Every time I've taken my two year old and my three year old here, everyone has been very kind and the haircuts always cute. They're prices are really fair, so I would recommend them, specially if it's your kid's first haircut since they provide a cute certificate with pieces of the hair that was cut and an after picture. An older woman (magenta pink short curly hair) was my daughters stylist. All I asked was that she trim her bangs, and trim her hair a couple of inches with some layers. My son (2y/o) was simultaneously getting his hair cut by another girl who was great. I turn to see what's happening to my daughter and her bangs are cut an inch above her eyebrows (micro bangs). No one would ever request this cut nor did I approve this length. Normal bangs are at eyebrow length. I had to then stand there supervising, knowing her hair was already messed up and no check-in on how the length was. I think the stylist knew she messed up. I couldn't even look her in the eye at that point and I couldn't say anything in front of my daughter to make her know she got a botched cut. It was very disappointing for a very simple request. Brought my 2 year old to get his hair cut, Crystal was pleasant but- she did a crappy job... uneven hair, though she checked in with me for the length- it was too uneven at that point. She even told me it looks good when wet, when hair is dry you can see the unevenness. I'm mind blown that she let us leave the salon looking the way my son did. I arrive at 1:50pm and check my son in, and was told that the hair dresser is just finishing up & should be with you shortly. "SHORTLY" is a no. It's now 2:20pm, well after my scheduled appointment and Michelle is still working on another child, the same child that she was working on when we first arrived. Michelle is amazing! She took care of my 3 year old even before she got started with him. She kept talking to him and got him involved every step of the way explaining the tool she was using and what she was going to do next. She did a great job keeping him calm and comfortable. My son's hair was cut perfectly considering it wasn't easy to do fade on a toddler. I'm really happy with the service and will be coming back to see Michelle from now on. I brought my son here to get his very first professional haircut, right before he turned a year old. I spoke to LeAnn on the phone and was able to book an appointment the very next day. We arrived at our appointment on time and was seen right away. I was nervous on how my baby would handle his haircut but he did amazing! I didn't get the name of the person who cut his hair and I'm so upset at myself, because she did such an amazing job! The whole visit took about 30 minutes and since it was my baby's first cut we got to take home a photo and a lock of his hair. Quality of product/service: Came here last Tuesday, a day prior to my son's birthday after he was finally ready for a new hair cut, 7 months after being traumatized from another establishment not too far from here (that's another review). I was reading reviews and tried to get a specific stylist, but she was booked. So we went with whoever was available to take us, which was Kelsey. She is amazing! She said she has been cutting kids hair for years now, and it was obvious. She did so great with my son. I was so worried she's have a hard time and I really didn't want another bad cut for my son especially for his birthday. So I was trying to help as much as I could, but Kelsey assured me that she got it handled and to just sit and relax. I was still worried but I saw that she really did know what she was doing. I asked to just shorten my son's hair. I asked for a bowl cut to play it safe, she noticed the spot the other establishment screwed up on, it interfered with the style we wanted but she was able too work around it. Customer service: Both Kelsey and Leanne were there and both were super friendly and professional. I initially called and left a message to book and my message was returned promptly by Leanne the following business day. Establishment: SO much nicer in person than in pictures. This is the closest establishment to us but have avoided it due to how dark and empty it seemed in the pictures and by passing by it outside. I'm disappointed at myself for not I just walking in here with my dude to begin with. This place is: -clean -fun and hip -multiple Nintendo consoles for little kids and games for toddlers in the waiting area -definitely felt newer and nicer than the other establishment we went to. Price point: Great for the professionalism and literally not having to worry about helping hold your little down to prevent them from moving. They are expert! Well, Kelsey prove herself to be. I like that they have Wii available for the kids while they're waiting and that the children can watch a movie of their choice, while getting their hair cut. LeAnn is amazing! We took our son for his first hair cut and she was so patient with him. She took the time to explain to us how his hair would fall and suggestions based on his fine and very straight hair. We had a mask on him and she respected that by moving the ear loop while holding the mask in place. She worked with his tantrum when the clippers came to clean around the edges. We never felt rushed and he looks so handsome with his first hair cut. They have cute cars and tv screens to keep the kids occupied. We always come here and I the concept of a kids cut is always awesome. Every time we come it's always a wait. Even if we have an appt or not. Today we are the second person of the day walking in at the same time another customer was walking in. It took 35 minutes to wait for a cut today. The employees take phone calls constantly which distracts them from doing cuts. Also I don't like anyone sitting on the phone while they are cutting my kids hair. I've watched them walk away from small kids sitting in the chairs and the kids almost fall out. They should know better than to walk away from a small child Sitting in the car chair or any chair at that. Today a little girl was getting her hair cut and she kept telling the lady it hurts and she didn't even pay much attention to it. I would much rather go to another place to get a hair cut but my son enjoys watching movies or playing games while he gets a hair cut. Maybe I'll look to see if there's another one around because this gets completely ridiculous. They lack customer service. Why don't they have a receptionist?? They have games and video games for the kids that are in the waiting area, They have tv for every sit so the kids can pick a movie from the library and watch it while they work on cutting their hair which works great as a distraction.
