This place is very expensive and the bread is okay, not great. A loaf of the Cheddar Garlic Bread is $10.95 and it doesn't have a ton of cheddar nor does it have a strong garlic flavor. I've found better cheese bread for less at Holiday Market in Canton and East Detroit Bakery on the other side of town in Eastpointe has some of the best cheese jalapeño bread in the metro area. Even Zingermann's in Ann Arbor, although expensive, offers better artisanal quality bread for around the same price. After buying such an expensive loaf here, it motivated me to bake my own cheese bread at home which turned out more delicious and at only a fraction of the price.

I was enjoying a beautiful day in downtown Northville when I wandered into this bakery. It had been a few years since my last visit. Previously, I was disappointed with the quality of the Cheddar Garlic bread and started to use my bread machine more frequently - especially during COVID. The bakery is huge. Along one side, Peet's coffee, sandwiches, and salads are served. Perpendicular to it, there are shelves loaded with a variety of bread. The location also sells cookies and muffins. As a huge fan of apple pies, in general, I was intrigued by the apple pie bread. In addition, I will always pick up a pepperoni roll, whenever it is available. Since it was after lunch and I still had not had anything all day, I dove into my purchases as soon as I exited. I took advantage of one of the empty patio tables under the eye-catching purple awning for an impromptu outdoor meal. The cheese had burst out of the mitten-shaped roll, still warm from the oven. I enjoyed the slight spiciness of the pepperoni and nuttiness of the cheese, as well as the soft, chewy bread. It was such a nice snack, in the cool afternoon sunshine. Later on in the evening, I sampled the apple pie bread. The loaf was filled with a ton of softened apples with gooey cinnamon. Immediately, I texted photos to my apple-pie loving family - it was that good. Correction: It was that spectacular. After a piece (okay, three), I froze the rest of the bread so that it would not be a temptation the rest of the evening. Service was friendly. Note: According to a staffer, fresh bread is only available on weekdays. Day-old bread is available on Saturdays, so plan accordingly.

Purchased the sourdough and cinnamon swirl and both were delicious. The sourdough is really good toasted. The cinnamon swirl is full of cinnamon and brown sugar! So so so good! There are 4-6 15-minute designated parking spots in the back lot.

The apple pie bread is insane- amazing

If it's the season, drive here simply for the $10 apple pie bread! It's insane- like just amazing and I have no idea how they make it turn out like this.'! (See pic). Literally like apple pie inside of the bread. I also love the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and pepperoni bread and spinach/feta cheese bread but the apple bread is crazy good.

This is the pizza rolls I've heard so much about? Seriously? If I had a pizza with 3 Pepperoni and a dash of cheese then they nailed it.

Pizza roll was garbage. There were maybe 5 pepperoni in it. Seriously? These are the pizza rolls I've heard people rave about? No. Their cheddar garlic bread is to die for but after this pizza roll thing, I'm not really sure I want to come back. $5.75 for a hollow loaf of flavored bread. What a disappointment. Staff is friendly enough. They need a sign for where their cream and sugar is. I don't drink coffee but my friend felt silly looking all over for it.

We weren't 100% sure about the parking but the friendly staff let us know that parking in the lot where the store front is located, is okay. The store is more spacious and offers quite a bit of drinks and snacks. We ordered better than sierra- which is now my favorite, and muffalata. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious! You can tell the quality of the bread, meat, and sides are far better than other sandwiche shops. You do pay for the quality but think it's absolutely worth it. We also got a side of tuna pasta salad that was pretty good! I wish they added a bit more celery but could see this going great with crackers.

They have a menu board with multiple options listed. You order at the stand at the back of the store, and then our food was brought out to us even though we had ordered it to go. I am not sure if that is always the process- I was expecting to go to the counter to pick it up myself so that was a nice surprise! We ordered our sandwiches to go even though we were dining in as we knew we would be taking home leftovers. The seating area inside is no frills. They have less than 10 tables inside, and when we were leaving all of them were full with people waiting for seats. They did appear to have 2 tables outside but they were not being used as it was raining. They did have a carafe full of ice water that was self serve by the door, and they had large cups available which I appreciated! My eyes were immediately drawn to the Spicy Chicken Caesar and the Napa Club. Since this was my first time I ordered both and planned to share half of each sandwich. When I opened the Spicy Chicken Caesar I was surprised by the appearance of it. I had expected a lot more lettuce inside. It looked more like chicken salad rather than salad with chicken. The flavor was good and it was not too spicy! The focaccia was very soft. The Napa Club had great flavor to it, but when I was eating it I could really tell that there was avocado inside of it. The predominant flavor was the garlic and herb aioli. I did feel the chicken was a touch on the dry side. Overall, my experience and food were good; however, I am not sure I agree with the rave reviews. I would return in the future and would love to try some of their other meats aside from chicken, and their pasta salad also looked nice. The service was friendly and I feel like the price was fair. It's a nice addition to downtown Farmington!

I mean, some have shredded cheese on them. I could have just brought my own and asked for a discount. The quality is overall great, however. Amazing clubs, average subs, good chili, amazing coleslaw, deeply disappointing salads. It's hit and miss, but nothing is actively bad. Service is okay. Given that this place is only open for a sliver of time every day I'd expect it to be a little more functional and friendly. Seems scrappy and panicked, even when there's only a few customers. No online ordering, but things are made pretty quickly. Definitely call ahead if you can't wait. You'll be there 5+ minutes per customer ahead of you. Everyone feels like they just started working there, but do well enough. The location is ideal for being in a downtown area. Parking lot just outside, and more spots on the nearby parallel street. Plenty of seating. Cool business card holder in front. Decor is to be hoped for, though. Low brow toxic positivity and sexism isn't my jam, but to each their own. It's a place you'd never know about unless you drove by it or saw it recommended somewhere because people have almost never talked about it. The sandwiches range from unappetizing to great. Plenty of types to choose from and some unique options. Nothing nearly as groundbreaking as the theming implies, but far more interesting and quality than many other sandwich and sub places. Cranberry sauce on a sandwich was not invented here, but you won't find it anywhere else in the area. The salads used to be cold and unimpressive, but they've actually improved significantly. The chicken is bad and basically inedible, but that's true at almost every place of this caliber. For a few bucks more you get something way better and more appetizing than what you could at a Subway or Jimmy Johns. It's a step or two above Panera Bread. The shop is very spacious and large with a lot of cool decor and arrangements, but with the hours you'd never come here to eat in. They used to be open on Saturdays (and would sometimes hang up on you) but have cut their narrow times to basically nothing. Carryouts couldn't be more convenient.
