Big clean office Been to many dentists I felt the x-ray tech talked down to me, I am a 64 yr old woman. Because I had a heart attack and hip and shoulder replacements...10 years ago. When one has replacements or heart attack, one needs to be pre-medicated for 2 years post procedure. They wanted me to get pre-medicated or have the dentist speak with my doctor ...mind you it is about 5:30. I did BS and left I only went to them because I have Aflac dental and they take that The x-ray tech tried to calm me down but only annoyed me, more. She called me "honey" and tried to tap my shoulder. I told her don't touch The dentist was not going to be in,had an emergency I was going to see the hygienist. I took my daughter for braces and the experience with orthodontist was horrible. Receptionist very friendly and the place is very clean.

I went to this place for a cleaning. This practice came across as unprofessional and inaccurate in diagnosing and explaining dental problems and the cost: poor dental and patient communication. The fee schedules and procedures for potential dental work are not properly explained and documented. The costs are extremely high and unnecessary and inappropriate. I went to another professionally established dentist who cleaned my teeth and was told that I did not have the dental issues as proposed to me by National Dental. Patients may be exposed to inappropriate diagnosis and incur unnecessary dental expenses and dental work. read more

Chalk one up for Blue Cross for recommending this wonderful dental office. The location is convenient, spotless clean, updated and fitted with latest technology and interior decor/comfort. I took my 91yrd old mother who suffers from dementia here this week and that is no easy task. The dentist Dr. Tiffany Konklewski, the hygenist Judy Rial, and the front desk staff couldn't be more polite and kind to my mother. Such a horrible experience at this office! They didnt process things through insurance and told me i had to pay for things out of pocket! Save your money and go elsewhere! I was told i would get a call from a manager 5 days ago and still nothing! When i called my insurance, thry said that the office did not process the items i had done and i asked the office they said that the insurance would have denied it anyway! Very unprofessional! I decided to come here after being dissatisfied by my previous dentist that I've seen more than a dozen times and also because there seems to be a language barrier between us, including the staff. This place on the other hand, is amazing compared to them, corporate dentistry vs private practice. They offer everything here including pediatric, restorative and cosmetic dentistry as well as orthodontic care. Dr. Tiffany Konklewski, her assistant and Pam, the dental receptionist are truly wonderful. The assistant took x-rays of my teeth and always made sure that I was okay/ comfortable, Dr. K did my cleaning and cleaned my teeth thoroughly, making them look extra clean and super white afterwards. She also answered all my questions and provided me with a lot of useful tips and information that I needed to know and Pam was very on top of things and got back to me today as promised about my Invisalign retainers. I highly recommend this National Dental location for all your dental needs. read more

I had a very bad experience today at this clinic. Not only that the scheduled final step of 2 dental crown implant placement was not carried out today, I was accused of deleting my phone messages by the dental receptionist Noelle White who insisted that she left multiple phone messages telling me that they need to re-scan my missing teeth because the previous scan they did on me was rejected by the outside independent laboratory. I immediately showed her my cell phone and it has only one phone lag on May 22 from National dental of Williston Park when the lady told me on the phone that today's appointment will be pushed back 30 minutes later but nothing was mentioned about re-scanning. Instead of coming out clean and apologize that she forgot to inform me on the phone that the dental implants won't happen today, she said in my dental record, she wrote that she left several messages on my phone. The worst part here is that Noelle White made me look like a liar and she challenged me to write a bad review of the clinic. I just don't want to argue with her. After the re-scanning was done, all the employees were in hiding and only a newbie clerk was left in the reception desk to made my follow up appointment. Nothing was mentioned about the mistake they did by NOT informing me ahead of time that the final dental implant step is not going to happen today because the previous dental scan was rejected by the laboratory. Too bad I cannot discontinue the remaining dental service with this clinic because I have already FULLY paid more than $4500 for the 2 dental implants. . The dental clinic employee specifically Noelle White needs to take patient communication class and be re-oriented as to be courteous to patients if she wants to keep her job.. She doesn't know that I am a physician in practice for more than 35 years. Stay away from this clinic by all means read more

Off to a REALLY great start!!! BACKGROUND: My husband and I both have had different dentists in Manhattan for 20+ years. As new retirees, we needed a change that is closer to home now. Yesterday, we took a chance, walked into National Dental on 215 Hillside, Williston Park, NY. We were instantly welcomed by the front office team. Lauren and the other young ladies proved to be consummate professionals and quite personable too. Can you believe that as walk-ins, we were both given thorough consultations? I received x-rays that were taken by Uriel who is quite efficient and a real gem. My husband received a cleaning as well... He is REALLY VERY picky. Yet he immediately remarked that he experienced a most exceptional cleaning/sealant/flouride treatment from Shahida, the hygienist. Suffice to say that the Clinical Director, Dr. Tiffany Konklewski, handled us with great skill, and care too. Her leadership is apparent as it resonates throughout the team. Have been to many different dental offices over the years and this is by far one of the cleanest offices I have ever visited. Very modern office with very clean dental equipment. Decent sized parking lot and plenty of residential street parking nearby. The staff working at the front desk reception area are very courteous and even offer you free coffee (keurig cups) while you wait in the very large and comfortable waiting area. Dr. Tiffany Konklewski is very friendly and very professional and answers and addresses any dental related questions and concerns you may have. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a new dentist or don't currently have one. While I have read some negative reviews on this site, I think those reviewers have not had the experience of visiting a really bad dentist or have never been to a really filthy dental practice. It is quite refreshing to visit an dental office where you can feel so relaxed and actually look forward to visiting again in 6 months for your next cleaning. read more

I'm a complete coward when it comes to visit the dentist. I visit other places because I knew I have a lot of work to be done on my teeth, but I will go once and never come back, but for my luck I found national dental and Dr. K she is phenomenal, excellent, gentle and the staff in general are wonderful, they explain every process done and payments as well. As I recently changed insurance I wanted to find a place closer to home especially with a newborn usually waiting for me to come home so as I searched I found this place (thanks yelp) and saved it. I was able to come in before my insurance even officially added me for a free consultation. Because of course not having insurance things have to suddenly go wrong lol. Anyway they were extremely helpful in letting us set up a loan to pay until my insurance would pay us back (which they did, yay for insurance) anyway root canal was as good as could be (I mean are they ever fun? lol) been nothing but good experiences though and I'm very happy. Usually hate the dentist but I like this place plus it's nice being like 5 mins away and easy to park. Very high tech and now found a place for the family to go to (if they even need to because everyone seems to have wonderful teeth but me lol) anyway I'd definitely recommend this place. read more

I had two small fillings done today by Dr Konklewski and the whole experience was excellent. I know, crazy to say after getting your teeth drilled into! From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. The wait room is large and very clean and comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and quick. My wait time was minimal and the procedure was fast. In and out in less than 30 min. Everyone is super nice and puts you at ease. The procedural rooms are modern and clean. I'm thrilled to have found such a wonderful dental practice, but I hope I don't have to go too often! read more

STAY AWAY from this dentist! I received a postcard in the mail advertising Cleaning and X-rays for $99.00. After a preliminary exam, I was told I would need a deep cleaning and that cost was $600.00. The postcard did not specify there were different cleanings at different costs. It is a scam. After I said I didn't want the deep cleaning I was refused any cleaning. Suspicious. I had an appt with this place for tomorrow, my first time. First, I received a call a few days ago that the dentist I signed up to see was not available and if it would be ok to see another (it happens; I said ok and asked for their name). They said the person was on their team but I could not find them anywhere on the website or online as a dentist. Strange. Second, a person called again the day before my visit to ask for my Provider phone # to see if the office accepts my insurance; huh? How could you not know what insurances you accept? I give it to them anyway and never get a call back; so, I called them. The receptionist said, "yes, your insurance is active." Excuse me? Of course it is. Is that the real reason to call my insurance ahead of time to see if I could pay for the visit? I cancelled. I do not want anyone working on my mouth that I don't trust or may pre-judge a patient before a visit. read more

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. From the mediocre teeth cleaning, the X-ray they gave me without protection to the way they handle billing this place is a nightmare. They will tell you everything is covered by your insurance, then later give you a hefty bill for a procedure you would not have received otherwise. Which is what happened to me. I received invisalign from this practice and was told by their practice my portion would be $0. Six months later, they send me a bill for $1,500 because of a mistake their end. Mind you, they made the same mistake for my entire family ( for other procedures they needed)! It was not until I got corporate involved, they agreed to absolve the payment of $1,500. I continued going to the practice simply due to convince and nothing more since their service was mediocre at best. I've had much better but unfortunately my previous dentist died. A few months after agreeing to absolve the charge they sent my bill to a collection agency for $800 for the same issue they then claimed to have taken care of. This practice is a joke and i would not recommend anyone coming here. Avoid the nightmare and unprofessionalism its not worth it. read more

I met with Dr J. Fox for a free consult, and his explanations of his planned treatment were both enlightening and down to earth- allowing me to understand how he would proceed. I know I am a very difficult case with numerous health issues~ Sodjurens Syndrome, Severe Osteoporosis, COPD, Industrial asthma, Reactive Airway Disease, and M.C.S!!! Dr. Fox simplified everything~ and was lovely in his explanation of treatment. I found all the office members to be absolutely wonderful and exceptionally helpful efficient and kind. Dr. Fox is a most lovely person, and a promising dentist to treat my condition. He had a gentle bedside manner~ and he assured me that his decided procedure/ treatment would not only work ~but would absolutely not fail!
