We also had egg rolls, yea crispy and full of cabbage but good. I ordered the Kung Pow Chicken, it came as deep fried balls of chicken in a orange sweet sauce with a few veggies, peanuts and no heat, I have never had Kung Pow chicken like that, it is usually stir fried with vegetables, peanuts and red hot peppers, I also believe Kung Pow is to be spicy. Located in a strip mall like many others- so it might get lost in the shuffle, but GPS gets you right to it. They now have pick up only right now so you have to call in. The system they have in place for ordering seems to work for regulars, but I was highly confused when I called in, not being responded to. My wife and I went here on a date night. Boy what a date. We both couldn't finish our meals. I was so hungry I ate about 4-5 fork fulls before realizing I wanted to die. We just threw away the food, then went home and burned our clothes. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat having dreamt we went back there. NSA if you are reading this they may have figured out the most effective interrogation technique known to man. Recruit these cooks. My wife consistently says it tasted like a sock. I disagree. This place is really more of a take out location, they do have seating, but basically they just have you grab the takeout packed food, then just go sit over there on your own with no waiter service. When we first walked in I was looking for excuses to slowly back out and leave, and was just very uncomfortable with the layout. The staff was all just staring at us, we didn't get a welcome or anything just a sort of nod of acknowledgement. There was also a sort of musty odor that I was concerned about, and just overall no Bueno. The only good thing about any of the food we got was the fried rice, it is pretty good and has large chunks of actual cured ham in it. My sesame chicken was bland and had a sort of unpleasant bathroom cleaner taste somewhere in the profile, my wife's lemon chicken was just served with sauce on the side, and again it was fairly bland, but had a sort of cat lady flavor to it. We also had an order of egg drop soup which had a strong fish sauce flavor and odor to it, which I don't like in an egg drop. The egg rolls were frozen food isle at best, and the cream cheese wontons were fine, but the included sweet and sour dipping sauce had the same cat lady sort of taste to it. I am only giving them 2 as opposed to 1 because the rice was pretty good, and the chicken itself seemed pretty fresh and had a good texture and flavor (as mentioned my wife's lemon chicken was served un-sauced). I also wanted to note that despite other reviews I found the staff to be unhelpful, not warm or pleasant at all, though not rude. We did however really feel like they were inconvenienced by us showing up on a slow night to force them to work. Overall I think 4-5 words were said to us, and none of them were "Hello", "Welcome", "thank you", or "goodbye". I would not ever go here again, and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

This was my first time here, and I will never go back. I had a large order with 5 entres. The staff was kind and had my meal done exactly when I said it would be done, which was awesome. Absolutely no flavor in the food at all, and most of the meat was gross and did not look or taste like it should. The Pepper Steak with onions had good tasting onions and peppers, but the steak was the oddest color I have EVER seen, and was not edible. Kung Pau Chicken that said it is spicy on the menu - had no flavor and not even a hint of spiciness. None! The sweet and sour pork was ok. I ordered Chicken Curry, and the sauce was minimal and no taste. I do not get it at all! I have been to small places in other towns here with delicious tasting chinese - this was REDICULOUS!! The vegetable lo mein literally had less than 10 pieces of veggies in it. The ham fried rice was like white rice with a few peas and a handful of ham. Nothing "fried" about it. The Pork egg rolls tasted like the freezer egg rolls you can buy at the grocery store. I wasted 83.00$ for flavorless and nasty food. I will never try this place again. read more
