You go thru the main hotel entrance hall past the sunset terrace, and down the stairs, go to a table with a menu. It will take a bit for a server, so be warned and patient. The server was REALLY nice, and though she was swamped, she was courteous, which I appreciated. We ordered a red sangria and the ginger peppercorn old fashion and then the empanadas. The sangia was fine, not horrible, not great. The old fashion tasted like a regular old fashion. There was no ginger or peppercorn taste. The empanada came out. We cute them in half, thinking they were hot. The outside was a hard corn. But the middles when we went to bite in were frozen. Yuck! When we got the server, she did fix the issue by getting us new ones. Amd she apologized. The new ones were just as hard on the outside, but at least they were hot in the middle. They were fine, not worth the price. They are probably 80% sweet potatoes, which left 20% (if that) of small beef pieces. The green salsa that came with it was good. I know you are paying for the view, and I can understand that, but I cannot understand when I am paying these prices to have cold food and incorrect drinks.

Order a drink and people watch, or enjoy the Mountain View's. Drink slow- it's a little pricey for a cocktail

You can order at the great hall bar and eat/drink inside the lobby or outside on the terrace. The views of the mountains are incredible & the food and drinks are delicious! The charcuterie and wings were so delicious we had them 2-3 times during our stay for lunch. Warm crab dip is also another filling option to eat. For drinks the white Pinot Grigio is very refreshing for a sunny day and the red Syrah is warm & cozy for sunset or a late night drink. They have a special Makers Mark Whiskey made exclusively & only for Omni Grove Park Inn Resort. Pricey at $30 a glass but a special experience in an old fashioned. You can also order classic drinks not listed on the menu such as a Dirty Martini or a Bloody Mary with all the fixings. I highly recommend The Great Hall Bar for anyone visiting or staying at The Omni Resort!

We ended up at the bar because you needed a reservation at the restaurants for lunch- or which we didn't have. It actually worked out great because we were able to take our food and go sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous view! We ordered some things that were delicious - a grilled cheese (which I never order) three cheese, bacon, dill, tomato soup and a smashed burger- american cheese, LTO, burger sauce and pickle with the burger. We topped it off with a Blue Moon (beer) and a Kendall-Jackson, Chardonnay, Vintner's Reserve, California. The view was to die for. We had nice seats on the patio and a nice man asked if we wanted to sit under his umbrella with him since it was very hot. That was so nice and so appreciated. We talked to him for over an hour and exchanged numbers after. My husband and I would like to stay in touch! The bartenders who helped us was very nice and very friendly and that was a plus. Food was ready in 10 minutes which was great! And it was good too! It's worth a try especially if you want to sit outside the beautiful Omni Grove Park Inn.

Are the drinks expensive? Of course. But the view is just unbeatable and the interior is spectacular Craftsman. Largest fireplace in America - there are actual two- one wood, one gas. Totally worth it.

Just one of the amazing fireplaces in the Great Hall of the Grove Park Inn....with my great gal Becky enjoying it.

OMG....This place is huge and AMAZING. If you're looking for a view and relaxation this is the place to be. The 7 restaurants and bars along with breath taking mountain views and on top of that a 48000 square foot underground spa that allows absolutely no electronic devices is amazing. O... I almost forgot about the gold course and pool .... WOW. If you can't relax here you're just way too wound up and need chill lessons :)

Walking in the door, it feels like you step back in time and the attention to detail in the design is top notch. You order from the bar and the staff was friendly and inviting. In my opinion: I should patronize the business and tip the band if I like them, and the business that hired them should pay them. No? With that, I'd bookmarked Crow & Quill on my Asheville to-do list and walked over from our hotel, so we paid and proceeded to the bar. After grabbing our first round, we were fortunate to find great seats in the packed house. Thankfully, I enjoyed the "surprise band" and they added to our first experience (and our tab) at Crow & Quill. lol... Cheers!

Times Bar & Coffee Shop was easily one of our favorite stops in Asheville…read more We were visiting from Florida over the Fourth of July and stopped in for a couple of cocktails from the '90s-themed menu. Every recommendation was spot on--even the radish cocktail that I wasn't sure about at first! What really stood out was the hospitality. We spent some time chatting with who we believe were the owners, hearing the story behind the bar and talking about Asheville. Those conversations made the experience just as memorable as the drinks. If you happen to remember the two Florida ladies who stopped in for a bit, thank you for making us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Asheville. Highly recommend!

The space itself is incredibly cool, featuring exposed concrete, a massive back bar, a vintage print shop sign, and my personal favorite--a disco ball chandelier. The bartenders were so welcoming and fantastic to chat with during our visit. They were running a super fun '90s throwback menu while we were there. If it's still available when you drop in, definitely try the "Last Time Lover" and "Smells Like Green Spirit." The Last Time Lover even came with a nostalgic butterfly clip holding a Spice Girls photo! If you're a cocktail fan, I highly recommend this spot. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Asheville.
