Cherisse did this haircut. A simple comb over. She's not good w/kids. He was cooperative and held still, just tried to talk with her. She seemed annoyed and rushed through it and had some weird comments about his neck being hairy or comparing him to a car accident. He is 6. She was only nice when it was time to pay. I went in there today to see if I can get a haircut. The lady who is working right now with redish/ orange hair , didn't get her name, told me to come back in 30 minutes. I said okay I'll be back in 30 minutes. I come back for her to tell me I'm not on the list and I didn't give them my phone number to contact me. I said you said to come back in 30 minutes and you never mention any list. She said okay I'll have to put you in the list when there's like 5 people ahead of me. The women who work here are super rude (specifically Michele). They act like they're mad that they have to cut your hair. The woman who cut my hair (Michele) was explaining something to me with a rude ass attitude while tapping her nail while pointing. From the moment that I walked in, she began looking me up and down. I will never go back here due to the horrible customer service and the fkd up attitudes. They don't deserve my business. You can tell that they hate their job. My daughter's hair gets greasy the day after she washes it and Michele asked her how long it's been since she washed her hair. Wtf? It made it super uncomfortable. This one is located near Smith's in the Smith's shopping center. I was delighted that we stopped in last night after our other errands, but it seemed like other people had the same idea, too. (It was the last hour, so there were two stylists, and about 8 customers- but one guy left, said he was returning tomorrow.) Jill was the one who cut my husband's hair and pretty quickly, too. It looked great- and it was exactly what he wanted (he too, had a bad experience at the last Great Clips we went to, a different location). She took him because some of the online check-in's were not there yet (and then everyone showed up, little by little). I had a bit of a wait. I didn't mind it though, and neither did our son, who was building towers with the blocks; there were two kid chairs and a table. Lots of seating for a huge crowd. Counter for checking in and paying is on the left, while the products, hair books, and magazine are on the right side. Cutting stations are in the middle and take up most of the location's space. The water machine and the bathroom are located at the back. I showed the stylist which styles (I really wanted the one with the long front sides, and shorter in the back, but the last stylist at another location took three inches off rather than the one inch that I requested) I was interested in, but asked her which one would be best for my texture (straight, fine). I trusted her. Jill cut my hair dry. I loved my haircut. Jill did a great job. I ended up with a blunt cut bob. I asked her to just trim off the bangs, as I wanted to grow it out a bit. (I need a style that is easy and doesn't require too much time- I have about 5 minutes in the morning and I don't use products, either.) I had two coupons $7.99 and a gift card with a balance of $8.00. They were patient as the checkout process hit a few snags. About ten minutes later, it was worked out. read more

I haven't been to this location in a while but stopped by because we were in the area. Checked in online with a 12 minute wait. Ended up being closer to 25 minutes. Tried this place after my normal place went through four different owners in a short amount of time. And I just wanted something simple and fast done right before my trip. I was a walk-in, in the middle of a weekday and was serviced reasonably fast. I was supplied a mask since the one I had would have hindered the stylist from cutting my hair. She was friendly and did my haircut like I wanted. She was fast and efficient. I don't like a lot of talk while getting a haircut, which was nice not to get any. I visited this location on Thurs Oct 26th and after checking in on line I proceded to the store. The wait went from 11 mins to 25 mins once I showed up. There was 1 stylist on duty and several of us waiting. Prices are fairly good and I am usually satisfied with my cut but I think it's unreasonable to have only 1 worker available as this is usually a busy place. I asked about that and was told the other person was at lunch. My review score would have been higher if there was adequate help on duty at the time. read more

Terrible customer service! Employee has the worst attitude! Making fun of a customer! I stopped by Great Clips at 9360 W. Flamingo Road yesterday to get my sideburns matched shape & length but was denied service. I've been going there for years until we moved to the Northern part of Vegas. I was around the area yesterday so I decided to go there. My sideburns are only about half an inch long and I didn't want to mess it up by trimming it myself. They were way too short to notice the difference between the two sideburns before but now that they're long enough it bothers me seeing them uneven. The worse part was when a black female hair stylist started laughing then getting upset that it took me three weeks to complain/noticed the difference between my sideburns. Then another hair stylist approached me to explain that they only have a two week window to get any haircut issues fixed. With a half inch long sideburns, how long do you think it will take a hair stylist to fix one sideburn to have both sideburns on equal shapes and length? This place needs to check on their customer service and attitude!!! read more

I went to this Great Clips location for years because it was the closest shop to my house. However, I have long since moved away from this neighborhood and still make the drive back for one stylist: Jessica G. My haircut is pretty simple and I've basically been getting a variation of it since I was a kid. But without any particular input from me, Jessica G really went above and beyond the first time she did my hair, showing me angles and clipper sizes and ideas that I didn't know existed. Beyond that, she really takes the extra time to make sure you look the best you can. I get compliments now from the same co-workers that have looked at me everyday for years. I've had a couple cuts from other stylists since then, but never again; she's just the best, and I notice the difference when she doesn't do my hair. I make sure she's the one who takes care of me when I visit, and will from now on. Friendly, professional, and excellent at what she does. Even if you have a standard style you always get, give her a try, I'm confident she can take it to the next level for you. read more

There is nobody who can do both hair cut and blow dry, except Jenny. They only care about tips and they told me that instead of doing my blow dry they can do several haircuts and make more tips and give horrible service every time. In my last blow dry I came out from there with my hair wet. I would not recommend anyone to go there especially for blow dry. read more

If your appearance is important to you, your making a big change in your hair style, or have the money to go to a salon; do NOT come here! Don't talk yourself into "giving it a chance" or saving some money!! It's not worth it! You'll end up close to tears like I am now. I came in with my bf who was getting a trim. And decided I didn't want to wait to go get my cut, even though I wanted bangs and didn't trust the people here. So I start to talk to the lady about my ideas thinking were having a consultation and she agrees to all of my ideas and in the end we don't decide on anything. She starts the trim and says we'll make up our minds about the bangs later. So after she cuts off all the dead (three inches) and I'm MISERABLE about the length of my hair I decide to go with the bangs even though she still isn't very confident or willing to say her opinion. THE END RESULT?! a very blunt bang right under my eyebrows across my whole face with very little to no blending. I could have set a bowl on my head an done this to my own damn self. I paid 15 dollars, gave a three dollar tip which was still to generous, for some low self esteem and a generic hair cut. Lesson learned :( read more

Please don't go here. My boyfriend and I stopped in to get our hair cut and both got absolutely horrible cuts. It's hard to mess up a men's haircut but his hair was cut with product in it and now is uneven and doesn't lay right anywhere. Mine is atrocious in every way possible. I've never had a haircut where I wasn't able to make it look good up or down. Sent out in 50 degree windy weather with a wet head. Didn't know how bad the cut was until I got home and blow dried it.
