By far the one that took the cake (no pun intended) was a private charter with Chef Martin of Key West Personal Chef. He and his assistant Shaina took us aboard his boat with my fiancé, brother-in-law and his 9 year old son. After cruising through the flats and sightseeing the local islands off Key West and Boca Chica Key, Martin brought us to Snipe Key. He anchored his boat along a huge sand bar and carried all the materials he needed to the beach and prepared us one of the most amazing meals I've ever eaten. With simple but fresh ingredients he made salsa and guacamole, conch salad ceviche, lobster and shrimp salad rolls, jerk chicken skewers, grilled swordfish (caught that morning by his friend) and all the salads and fixings you can imagine. We enjoyed some iced cold beverages and music and had an epic day. We even did some snorkeling and took the obligatory pics on the swing at Snipe Point. On the way back Martin even took some time to bring us to some of his old hang outs and little inlets. He told us stories of growing up and camping and playing along these islands. He really knows the history of the area and he cruised through the shallow waters with ease. I bet he can do it with his eyes closed! When we returned to the dock Martin took the extra time to show us his prep kitchen space and supper club. Something he certainly is and should be proud of. He introduced us to his partners Lissette and Jose who were already prepping a private meal for another party that evening. Martin ended the day by giving us a bottle of champagne to congratulate us. He really is a gentleman and an outstanding human being, let alone amazingly talented chef! To top it off Shaina emailed us some incredible pictures she took throughout the day. We (58m in NC, 61m in VA) chose Conch Concierge a year prior to our June 2025 destination wedding, and things started out well enough. Until we started asking questions. "Can you review our invitation text to make sure we haven't overlooked anything?" "When do you recommend we mail invitations?" "Why does our paid retainer show as both a credit and a charge?" After prompting them for responses, we finally heard from them after anywhere from 10 to 19 days. We had to text them after being left waiting for a video call to start. Rasa appeared -- late, of course -- with no apology or explanation. We expressed our concern about their lack of responsiveness. Michael acknowledged their shortcomings and assured us, "Moving forward, we are committed to providing the responsiveness and clarity you rightfully expect." That did not happen. As we ordered the contents of our swag bags, we had them delivered to their office. There were about 10 total deliveries. Each time, we alerted them in advance about what was arriving and asked that they (1) verify the contents, and (2) notify us that the items were what we ordered. We asked this every time. They told us they would let us know. We didn't get a single confirmation. Not one. Zero out of ten. Although Rasa did end up confirming the shipments for us the week before the wedding, at that point it was entirely too late to reorder anything that might have been missing. Fortunately, our shippers fulfilled their end of the agreement and delivered what was ordered. But in the weeks leading up to the wedding, Conch Concierge left us completely in the dark. And lastly, we are now 68 days past our wedding and have not heard a peep about our photos. Nothing. Our contract reads "Estimated delivery for your online proofing album is approximately 30 days." Yes, it says "estimated" and "approximately." And things happen. What apparently doesn't happen with Conch Concierge, however, is communication. We have no clue regarding the status of our photos. But that's what we've come to expect from them. We're holding out to see how long it takes them to acknowledge us. (We're guessing this review might light a fire under them.)

Snorkeling with Fury, Kayak Tours with Lazy Dog, Scavenger Hunt, Birthday Party & Dinner at the Conch Republic right in the middle of the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, finishing on a sunset cruise with Fury. Everyone had a great time and Maria helped make sure we picked the right events and setup reservation blocks for all our events, and then made sure the events we sponsored went flawlessly. The casual "Find the best KeyLime Pie contest" prompted a lot of fun facebook posting and the discovery of many different pies and a few top vote-getters! Maria spent time upfront to learn what kind of experience we wanted, and demonstrated a lot of experience on the island -- and through a series of emails and phone calls planned a series of activities. Ultimately, I didn't need to worry about anything when we got there! Lots of guests asked who helped plan this and said they will use We've Got The Keys for their next event in the Keys. Maria also helped bring in a fantastic photographer that captured our party from all angles. We came from quite a distance and so did many of our guests (Portland OR, Austin/Houston TX, Hershey/Harrisburg PA, Greensboro NC, Louisville, KY). I got a quick email response from Jennifer asking for more information from me, saying they had my date available, etc... I replied to that email and then never heard back. A few days later I emailed again. And never heard back. A few days after that I called the office, on a Thursday, to try to set up an appointment to talk the next week. I was told that Jennifer was out with a client and had a busy weekend but would call me back on Monday. I was surprised that someone trying to gain my business wouldn't take the time to make a quick call or send an email to set up an appt but I figured I could wait until Monday. It is now a week later and I still haven't heard from anyone. Very disappointing. They may be very good at planning weddings but unfortunately, because of their poor communication & customer service, I will never know.

We hired her and her partner, Solaris Gregory, to plan our wedding. The details were surprisingly easy to arrange. We even picked our flowers from a wide selection of beautiful flowers on line! When we arrived in Key West, all we needed to do was get our marriage license. That was an extremely easy process! Our wedding day was stress free! I arrived on the beach to find my future husband waiting for me. Solaris began photographing everything. He was professional and we were so impressed with him and his work. He took over 250 pictures of our wedding! Both Marcela and Solaris were so personable. It was a pleasure to share our day with them. We felt as though we had known them for years! They had fresh water and a welcome sangria as I checked in. *They have daily coffee in the morning and cookies and iced tea in the afternoon. The only thing missing is a happy hour with wine and cheese! I spent a lot of time trying to find the right room (online). Without being there, it was hard to choose. I chose a poolside room (shared balcony). I was given room 3 and I loved it. :) There is plenty of room for two people. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were perfect. They have complimentary water (2 bottles) in your room. They have a mini fridge and options to buy snacks and liquor. They have fruit infused water next to the pool daily. You will stay hydrated. There is an honor bar next to the water; which has a few pricy options for a beer or other canned beverages. I did see plenty of people have their own drinks poolside. So, outside drinks are allowed at the pool...but no glass. They have two pools. I preferred the pool towards the back. There are lush beautiful plants all around you and you'll often see little lizards scurrying by the pool. They did not have a late checkout for my room but they were nice enough to hold my bags and have use of the pool while I waited for my friends to arrive. I would stay here again but during high season, the rooms get expensive. I loved room 3 but would love to someday stay in the cute cabin looking rooms up behind the pool. They have a covered porch, sitting room m, and a large bathroom. Overall, the service was solid. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, the bed was amazing, and the pools were a lovely respite from the crowded streets and heat of the city.
