Lunch on the way to the Keys. Part jungle Tiki, part Hippie Village and fresh market and bakery. Food cooked in a little trailer, great selection all cooked fresh and delicious. Shredded Hawaii beef tacos and blackened swordfish with coconut rice and black beans. It's all mostly self service order at the counter pick up when your names called. It's antique place but you gotta find a table out of the sun or you will roast. Noise level is low because it's all basically outside so easy to have a conversation.
So much more than a food truck. It's just as casual and convenient as a food truck but is a tropical paradise with multiple shops and areas to enjoy. I came with a plan to order to-go but quickly decided to dine-in for the relaxed ambiance. (And yes, I love me some Florida roosters perched in trees.) Although the menu didn't state it, entrees come with two sides and a salad, so it was a lot of food. Fun variety of bbq, seafood, Caribbean and Asian fusion with tasty slaws and sauces. I got the shrimp / spare ribs combo with plantains, kimchee, and tropical salad. I probably wouldn't get spare ribs next time as it had more of a soy sauce flavor than I personally wanted... but I am definitely looking forward to a "next time"! Service was also extremely friendly, informative, and quick.
Amazing local Keys spot owned and operated by locals, and serving local foods. We stopped in on our drive North out if the keys for a bite to eat, and were blown away by the atmosphere. Upon entering, you are immediately transported into a lush, tropical paradise. There are locally sources wares for sale up front, and then the bbq in back. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered from the food truck and were served very quickly. The food was out of this world. Someone told us they were on Diners Driveins and Dives, so be sure to check that out as well. They have salads, wraps, bowls, and a ton is appetizers. The hawaiian beef was incredible. Definitely a spot i will be hitting up every time im in marathon.
Summary: Yes - go here and eat; I recommend Irie Island Eats. 6 of us dined here on the morning of 12/31/2025. We loved our meal and were not disappointed finally trying something new. The service and ambiance were top-notch and we will definitely be back to try new things again. There is a small space inside to eat, if you'd like. Most of the seating is outside but under cover of leaf and canopy. In the back, there are more options for dining, such as a taco food truck and a BBQ pit. If you're not sure what you want, go up to the counter and grab a menu. There's a board with the menu on it, behind the register, but if you can't see it just go grab a menu. You won't be in line long - the process of ordering and paying is fast. And the girl behind the counter is helpful if you have questions about the menu. Be mindful the food is served to you at your table (you get a number after you order and then the server finds you). Everything is served in "to go" boxes. The cutlery is sturdy plastic ware. Definitely not a deal breaker - just be aware. We can't wait to go back! Thank you, Irie Island Eats, for something fresh and new in Marathon!

I enjoyed my meal from here so much that we came back after leaving the Keys. I went with the barbecue chicken quesadilla. This needs to be a permanent menu item!! It was absolutely amazing. The service is friendly too. Bonus points for the cool islandy atmosphere. We did have to wait a bit for the food, but we learned that you can order online or call and place an order. Definitely add this stop to your trip down to the Keys. You won't regret it.
Everything about this place is so perfect! I call it the secret garden! We came here for an early dinner and were able to enjoy walking around the enchanting garden with roosters hanging around. The food truck in the back offers a daily-changing menu with absolutely delicious dishes, priced incredibly well. So kudos for that. The service is super friendly and the "island-laid -back" approach. We also shopped in the general store in the front which offers lots of essentials and gift items. This is one of my favorite places from day 1. Can't wait to return.
Excellent spot for breakfast! The outdoor seating area is beautiful and serene, with plenty of fans to keep the space cool and comfortable. There is a great variety of seating options, including chairs, sofas, and benches, and even toys to keep little ones entertained. The service was wonderful. We ordered at the counter, and they brought our food right out to our table. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had the berry acai bowl with peanut butter, and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito--both were absolutely spectacular. This was such a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast before a long day of driving.
Came here the other day with my bf and it was a great experience. We ordered a couple of wraps and although it took a little time because they were busy, it was worth it. The food is so good and flavorful and the weather outside was perfect for our lunch date. We stopped by the market area on our way out and got some goodies to take home. The coffee brownie was delicious. The lychee ice cream was good.
There are two parts to this restaurant. The first is a breakfast and lunch place with pastries and desserts. They also Jamaican hand pies and fresh smoothies. They also have vegan ice cream and fresh fruit. I wish I would have known about this before I arrived. I would have eaten there. Their website says nothing about it. The other part is outside where you can get bowls, tacos, and other things described on their website. My bowl was excellent. Plenty of food for two people.
Pretty cool spot on the island! The environment is laid back and pretty chill with really easy seating and outdoor island vibes. Amazing place for breakfast and coffee! I had the açaí bowl and so worth it.
Absolutely loved this place--everything was a 10/10 and such a true Keys experience! Sitting outside with chickens roaming around just added to the charm. I ordered the Floriditos, and honestly, it might have been an 11/10. The combination of meat, melty cheese, and sweet plantains, all dipped in chipotle aioli--sweet, savory, spicy--just WOW. The flavors were incredible! My boyfriend built his own bowl with cilantro noodles, tropical style, and pineapple mojo chicken. He couldn't stop raving about how good it was. The staff was also super friendly and patient with us as first-timers. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in the Keys!

We've been to Key West and have eaten at Blue Heaven so when I read reviews of this place I thought it seemed like it could have a similar vibe. We got there early morning and there was only one other couple there. We walked around to check out the place before we made our way to the counter to order. They were busy cleaning tables and getting everything ready outside. It was fun to walk around the almost jungle like atmosphere. A couple chickens were walking around too. They have fun tic tac toe boards as several of the tables that can entertain you while you wait for your food to be delivered. We ordered and found a seat at a large table in the back section near the restroom. None of us were certain what we were ordering but I think everyone was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered to our table. I had two baked eggs with chorizo and mozzarella, a hashbrown and a slice of their "famous" coco bread. The eggs were served in two individual foil tins and were delicious. It was almost like a poached egg. You get your choice of two toppings from several options. The bread comes toasted. It wasn't bad but I didn't think it was anything overly special. The hasbrown was almost baked like a casserole and it was a great accompaniment for the eggs. My friend ordered their mango pancakes and she loved it. My husband also ordered a breakfast with a bit of everything and it had a pancake too. He said it was his favorite thing. It also looks like it was baked in a tin and the turned out. It's super thick and very cake like looking. They both said it was light and delicious. Everyone that got the bacon including myself enjoyed it. When I was trying to pick between the sausage or bacon option the gal taking my order said both were good but that they cut their own bacon so I had to try it. It definitely wasn't your typical breakfast bacon! Everyone enjoyed their food and some of us even had some leftovers to bring home for the next day. The beauty of that was the food is served in a to go container so taking it home was effortless. We would definitely come back. I'd like to try some of the trucks in the back at lunch for the fish tacos. Maybe next time. read more
On our drive down to key west stumbled upon this place. It is very old Florida with outside seating and lots to chickens but a charming spot nonetheless. I got the shrimp bowl and my husband got the tacos. Both were super flavorful and delicious! read more

Two restaurants in one. On one side, açaí bowls and breakfast items. On the other side, Caribbean island fare. We loved the Rasta wraps and the coconut rice the most. Everything was very flavorful. It feels like you are eating in a garden. read more

As someone that loves Hawaii, I loved this place since the minute I arrived. It is all chill island vibes, such a hidden gem! The seating is casual and comfortable, perfect for relaxing, and the staff very friendly. Their food was also very tasty and there's options to shop around for souvenirs. What a treasure to find this spot on the drive to Key West (thank you, Yelpers!). We had a delicious lunch in comfortable outdoor seating. Order at the counter then wait for your name to be called -- easy as that. The "bowls" are generous in size -- I had the "tropical" style with coconut rice ($14) and key lime mahi mahi ($5 upcharge). Everything was fresh and delicious. Recommend and will be back! read more

A really cool spot to dine in Marathon! My family and I stopped in for dinner this past weekend for dinner and had a really nice experience. The garden is lush and features a little market with local goods and many tables/patio couches to dine at. I had the "So Flo Salad" with shrimp and it was delectable! Everything was so fresh and delicious. There are many free range chickens wandering about the garden which is fun - they do try to scavenge what scraps they can so beware! My toddler loved seeing them though as well as playing with the toy bike and cart that are in the garden for kids! Recommend for anyone but it's a great place for families with young kids! read more

This place is so much fun! The environment is interesting, with lots of plants, free-roaming chickens, and a cool tiki vibe. They were baking bread that day, so the whole place smelled divine! The service was friendly and relatively quick, and the food was solid. We ordered from the all-day breakfast menu and were very pleased. The fresh eggs were prepared perfectly. The banana bread French toast was delicious and topped with plenty of fresh fruit. Updated: Tonight we had dinner here and it was EPIC. The flavors were outstanding and everything was clearly made with heart. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. read more

My Wife and I went for breakfast we both got the Irie breakfast plate. It was made fresh on the spot. The service was great and friendly. It's open table seating. There are plenty of fans to cool the heat. There is also a fresh fruit market and other items being sold. We are going back for dinner for sure. It's dog friendly and don't be scared of the chickens they won't bother you lol. read more
We loved it very open air easy going atmosphere. Chickens raised on land walk around freely and also have a coup in the back. I tried the Irie breakfast burrito with eggs, sausage, and onions. They give you some fresh fruits and 2 sauces that were both great in their own way. My wife had the kids soufflé pancake with bananas and coconut syrup. She loved it. Food came out quickly and they had hot sauces on the table if you wanted to kick it up a notch. Very fresh food being used in every dish. Staff was nice and explained some of the dishes to us when we had questions. read more

A little disappointed, I really wanted to love this place. We were really excited to come for breakfast but we won't returning. The waitress was very nice. The place is soooo cute! There is a "kids corner" so we really liked that it catered to those with children. The breakfast was not bad but you can tell that there was too much oil used when making the omelets. The entrees minus the breakfast burrito was served with coconut bread which we truly liked. I think the most disappointing part was the coffees. We ordered a double espresso and a double latte but both tasted like drip coffee. Maybe it was a bad badge? Or too watered down? I'm not sure. As a parent, coffee is a key item to my breakfast so a little sad about that. read more

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and food. It feels like you are in a tropical paradise. The restaurant is out in the open and you are surrounded by beautiful trees and plants while you eat with plenty of shade. The food was so good and the portions are large. We ordered the floriditas, Hawaiian chicken, soflo salad with shrimp and the jerk chicken entree. I really liked the cilantro noodles. We loved all of our dishes. The bowls and tacos are only on the lunch menu. Dinner is a different menu. The restaurant is connected to two food trucks and a beautiful market. Amazing island vibes. read more

Food, Service and Ambiance. What can one say about this absolutely AMAZING restaurant. This is a must stop while driving to Key West, on your way home from Key west or staying in Marathon. The food portions are incredible and taste is fantastic. Highly Highly recommend this restaurant. Pics do not do this place justice. and the mini market with pastries, jellies, sauces etc. read more

We will be back! The food was fabulous - and huge portions! We loved the outdoor, tropical setting. The moment we walked in the staff explained the two food truck options so we could decide what to eat. We had an açaí bowl, tuna bowl, and jerk shrimp bowl Havana style. Just thinking about the bowl makes my mouth water! read more
