First time there. My twin sister and I decided to go because it was "Twins diner". We got Crab Cakes with pouched eggs on English muffins with Hollandaise sauce. It was ok but the crab cakes seemed like they were from a box not homemade (didn't taste or have that much crab in it) The sausage gravy and biscuits were SPOT ON. Loved it. The service was OUTSTANDING. The pouched eggs were really good too. I recommend it and so does my twin!

    Oreo Pancakes are delicious!

Have passed this diner many times and it has always been busy, so the hubby and I finally decided to make it a point to stop in. They have parking in the front and more in the back. We were greeted and sat immediately upon coming in on a Saturday morning. It was fairly busy already around 8am. Prices are reasonable and aligned with other Coney Island / breakfast places. The Oreo pancakes were absolutely delicious and a must try! Didn't even need syrup. They cooked pieces of Oreo into their batter as well as on top with a drizzle sauce. Hubby got a scrambled egg platter with potatoes, which I tried and was delicious! The menu indicated they had Zingerman's bread. The food tasted very fresh and hot when served to us. It's a small diner with many booths. Service is very quick too! Definitely worth a stop if looking for a delicious breakfast spot! Can't wait to be back soon!

Great place for breakfast. Great service. Well heated. Very crowded but very efficient. I wanted tomatoes and fruits and omelet. But they did not have that. So I ordered omelet and fruit and white bread. The blue berry jam was home made!!! Very good jam!!! Thank you. Will come back.

My kitchen stove is down for repair so i thought it would be a good idea to go out for brunch. I chose the Burger Fresco for $12 and added fries for $2.50 with refillable coffee. The Fresco burger is with mushrooms and Swiss cheese, my FAVORITE style of burger. With some lettuce and tomato, it's a meal in itself. The coffee here is ALWAYS good. The burger and fries looked AMAZING when brought to my table. Cooked medium rare, just the way i ordered it. It was JUICY, TENDER and YUMMY! Fries were HOT and CRISPY on the outside, Tender on the inside. Service was FAST and courteous. Bathroom was IMMACULATE! It was a GREAT local diner experience. PAY CASH and get a discount!

The waitress waiting on me seems pleasant. The kitchen is rather narrow, not much space for more than one person, depth-wise. They have a really good variety of Delight flavored coffees: caramel macchiato, Irish crème, hazelnut and vanilla. They have fresh squeezed OJ. Ordered a green tea, turkey Reuben with both kraut and slaw, large Greek salad, feta on the side, hobo skillet, scrambled eggs and biscuit and a side of cinnamon raisin toast instead of pita bread. $45.05 I feel blessed that I use both sides of my brain. I can be technical, analytical, I can be creative, I am proficient with the English language. I am organized. I have good traits that go across both sides of my brain. The turkey Reuben is good, small, but the rye is still toasted and slightly crunchy. The cinnamon raisin toast is cinnamon, no raisin, it was so-so. I smothered it with cream cheese, made it more palatable. The Greek salad was ok. It's a bustling diner. The hobo skillet was good. Service is their strength. Every employee is friendly and helps each other out here.

I ordered the hobo skillet with their house made corned beef. It came with either a biscuit or side of toast so I chose toast. I know they are known for their Coney's but being a native Californian I could not quite get on board with the midwestern version of "chili" which is far more like a meat gravy. That being said, this is clearly a regional issue and thus if Coneys are your thing.. joes is definitely your place. On our second visit I opted for the corned beef on rye which was definitely more up my alley and what sort of 1/2 jew would I be if I didn't indulge in some rye toast from time to time. PSA Joes will be undergoing its second renovation so be sure to stop by for a new and improved experience next time you're in the area!

tldr; Fresh comfort food, forgettable service…read more It seems this place went through a rebrand since all their menus say, "Joseph's Brunch House". We came in on a Sunday morning, which is peak brunch energy, and the opening moments were... a bit confusing. It's apparently seat-yourself, which is fine, but there were no signs and no one behind the counter gave any direction. We ended up following another group's lead and seating ourselves. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. My corned beef skillet was hot and fresh, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice was on point. No real complaints there--though nothing especially memorable either. Service started off fine, but once the food arrived, it felt like they forgot we existed. By the time we left around 10:30 AM--when you'd expect things to still be busy--the place was mostly empty, but we still had to flag someone down for coffee refills and boxes. This place clearly wants to be the fancier brunch experience but still has some legwork to do. Tightening up service would take them to the next level. There was just something about the restaurant's energy that inspired us to try somewhere else for brunch next time.

I just happened to pass by today and remembered it. It's nothing fancy, just a good, solid local diner kind of place. Sometimes that's exactly what you need. The person who took care of our table was super attentive and really understood my requests. She made sure everything was done the way we wanted, and that always feels good, when someone truly listens and gets it right. The food was decent and prepared just the way we asked. Overall, a simple, satisfying experience. Definitely a reliable spot when you want something easy and comforting.

It's a popular hangout for the local HS students because it's always open. We made a breakfast stop here after I came off a red-eye flight. The parking lot was sparsely occupied which wasn't a surprise because of the early hour and wintry weather. A combination of booths on the edges and tables in the middle made up the main dining room to the right of the service counter. To the left was an auxiliary dining room for overflow at busy times. My friend and I sat at a corner booth and started looking at the two-page laminated menu. The font was rather small with no photos so the number of items was extensive. Breakfast and beverage offerings were listed on the front side. The back displayed the lunch and dinner choices that included nine entrees specifically for adults 62 years and older. I am not sure if they check ID to validate one's age. I wanted a little bit of savory and sweet for my meal. My selection was a Belgian Sampler that consisted of one round waffle, two eggs (sunny side up was my choice), one bacon strip, one sausage link, and one slice of ham. For $11.29, the amount of food on the plate was a good value. The problem was that the waffle was extremely dry. No amount of butter and syrup was going to save the overcooked dough. The service was also a bit spotty. I gave a 3.5 star rating for our visit to Zack's of Plymouth.
