A secret tiki bar hidden within a great brewery! This is a real deal tiki bar true to the classics but also with great inspired original drinks with an incredible selection of rum (the largest in all of NC according to the bartender!) It was done right and is a must hit stop for anyone in Asheville! Pros: amazing drinks, great rum selection, cool vibes Cons: not much! definitely have been to bars with larger selections of rums but this is mostly limited by the very restrictive NC liquor laws so it is as good as possible Would I go back? 100% we will be back next time we are in Asheville

BEST BAR IN ASHEVILLE!! I absolutely love this hidden gem! It is literally hidden behind the HiWire as a somewhat speakeasy (there is signage telling you where to go). Once inside you feel transported to another world. It is dark with intermittent rainstorms that feel like a better Rainforest Cafe. Drinks are awesome, and the space is pretty large. We had the place to ourselves on a Thursday night, it can get pretty packed on weekends though, as we snagged the only open table on a Saturday night. My only complaint is that ordering drinks at the bar can sometimes take a while if there's a rush or any kind of line. I will continue to return here! (I definitely recommend the Pina Colada!)

Such a fun place to be!! We've got a DJ, great music, lights, fun Santa theme and good drinks! The service was great and it had a fun pre new year vibe.

This is a bar behind a bar and it's great! After grabbing a brew in front, walk around the bar and you'll see neon lights. "Come to the light, Caroline." Walk in, it's dark, but lit up with all kinds of different lights. Occasionally there was even a "storm" of some sort playing over the speakers. Pretty cool vibe. I did not grab a drink this time, but they looked good. The vibe is dope and it's worth a try.

Super cool spot in downtown Asheville that I really enjoy. Love the different themes they have and that they tie the beachy theme into everything they do. Has a bit of a rainforest cafe vibe to it. Drink are a bit pricey but, very good. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service can be pretty lazy sometimes.

A hidden speakeasy bar inside of Hiwire brewing! The atmosphere is amazing and so are the drinks! I highly recommend this place.

Pretty cool hideaway. We made our way behind Hi-Wire's bar, through a dark hallway, and was surprised with this hidden gem. Not super crowded on a Saturday night but enough people to make you want to stay awhile. The service was great. All of the bartenders were helpful and friendly. The bar itself is pretty cool. The drinks were really good. Truth be told, I don't remember which drink we ordered but the bartender made it specifically to our liking (not too sweet, smoky, and on the strong side). Overall a cool spot to check out in Asheville.

We had a great time here for my bachelorette! All the drinks were delicious and the big fish bowl drinks were awesome. The best part was the decor and the AMAZING storm effects on the ceiling! I'm planning to bring my fiancé back so he can see them too. Only thing I'll say is the bartender got really annoyed after three members of my party asked him separately about the ingredients of a specific drink. I'm sure it was frustrating to repeat himself, but we didn't mean to annoy!

Located in the back of the brewery, you'll stumble through a door into a festive tiki bar you didn't even know existed before! We were walking along the sidewalk and happened to stumble upon this place. The room this speakeasy is in is incredible. They have a lot of festive drinks to choose from and put them in tropical drink ware that you can purchase. The staff is super nice and recommend specific drinks according to your taste of what you're in the mood for. I swear one drink is all you need, so the prices are exceptionally reasonable. They're definitely drinks that you sip, and can not chug. Heck, if you bring a big group of people you'll have one bowl of a drink to share from, decorated with flowers and plants. If you want an unforgettable experience in Asheville with a twist, this is 100% the place to visit.

This spot is perfect! It's literally a hidden gem with the coolest atmosphere. The drinks are amazing and so is the service! Two of the three of us are not big drinkers so we asked the bartenders for suggestions. I got the Puka Punch, which was cool and very tasty. They limit this drink to two per person because they are strong. My friend got something served in a unicorn.

This tiki bar/speak easy (get it? Tiki Easy.so clever) is tucked away behind the original Hi-wire brewing. Follow the neon lights & walk through the doors to be transported to a cool & kitschy bar with a laid back vibe. The decor is on point with fun lights & wallpaper. Every once in a while (twice while we were there), all the lights turned blue, thunder sounded over the speakers & an ocean wind blew in while lightning cracked. Then, the storm blew over & everything was calm & colorful again. The storm was a unique detail. Our drinks were smooth & refreshing & the garnish on my Puka punch was top notch with an orchid & umbrella. It was like being transported. Bartender was helpful & friendly, booths were comfy. We will definitely return on our next trip to Asheville.

I loved the slow jazzy playlist that reminded me of Masego and Samara Cyn...warm, soulful, and the perfect backdrop for chatting with friends over a drink. It has the makings of a great date spot, but it also feels welcoming for solo visitors. During my visit, someone was quietly watercolor painting in the corner, which perfectly captured the bar's laid-back, creative energy. We ordered the frozen Classic Margarita and the frozen Paloma. Both were clearly pre-batched. They were icy, refreshing, and served at the perfect temperature, but ultimately unremarkable. What really stands out here isn't the drinks, it's the ambiance, the friendly staff, and the beautifully curated décor. Just keep in mind that they don't serve food, so it's best to come for the atmosphere and cocktails rather than a full meal.

In my opinion: I should patronize the business and tip the band if I like them, and the business that hired them should pay them. No? With that, I'd bookmarked Crow & Quill on my Asheville to-do list and walked over from our hotel, so we paid and proceeded to the bar. After grabbing our first round, we were fortunate to find great seats in the packed house. The restaurant's decor is eccentric - lots of taxidermied wildlife, cookbooks, and (from our vantage point in the loft) giant jars of Duke's mayonnaise - and the food is worth going back for. I had the steak frites, my husband tried the pork chop Milanese, and we shared the marmalade tart. My filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the accompanying sauce was silky smooth and addictive. The fries were salty, crispy perfection. My husband gave his pork chop high marks as well. I tried a bit of the sweet pea salad served with it, and I was suddenly 4 years old, following my mom through the garden and eating more peas than I dropped into my little basket. Fresh, pure summer. The marmalade tart was a great way to end the meal. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet. One caveat: This may not be the place if you're looking for an evening of quiet conversation. The room's acoustics bounced every sound off of every wall, and the resulting cacophony made it hard to hear each other or our very kind and efficient server at times.
