Went in on a Wednesday afternoon looking for some vinyl flooring availability. Nicole Stewart was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, pointing out some new patterns and letting me know their general availability and delivery schedule. I took phone pics, showed my wife and called back, the warehouse was closed, but as promised she called first thing Thursday and let me know that we could squeeze an order on the Friday deliver. Paid over the phone and could not be more delighted with the experience. Thank you very much. For a pretty small order she did a fantastic job in information, communication, and follow-through! Our experience with Great Floors in Silverdale has been horrendous. The installers and products are fine but the customer service has been a bad joke, The first install date was missed and the return calls were non existent. When we ordered the flooring they tried to oversell us on the amount of flooring needed. I insisted on one less box and even then we were stuck with a full extra box of non-returnable flooring. To compound the situation they sent the wrong piece for transition from one room to the next. Now 45 days later we are still waiting for that piece. Horrible customer service. Had LVP installed on steps. Left a gap that could be seen on the bottom of the step because they didn't build the nose piece the right size. Suggested that I paint the wood gray. Had the manager come out to my home to see the issues he never followed up with me to see if I was satisfied with the install completion. Installer choose to finish the floor install when the remaining trim came in that the person missed when doing the quote. Received an additional bill for installers time to finish the floor install and material that they missed. It's all about the sales! read more

This has been the worst product and service company we've ever done business with. Ordered our flooring in August 2017 and due to manufacturing and shipping delays it will arrive in mid March. Instead of keeping us informed they've had the wholesale vender call because they can't seem to pick up the phone and call me. The manager wants to do his blame shifting, when all he really needs to do is keep us in the loop. I did not purchase the product from the wholesaler, it's Great floors responsibility to provide customer service and they have failed miserably. I will never do business with them again. At best 1 star. Wood floor installation was so bad, instead of matching the new expensive bamboo flooring to existing tile they installed a clunky 1" transition piece. I told them it was very unprofessional and looked amateurish they said "sorry", end of conversation. read more

I went in here yesterday not knowing what to expect and I was blown away. Great selection of many kinds of floorings. Ed, who helped me was an intelligent guy. Very kind and patient. Even though I told him I wasn't near/ready for some new hardwood, he sure as heck helped me thoroughly. He educated me on some good wood products and what to look for besides just the obvious - color. It was busy, but I felt like the sales people didn't rush any of us to move on to the next. I wish they did carry more products. But I understand their building isn't as big as Seattle. But certainly a GREAT store with GREAT people. Hence - GREAT FLOORS! read more

On 7 JULY of this summer, we ordered and paid in full for new carpet and padding installation. We agreed to remove furniture, old carpet and padding. This material was in stock, on hand. We were assured that all was in order for 3 August. By 9:30 AM today it became obvious that something was wrong. After contacting the store we were informed that we were not "on the schedule" and so would have to wait for install. This has been a scheduling challenge for us, with prior appointments etc. All was ready for today. They backed out and suggested next week, possibly Monday, but realistically it would not happen until Wednesday or Thursday. I really tried to work with them to resolve this problem. All that they offered was to pick-up the old material for disposal today, as originally planned, with absolutely no offer to cut expenses to offset storage/holding fees for new furniture due to arrive tomorrow. Great floors said to go ahead and accept delivery on schedule, and that their installers would move it whenever the install would occur. I really would rather not see our new sofa etc. sitting in the yard waiting for any length of time. The only excuse offered was that they had several customers with the same last name, and were confused! We feel this was poorly handled from the start and that we were repeatedly disrespected through-out today. Do not recommend this outfit for re-doing a floor for a dog house! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered tile on March 16 and was told it would be in the following Friday. My husband and I hesitated as we were on a very tight time line for project completion, and it was pretty obvious to the "salesman" that we were hesitant because he responded that he couldn't put the order in for earlier delivery since it was a weekend. We understood and accepted the Friday delivery date. Well, the following Friday when it was supposed to have been delivered, I had to call at 4:30 pm as we had not received a call stating the tile was in. You can imagine how pissed I was to discover that it had not even been put on the truck. It was only coming from Seattle so why it even took that long was beyond me! The "salesperson" responded that he "told us it 'might' be in by Friday". No, I think not. You said it would be in on Friday and even after we hesitated, you made no attempt to clarify that it 'might' be in on Friday. Not only that, but the "salesman" tried to blame me! He said "well, you didn't tell me you had to have by the weekend". Uh, first of all, if you are telling me it will be there on Friday, it should be there Friday. I shouldn't have to spell it out for you that I need it the day you tell me it will be there. Second, wow, to put the blame on me because of your incompetence ... how do you even still have a job? I asked him where it was coming from so I could just go pick it up myself. He snarkily said "there's no way you're getting that on a Friday at 4:30". Uhm, had you called us earlier, we could have! Now, its not getting here until Tuesday, March 26. That is 10 days after we ordered it and 4 days after it was supposed to have been delivered. When I told him I wanted to talk to a manager about getting a refund so I could shop somewhere that actually cares about its customers, he told me I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. It hasn't even been stocked yet! Are you kidding me?!?!? So, today is the delivery day. When I spoke to the "salesman" on Friday, he told me the truck was scheduled for Monday night so the tile would be in by Tuesday. My husband went to pick it up and was told the tile wouldn't be there until later. Yet, no call to tell us the truck was going to be later ... He also said "oh, your wife said she wanted to cancel so I tried, I guess its a good thing since you still want it". My husband told him we never said we were going to cancel because we weren't going to pay a restocking fee and have to buy the tile somewhere else. Tile is finally there but we certainly will not be back. Its too bad too because this was the smallest part of our entire house remodel. Not to mention, we also have a rental that occasionally requires floor replacement. I'd rather drive out of county and do business with a place that cares about its customers than be blamed for late delivery and then told I would be charged a restocking fee for canceling an order that hadn't even been picked yet! Great Floors Silverdale, you lost a customer and I'll be sure to inform anyone I can of your terrible customer service. UPDATE: Just picked up the tile. They apparently cannot pack properly because some of the tiles were just thrown on top and one was chipped. My husband asked the guy if they always just throw the tile on top that is taken from the manufacturer's packaging and he replied with a smug "yup". no offer to refund for the chipped tile, no apology, no nothing. Talk about poor customer service. It wasn't even worth coming back to speak to a manager (because they are never there apparently) so, again, will NEVER do business with them again and will highly recommend against even our worst enemy doing business with these people. UPDATE 2: Now that we are ready to install the grout, which was also purchased at Great Floors, we notice they stuck a label to the bucket with our name and delivery date. The label indicates it was received the 21st ... coincidentally, this is the day the tile should have been "received" as well .... hmmm, so you can send the grout but not the tile on time? yeah, makes sense. And the icing on the cake? By them sticking the label to the bucket, it hid the directions and when you remove the label, the directions come off with the tape. So, now, we are already several days behind and now have to Google the grout directions. NOT ONE BIT OF GOOD FROM THIS HORRIFIC STORE! read more

We went in to price flooring to replace carpet in our house. After specifically telling the salesman that we didn't want more carpet, the first thing he does is take us to see samples of carpet. That's pretty much how our entire exchange went with the salesman. My husband and I both felt like he wasn't listening to us and we felt like his attitude was condescending. We checked out samples and when I took them back and showed the same guy what we liked, he met me at the door to take the samples and he never invited me in to get the quote. He said he'd call us. I specifically told him that I needed the hardwood for 15 stairs and 600 sq feet but he never wrote this down. The next day when he called he forgot about the stairs. After recalculating (sort of) the price to include the stairs, he said we were "easily looking at $8,000" for hardwood that was supposed to be $3.15/sq foot. I understand that installation on stairs isn't cheap but how is that possible? We don't trust this business based on the unprofessional service we received in just looking at samples and getting a quote! read more
