The contrast between the rest of the staff and Ms. Lana is shocking. While everyone else goes the extra mile, she seems to resent doing her job. I was treated to 'I guess' in response to simple requests, a lazy hair wash, and a half-hearted blow-dry that left my hair wet. Even after pointing out the dampness, she didn't bother to fix it. This cut is unacceptable because it is technically unfinished. There is a harsh, unblended "shelf" where the layers should melt together, and the perimeter is jagged and completely uneven. ​Because Ms. Lana refused to dry my hair, she skipped the critical dry cross-check, essentially charging me for a finished service while leaving me with an unpolished "rough cut" that I now have to pay someone else to fix. I was here at opening time and there was a bit of a rush because the app doesn't allow you to add yourself to the list if the store hasn't opened yet. A small adjustment that they could make. I have a simple haircut of a one on top and zero on the sides. Faded in obviously. The lady here got the one on top partially correct. There are small patches of hair sticking out. Uneven from what I can see. She did not do a zero. She took off the guard and went on one side of my head and that's it. Didn't fade in at all. I didn't say anything as a result I am able to fix it. What to take from this review is she let me leave with my hair like that clearly not knowing what to do with what I asked. I just fixed my hair. I don't know how to cut hair but Damn if I can do this with no training. What the hell is she doing with her training. read more

Got told it would be a two hour wait, and was signed up for a text notification when my wait was 15 mins. Never got a text so I went back shortly before close. When I walked in the girl that I first talked to told her coworker she had voided me off the wait list. Both employees seemed like they didn't really want to help me, and the person that did my haircut charged me for a regular haircut when they always charge me for a neck trim when I come in as I only have the sides trimmed. This was the worst experience I have had at this location. Normally the staff are very friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have consistency from all the staff. The women working here are atrocious. Its the only reason not to step foot in this great clips. When you first enter the shop, you hear sighs from them, as if you were bothering their conversation. When they ask your information, they bark questions toward you, and are full of eye-rolls and unappreciative genstures. When they cut your hair, its just as bad. The woman working with me took about 30 seconds with my hair, ignoring what i wanted done, and sent me off to be charged. I was furious with the service at this branch. Do avoid. There are plenty of better hair places that don't treat customers so poorly. read more

I received a $6.99 haircut coupon in the mail for Great Clips and should have recycled it. The stylist I had was clearly very inexperienced. She had to ask for advice a couple times while cutting my hair. I showed her a picture of a long a-line cut that I wanted and showed her how long I wanted mine. When she finished the basic cutting, my hair length was already shorter than what I had asked for. But too late - she can't put my hair back on. So I didn't say anything because I figured she only had layering left to do, which shouldn't take much, if any more, off. I was wrong. She cut an extra inch off the total length while layering. By the time she was done, my hair looked much shorter than what I asked for. She told me that it would lengthen out more because my hair is currently in shock from having so much cut off. Well that hasn't happened. I should have gone to my regular place - a beauty school. Because now I'm stuck with hair that is way too short for my liking and I can't put it in a high or low bun to try to hide it, because not all my hair will reach. So I get to have an uncomfortable middle bun that I hate. My usual "style" is air drying and leaving it. But now my hair is too short and it has more of a curl now that it's shorter. I haven't been to a cheaper hair salon in a while, and now I remember why. I like beauty schools because the stylists are fresh and they have a teacher to check their work and be there in case they need any help. The Great Clips "stylist" that did my hair should probably take some more classes because this is the worst haircut I've been stuck with. read more

I know that for $14, I shouldn't expect much...but my last two experiences here have been less than satisfactory. I don't think that being on a budget means I deserve crappy service and embarrassing haircuts. There used to be a stylist named Kelsey who always gave me a perfect cut every time, and was so friendly. Since she left this location has gone downhill. Cold and aloof employees; rushed, haphazard haircuts! This last time, my bangs ended up a full inch shorter than I asked, and jaggedly cut to boot. Definitely not what I asked for. Luckily hair will grow back...and when it does I'll be sure to choose another place for an affordable cut. read more

I pay a lot of money to my stylist for color, which doesn't leave a lot of money for a cut, so I generally go to great clips for a trim. Went here last Friday and got about 1 1/2" cut off and the cut was perfect. I'll stick with my regular stylist if I want a style change for my hair, but great clips has been just fine for in between trims. read more

this place is in a great location, in the shopping center with subway. i used the app to make sure it wasn't busy and it wasn't. i checked in online and the ladies were waiting for me. olie helped me right away and my hair cut turned out well. the price is reasonable and they offered a donation which turned into a coupon for the hair cut. will be back. read more

No stars, I've had great service here before but "Jessica" has ruined it for me. This is the second time she has had awful customer service from her. the first time I let her have the benefit of the doubt maybe she was having a bad day but while I was in the chair she was talking to coworkers about how she wasn't going to do a customers hair ... While she was cutting mine. but the second time I she was obviously irritated I walked in the door I was the the only other customer there and she was beyond rude. I sat down in her chair and she asked seemed irritated by any request I had - I stood up and walked out. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL. From the very moment I walked in I could tell this "professional" was in a bad mood. No greeting, No eye contact, just an angry sneer when she saw me walk in through the door. I tried to tell her what I wanted, which was completely different from the usual history of what is on file, and she challenged me then laughed at what I was trying to communicate. She was clawing through my hair roughly with her ridiculous claws and tugging out individual hairs while laughing to herself instead of listening to what kind of fresh new style I wanted. After that I'd had enough of this UNprofessional and her blatantly disrespectful and unkind attitude and I decided to leave. As I got up I said I had changed my mind and she actually yelled at me and said she was refusing me service, well sweetie you can't deny what you never gave.
