Stopped in for lunch today and got the turkey sandwich and a latte. Both were excellent. The sandwich came on homemade sourdough bread and was a really good size. Super fresh, and flavorful. I would be nice if it came with a small handful of kettle chips or something. Prices overall for everything felt very reasonable, especially for the quality. They did a great job with the interior too. The space feels fresh, welcoming, and has a really nice atmosphere. I'm excited to have another great lunch and coffee spot in Boulder City and can already tell I'll be stopping in during the work week regularly. Nice little local bakery. Though at least based on what I saw they seem more like a cafe that sells baked goods rather than a full on bakery if that makes any sense. They didn't have much of a selection of sweets. I got a chocolate chip cookie (which are huge), a lemon bar, and a cinnamon roll. The cookie was legitimately very good 10/10, the lemon bar was almost more of a cake and only had a hint of lemon flavor (not bad, but probably a 6/10), and the cinnamon roll was a bit too doughy for me but was otherwise very good (7/10). read more

I'm a Boulder City resident so my view is through the lens of what places could be visited more than once or potential of. I'm able to put my tourist hat on when and if there is an opportunity to have an all encompassing experience. I'll let you know - As we sit and wait for the food I'm taking in all the things , it's nice and cool (a plus) and the chairs and tables are flimsy. Like shaky and how my womanly ass might break it .....Doesn't have lasting power to sit and use my laptop and work for any amount of time. The couch and chair might be but they are fabric and I had shorts on so there's an ick factor to that. Now, the food and menu. Limited. Unfocused. Confusing genre. We got 2 sandwiches. Turkey and an Italian or meat combo. Fresh, tasty and stand out bread !! It's the bakery aspect of this place - got it! Our bread was super soft - as it can be with fresh - but thinly sliced so the soggy, squash down factor onto the crispy and very outstanding lettuce and yummy tomatoes and spread - made it immediately gummy and mashed and lost its spring and texture immediately. So , where do we go from here ? Well, like I said I'm a resident , so lunch option to go here cuts in half as it's closed on Sunday and leaves only Saturday for me to go. If you are a tourist and come by here during the week stop in and ask for the bread to be toasted or sliced thicker - or you will have a messy and drippy time.... Next, if you live here and my final thoughts, it's not really a "bakery" to get cookies and croissants. Coffee I didn't try, I will next time. Hanging out with one friend to meet here is great. Just don't bring in your whole posse cuz there's not really room for all yall to sit. I appreciate locally owned. Yes, I will come back. What an adorable coffee shop! I stopped here on a Sunday, by chance. They just started opening on Sundays - lucky me! The decor is so warm and inviting. Very comfortable place to just hang out. The sweet treats look yummy and they have a dry ager for meat. Such a sweet spot! read more

This is our second time at BBB Bakery. Last week we stopped in on a Monday and got a chocolate chip cookie and a cinnamon roll, 10/10!! Very yummy!! We promised we'd be back this week. Good place for coffee but the baked goods left a bit to be desired. The chocolate chip Cookie was wonderful as well as the cinnamon roll (when available). The banana breads were lacking. I came in several times to try different items. The sourdough bread was wonderful, but is usually not ready or available almost each time I went. It was only available once for me to purchase after 9am. Many of the baked goods, including cinnamon rolls, weren't available when they opened. The sandwiches were great - The coffee was great and the service was absolutely wonderful. I am sure they are still working out the kinks but I would say if you're looking for a new cute coffee shop this is the place to go. read more

I really wanted to love BBB Bakery after seeing so many people absolutely RAVING about the sandwiches online, So when my BFF of 27 years came to visit I immediately suggested we go try it out but unfortunately, my experience just didn't match the hype. The topping selection felt very limited, and the sandwiches themselves were mediocre at best. There just wasn't much flavor--even the pickled onions fell flat. Our pickles were left off completely, and there wasn't any salt, pepper, oil, or anything else to really bring the sandwiches together. To make it worse, when we opened the boxes, the sandwiches had completely fallen apart and we literally had to reconstruct them before we could eat them. Not exactly what I expected at this price point. And honestly? I felt like the overall sandwich was pretty comparable to Subway. Which brings me to the price: $27 for 2 sandwich's with no chips and no drink is pretty steep. For the quality, presentation, selection, and what you actually receive, the price felt WAY off. Something else caught my attention while we were there. They were conducting an interview nearby, and I overheard the interviewer tell the applicant that he might be better suited for their other location because they offer more and have more business there and are offering more there. Obviously, that conversation wasn't directed at me, but hearing it did make the limited selection at the Boulder City location make a little more sense. I genuinely love supporting local Boulder City businesses and hope they succeed, but supporting local doesn't mean reviews shouldn't be honest. If I'm spending nearly $30 on a sandwich alone, I expect the quality, flavor, presentation, and overall experience to reflect that price. Maybe we caught them on an off day, and I'd be willing to give them another try. But based solely on my actual experience, the sandwiches simply didn't live up to the hype--or the price. read more

What is going on with this Cafe ever time my sister and I go there it's closed at 12:30, 1:00 right at lunch time. But there are signs posted that say they are open 7:00 to 5:00. If they are going to be closed at that time why don't they put a sign up that's has there actual hours. So we don't waste our time. read more

We recently stopped in and tried the chicken pesto sandwich made by Alyssa! It uses their in house fresh baked sourdough bread super yummy! We also tried the pistachio latte and got super lucky with fresh Nutella croissants! Everybody is really nice and friendly. read more

I first discovered this bakery while visiting a nearby eye doctor. They had a beautiful large sourdough loaf for around $10, so I picked one up and we really enjoyed it. A few days later, I returned to buy another loaf and some treats for an upcoming vacation. This time, the sourdough loaf was noticeably smaller than the first one I purchased, but I bought it anyway and had it sliced. The bread was still good, although the slices were thinner than I would expect for an artisan loaf. I also purchased two cookies--a peanut butter and a Snickerdoodle. Both were large and looked soft and delicious. Unfortunately, the peanut butter cookie was very hard, which was disappointing. I've since learned that this may be typical for that particular cookie. The Snickerdoodle was softer, but despite having six people on our vacation, neither cookie was finished. We also tried the Chocolate Lava Banana Bread, which my husband selected. Unfortunately, I found it dry and not particularly flavorful, and it also went unfinished. I later returned hoping to find the larger sourdough loaf again, but only the smaller size was available. Even so, I purchased another because the bread itself is quite good. During that visit, I also ordered the turkey sandwich. The house-made Dijon mustard dressing was excellent, and combined with the pickled onions, it gave the sandwich great flavor. However, my sandwich did not include the cranberry listed on the menu, and the amount of turkey was surprisingly small--essentially one folded slice. While the sandwich costs slightly less than a similar offering from another local deli, that competitor includes significantly more meat and a side dish. Overall, the sourdough bread is the standout item for me and the main reason I've returned multiple times. However, the inconsistency in loaf size and some disappointing bakery items and sandwich portions make the overall experience a bit mixed. I know they are new and probably still figuring things out, so I may try again in the future. read more

The coffee drinks and the fresh bread are good, but what puts it off for me is the smell of the meat. It's a baker and should smell like fresh bread but instead the meat smell is dominant. The service is great, but will not go agin due to the smell of aged meat. read more

Banana bread is not all that. Bland! Southwest diner's is 10x better. But worse was how rude the owner was. We showed up on Memorial Day. Sign on door said "pull hard door sticks" so we did. Owner behind door in a rude loud sarcastic tone said "WE ARE CLOSED!! Nice try pulling on the door though". We didn't pull that hard I mean we are seniors. Wow!
