China cut my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she basically shaved my head. My hair is so short I have to wear a wig as there is nothing I can do with it. If you see Duc working, PLEASE RUN AND DO NOT LET HIM CUT YOUR HAIR. He finished my husband's hair in 10 minutes and it looks like a 10 year old kid cut it (refer to photos). It's a shame that great clips hires amateurs. I get that it's a low budget barber shop but good lord, get someone who isnt Duc. His skill level is a 0 out of 5. Listen to the other 1 star reviews about the haircutter named Duc! I asked for a 1 on sides and back, blended at the sides, and Hair! Left! On! Top!, but pulled a longer strand from my widows peak and asked for just that to be shortened. He cuts hair really fast and he shortens ALL the hair on top instead of just simply cutting that strand. I received a 1 all the way to the top sides of my head and no blending as similar to a mid fade. I had been growing my hair on top for some time now and will have to wait for it to grow back now. All the other stylists here like Melinda and others who I can't remember right off, cut my hair as requested and understood the nuance of wanting to keep my hair on top for styling purposes and have the bulky thick sides trimmed down to blend with the long top and short sides. This guy did not ask clarifying questions like the others and really I was under the impression that he is not fluent enough in English to do that or even to understand exactly what I wanted anyways. The haircutter also coughed on me during the haircut and did not say excuse me or apologize.I was not upset and figured it was an accident. Some people would be very upset by that and would not tip after this whole experience. I did not complain about the haircut and gave a $5 tip. I have taken my kids here for a while and it's never awesome but it works. This time, my son got the worst haircut I've ever seen. I could tell the girl was new, and I get it but you are still representing a place that you expect to come out looking decent. It took her an hour for a simple boys haircut. Nothing fancy. Just a regular boys trim. He came out looking like he cut his own hair. I didn't take him back because we were leaving town and I didn't realize how bad it really was until he showered. No frills hair cut. I checked in on the app, they texted me that my wait time is 15 minutes. I arrived with a minute to spare. Kaitlin cut my hair as I had described. I didn't realize that they do not accept Discover! I had to come back to pay because my visa was in my other bag. So embarrassing but they didn't seem to mind. Everything is a la carte. If you want a wash or style you have to ask for it. I like to shower after my haircut so washing and styling it during my visit isn't needed. I took my son in per usual to get a fade hair cut with a hard part. The guy ruined my son's hair and didn't even apologize for the mess up. I called and they told me the manager would reach out. The manager never reached out. Weeks later I called again and then the manager called and left me a message asking what I would like done when I asked several times via email, text and phone call for at the very least, a refund. The request for long layers was not fulfilled, but I went with it anyway. My big reason for coming was taking the length off. My face was at least framed from my bangs that have grown out from last year. I didn't realize until I got home that a portion of my hair was longer than the rest, so I had to cut it myself. I got my hair cut at the Great Clips at 1970 Village Center Cir #5 Las Vegas, yesterday. I contacted Great Clips Corporate, rather than writing a critical YELP review, because I am sure there are some excellent stylists in employment at "Great Clips". Corporate got back to me the next day and had the GM call me. When I told her the story, I could literally hear her roll her eyes. No sorry, no resolution other than recite their policy, which is to go back to any Great Clips and say I need an adjustment. The "stylist" did not deliver in any respect. I wanted a 5 razor on the sides but when I spoke to him he couldn't comprehend because the notes said a 4, that's for another story. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he barely glanced at it. I will definitely need to find a hair cut alternative. read more

What the hell... my little brother just got back from his haircut and I had to get right on to review.. this is devastatingly bad. I get it's a great clips and you're not gonna get best of the best but like... this is a whole new level of terrible. I understand the stylist was busy but to do this? Straight up violation. This isn't even close to what we had asked for, my dad tried to stop and correct her mid cut but she snapped and said "I'm not done yet", while there she also got angry at other customers and raised her voice to them. She was very rude and obviously did not care about the quality of her work nor the reputation of the store. I had nice long hair and I wanted an inch trimmed off. The girl had me stand to cut my hair because it was too long and when I sat back down at least 4 inches were gone and I have long bangs now??!! I had to tell her to stop because she was trying to "blend" my hair when she cut it all off already. I left crying after the manager tried to fix it but my hair is cut and gone. A day later I need to have my hair fixed because it looks terrible! Now I have to cut my hair short and I'm just so upset.
