I mentioned I had pain in my back molar, so much so , that I can't chew on that side of my mouth without it being painful. What did they do? They said I needed to use a mouth guard. I have used this mouth guard for months, and yet the pain still occurs. They said that it should go away eventually. Guess what?? It didn't, and I still can't chew on that side of my mouth. Great Expression Dental is not good because they are money hungry dental services, beside what insurance paid them. They are asking for more money which was never mensch from the beginning. I paid for the cone scan $300, the speedy returned of my old dental $75.00, paid for the implant $884.00. now they are asking for more money for the implant on the bridge $2000.00. I have to go to another dentist just to get the implant put back in because it fall out before getting the bridge. Very bad service read more

The first dental office where the people are amazing throughout the place. They welcome you when you walk in. They are very thorough with explaining each procedure. They work fast and efficiently. Most importantly, I didn't feel any pain. Also, my kids loved their visit, and they are terrified of the dentist. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

I'm so glad I decided to switch dentist and come here. The staff is friendly. I had to get a cavity filled on the right side of my mouth. They did an excellent job. I had to get a cavity filled on the left side 2 years ago and I went somewhere else. I can tell the difference of how it feels. The old place has my teeth feeling weird. Great Expressions work feels great. The only thing I was slightly annoyed with is there no phone reception in the back rooms. I need music to distract me from the drilling. Unfortunately I didn't have music downloaded on my phone. I stream through Apple Music and it didn't work. Next time (god forbid) I'll be prepared. read more

Gosh it's really been a while since I actually found a dentist office that I feel truly cares about the health of your teeth. I swear my last dentist office would make up cavities just to bill my insurance and break my pockets. This was my first visit here but I already feel comfortable with the staff. The dentist and hygienist were very personable and warm. I feel like they don't mind going the extra mile for their patients. The front desk staff was helpful as well. Before they pushed a procedure down my throat. They checked wit my Insurance and she came into the room to break down the charges with me which I felt was very nice and I appreciated that. My last dentist office would've done whatever then told me my balance without even asking me. I wouldn't hesitate to have anyone I know come by here. I've already referred a few people because you just don't find good dental offices anymore. They're doing something right! read more

Great care was given from Theresa welcoming me and while doing my X-rays which made the beginning experience comfortable. Dawn did an awesome job with the cleaning and Dr Lee was very informative with the info given. It's hard to find a dentist you trust, so it was great to finally find one. I can't say enough about Mi Sun McNally. She is amazing. I needed a permanent bridge. It is a perfect fit. So comfortable. The staff is great. Buyer beware!! Always request a predetermination of cost for procedures. The offices are indulging in erroneous information. Patients are being told 'your insurance does not pay for the procedure ".. Therefore the patient must pay cash!!. Upon checking on several claims with my insurance, no predetermination was sent in. They are telling patients they need procedures that are not necessary or are not expedient. Beware of the fear they instill regarding procedures. I will not go back to any of their offices read more

I've been going here for years upon the recommendation of a colleague. They're absolutely awesome. Very flexible and always quite responsive to all my questions. I've never had to wait more than 2-3 minutes past my appointment time and many times I've arrived early and they've taken me early to get me out quicker. It's also conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Southern State Parkway which is a huge plus. read more

I have been going for years to Great Expressions. This was my first time to the New location. It was very nice and very comfortable. I only wait a few minutes before being taken to the back for service. The cleaning was painless and I was able to purchase a new water pick for cleaning. I was 'diagnosed' with 4 cavities, billed for antibiotics, and said I had to return to finish my cleaning. WTF? Shysters. If you want to be taken, go here. I'm filing complaints with any medical board that will listen. Don't get taken, don't go here. "Your insurance will only cover 1/2 your mouth at a time" that's the last thing I heard before I realized they were running a criminal enterprise. Dr Delutey is very nice but I haven't used him, so I can't say one way or another but warning about the rest of the practice. Every implant I had done there has failed, 6 implants. I have 4 implants from another dentist that are much older and rock solid so I believe this is poor work or materials. They are now billing me for work I didn't have done and dealing with their office to get it resolved is not going well. read more

I been going to this place for almost three years. The front desk staff are friendly and know you by your name. All the dentist are very patient and courteous! Most dental office would try to milk you for every penny you have but Great Expressions work with you and give you choices regarding your dental treatment. A couple of times I had my teeth removed and the dentist call me later that evening to check on me which not many dental offices will do that. One time their office had a power outage and they made an emergency appointment for me to go to their Oceanside location. It also helps that the West Hempstead location is close to my apartment too! read more

I love the staff here !!! Everyone knows me but my name and they sincerely care about my comfort. I have had such bad experience in th past with dentists that I had to be duck taped to the chair!! But not here. I love Dr. DELUTY AND ROCKETL they really are my heros. I have extremely bad anxiety when it comes to dentists in general, but just the goofy ness and the happy ways, and jokes Dr. Deluty goes about things he does to keep me from having a panic attack is just wonderfull.. some time he runs late but that's because he really takes his time to make sure ur happy and satisfied ... As For me he has gone above and byond what a normal dentist would do. He really makes it a point to get you out of pain and work with you to make sure that ur satisfied with your smile.. and if u have any concerns his staff is very helpful. There was even time where I had a serious tooth problem and pain and Dr. Deluty, came off his lunch breake to open the office and help me deal with my emergency. .. some people say there super man is bat man or spiderman or the hulk... my SUPER HERO'S ARE DR. DELUTY AND ROCKEL.!!** As soon as I call Diane or Annemarie always ask how I am doing and how they can help me out for the day. And if it's a tooth emergency the will work there magic to get me in the office and get it fixed ... When ever my friends asked for a kind and gentle dentist who will not rip u off and will tell u the truth of what really needs to be done first. I absolutely love Dr. Deluty!!! For that reason and that reason only was I willing to follow him as he migrated to this practice. He is the only dentist that I prefer to see since he has been my dentist for well over 10 years. One time I saw another dentist at this practice and I honestly felt as though he was trying to sell products to me. Thanks but I'm not here for that, I'll stick to Dr. Deluty. read more

Dr. Levine, the third dentist we have seen through this practice, is very good and we were very happy with his service. The turnover rate at this office has been extremely high and we have had three dentists in the past few years. The office on the other hand is a nightmare. The "manager" Ann Marie is rude and nasty. And don't bother trying to make an appointment for more than two people in your family on the same day as she "problem with that" and will yell at the the DR, the other receptionist or anyone else who tries to accommodate such an outlandish request for appointments. So if you have more than two people in your family who need to go to the dentist and you have lots of time to spare for appointments on multiple days then you may be able to get in, otherwise don't bother. This family of 5 is going to another "family friendly" dentist. read more

The office is in a state of chaos. There's no office manager. There was one. She quit. The other seasoned, front desk employee also quit, at the same time, oddly, to return to an old job. A new office manager was hired and left within weeks. Mousy, one of the two remaining front desk staffers, can't answer a simple status inquiry or do follow through. The other cannot understand despite multiple explanations that x-rays are included in the dental plan that the office offers. The dental assistant of Dr. Deluty orders him around. When I was last talking to him, she interrupted and told him to leave for her to finish the conversation. Apparently it did not occur to her that patients may not agree to her substituting as a dentist. He actually walked away! As a result, I unnecessarily subjected my - not intact - teeth to the putty system required for a night guard. She nixed that. He was going to offer an alternative to the hard acetate guard that came back from the lab which was not a fit. The time before his assistant ordered him, while he was drilling my tooth, to put the drill down and leave the building. Before that she ordered him back into the exam room to smooth out a crown. She interferes with his doctor-patient relationships. Although the stars are all for Dr. Deluty's dental skills, he should try to manage the assistant or push back when she speaks to him as if her child. His frustration gets vented at the patient.
