Just be careful everyone. I was told I needed a crown on my front tooth due to severe decay and possibly a root canal. Meanwhile, this tooth has never had any cavity in it and I have no issues with it which made me worry so I went for a second opinion and the new dentist I went to said there is absolutely nothing wrong with your tooth. I'm writing this on behalf of my elderly mother who does not speak English well. She visited this office for a consultation and was advised to have multiple teeth extracted. During that consultation, she was told the extractions would be covered under her insurance and that getting a temporary denture for $900 was optional. Because she has Medicaid and cannot afford that, she chose to wait for the permanent denture that Medicaid covers after the healing process. The temporary denture was clearly presented as a choice, not a requirement. Today, she returned for the scheduled extraction and followed every instruction, including taking the antibiotic one hour beforehand. However, when she informed Dr. Yang Fan that she did not want the temporary denture, the dentist became visibly upset. Then suddenly, the office claimed that the extractions would now cost $200 per tooth, even though they had previously stated that they were covered. Even more concerning, Dr. Fan then suggested that my mother should not remove the teeth at all, and instead to just proceed later with a permanent denture placed over the teeth that were originally recommended for extraction. To us, that advice made no sense, as the teeth were advised for removal in the first place, which strongly suggests they were not in good condition. Recommending to leave them in simply because she declined an optional denture is extremely unprofessional and confusing. My mother recently had open-heart surgery earlier this year and moves slowly, yet Dr. Fan spoke to her in a rude, impatient tone and told her to "get up" from the chair, rushing her out of the room. She waited over an hour and took the antibiotic -- which should only be taken when necessary -- for no reason, because the dentist refused to treat her after she declined the optional denture. When I called the office to clarify what happened, I was placed on hold for 7-10 minutes with no explanation, no communication, and no attempt to help. This office showed a complete lack of compassion, professionalism, and medical ethics, especially toward an elderly patient with a language barrier and a serious recent health condition. No patient should be denied necessary dental treatment or pressured financially simply for declining an optional upgrade. read more

Dentist started a root canal Knowing he was leaving. But they did took my almost 500.00 for a gingivitis treatment. Very unethical. I would not recome this place. Stay far away from this office. Thieves in dental clothing. I was a brand new first time patient and could have been a patient for life. During my first visit they charged me personally $35 for an "oral cancer screening". ?? I've never been charged for such a screening at any other dental office. It's a 10 second visual screening by the DDS. My dental insurance had recently changed so I assumed it was possible that the office thought or was aware that my insurance didn't cover this. I paid the $35 out of pocket. I immediately checked with my dental insurance company when I got home and they CONFIRMED that they do cover this screening. I went back to the office and requested my $35 be refunded and brought proof of coverage from my insurance website account. The women at the front desk was quite agitated with both my request and proof of coverage, stated "we haven't been paid for this claim yet" and "if we are we will mail you a check". . LIES,LIES,LIES. I left knowing I was scammed out of $35, would never receive a refund, and that they lied to me face to face. 5 months later...no refund My insurance coverage in fact paid out $65 to Dr. Amandeep for the screening. Don't even consider this office for your dental needs. Liars, scammers, thieves, and might I add that insurance fraud is a felony in NY State. Unbelievable read more

From a very loyal and long time customer today I discovered that attention to detail and customer service it's not something that this establishment can offer . I guess the new doctors or however is in charge need to reevaluate policies and procedures. Time to look for a new doctor .if you continue your practice with the deep cleaning up sale and over charge customers very soon you will have complaints with the better business bureau . Ok so I'm flipping pissed n writing this but it doesn't negate what happened. So I went to a new dentists office to get a cleaning. That's all, a cleaning !!! My dentist of 25 years decides to retire during Covid and the new dentist took over doesn't take my insurance. I finally get a new dentist after going through 3. 1 story worse than the next! Finally getting a cleaning. Made my appt with a gentleman who was half dead on the phone. Sounded like there was something wrong with him. He apologized for "getting confused sometimes ". That should have been my first clue. Come into the office at 9 am. Filled out forms, sat in the chair. Of course they need a complete set of X-rays $$. The assistance is taking my blood pressure?? Never had that before. Ok, so the machine keeps giving an error and some ridiculous numbers. Left wrist, right wrist, he asks me, do I have high bp or take meds? Noooo, no issue. I said take it the normal old fashioned way and he looked at me like I was an alien! He leaves the room, comes back and says Dr. Amandeep needs you to come back with medical clearance. I was like what???? No, sorry-I need this cleaning today, now! So the dr. Comes in and I told him no issues. He was extremely condescending saying welllll we will take X-rays and I can give you the exam $$ and will retake the bp. He looks in my mouth and right away- you need a couple of implants, you need, a cap $$$$. I said I have a dentist -I just need a cleaning! So after, he gives me some bs that I need a deep cleaning and my insurance has to approve it first, so I have to come back. I just wasted 1 1/2 hrs of my time. I took off the bib, and walked out. So no teeth cleaning. He won and I'm flipping out. Staff is no good, dentist Amandeep no good. Calling insurance to complain. He just literally robbed me. Reviews on Google and FB await. Made an appointment 6 months in advance for a cleaning. Previous visit I was absolutely not impressed with the dental hygienist's work. Her demeanor was unprofessional and rude , the cleaning was the fastest cleaning I have ever had and was not thorough. Day of my appointment I get a call to cancel because she called out. Rescheduled for over a month later. 20 minutes before this rescheduled visit she called me to let me know I needed medical clearance for a condition they were told about upon rescheduled had noted in my appointment and ok'ed! Was never told I needed medical clearance. When I questioned why I would need a medical clearance for a basic cleaning she had no answer, I then asked why would the person who reschedule me ok it and why would she call 20 minutes before a visit and she got very defensive. My guess is she had all intentions of cancelling the visit since it was probably the last one for the day. My husband and I will NOT be returning due to this particular dental hygienist and her sneaky and rude behavior. read more

This dental center run by crooks. He forced me to perform root canal in his center, even he was not capable. He estimated cost $1138 and insurance cost approximately $4100. I went to see Dr. David Browdy and he charged me $185 to perform best root canal. When I called Great Expression for crown, his assistant told me cost will be $983, while it was $180 . He charged my daughter $150 for filling. This man is a mugger, in the name of dentist. Never every go to see him. All staff members are looters and I believe they receives share after getting money from patient. Cleaner clean my teeth with horrible job and recommended for deep clean, which will cost by $500. When I asked him to clean my teeth, she refused to do proper job. Don't go in this office. read more

Terrible customer service! when I go to the office there is not one ounce of comfort or caring for anyone in that office. Constantly, making mistakes with my dental work. Last time I didn't want him to take X-rays, because just had done a CTScan, and because of so much radiation, I asked him not to take X-rays. He said if I don't do X-rays next time, i wouldn't be able to go there. Just like that, cold as ice and mean! Dr. Arneja is uncaring, cold and obnoxious. there is a 15 minute grace period for appointment, my appointment was for noon. I was running late because there was an accident on the highway and I was leaving from work. Mind you there is no parking near that office so finding street parking gets rough at times. That being said I was two min over the grace period because of the parking situation and they told me they can't see me anymore, that I'll need to reschedule. TWO MINUTES people AFTER I called them and said I was going to be running late. I just don't think it's fair. The dentist, Amandeep Arneja, threatened my wife that he will call child protective services because she did not do as he advised in the last visit to have a pediatric dentist see my son for a handful of small cavities. If it happened to be a life threatening situation, he should make that known but to threaten because he feels personally offended for not following his instructions is completely out of line. read more

This is hands down, the most disfunctional office, both medical and dental, that I have ever visited. They cancel appointments the day of, they bill incorrectly and then you cannot get anyone to fix anything, they call to reschedule almost every appointment, and most importantly, the work of the dentist(s) is sub-par. They make no priority to get you in for an appointment to fix work that did not hold up and/or was done incorrectly. Once Dr. Herman left it seems this office went down hill. The dental hygienist I do / did like; I thought she did great work and was always helpful. The unintelligent folks that work in the front on the phones and in billing are the types that will not work until 5:01pm if they are only supposed to work until 5:00pm. Typical these days, I suppose. Zara's dressing rooms are still not open because they cannot find workers - they should hold a job fair right at Levittown Great Expressions, as their current employees would be better off sequestered in the Zara stockroom rather than ruining what was two years ago, a decent dentist office. I would suggest this office for cleanings only, that you review your billing statements frequently and keep record of everything. If you require any dentistry work outside of annuals, be forewarned. read more

It was clear to me that she had an attitude and almost sounded like she was forced to work there or something. After a I told her to cancel the appointment, she just hung up on me.
