to refund me the difference on what I was told. I was told the prices are al la cart here which I did not know. Most places quote the price for everything you are asking for. I will never go to a Great Clips again! read more

I took my daughter for a regular haircut and one of the hairstylist told me that she needs to check her. I stated that my daughter is a swimmer and she needs a good trimming and due to that fact she has split ends. The hair stylist then looked at me and said : "we do this to everyone , I need to call my supervisor." Up to that point I didn't understand what she was referring to, I thought she was a new employee and needed supervision. When her supervisor came , she told me the same thing, "we need to check" I was confused so I said "what do you mean?" She responded "We need to check for lice". I felt extremely offended. First : they weren't clear from the beginning , 2nd there was no sign in any part of the salon warning about that. And 3rd there were other kids that did not go through that process. I have never felt so offended in my life! I will never come back to this place and will pass along this unprofessional incident!! read more
