Your consignment goods will get "lost/stolen" and you won't get paid! After consigning my brand new, never-worn Zimmermann dress with Great Labels for only one week, it mysteriously "disappeared". The staff confirmed it was not sold. This only came to light after I asked for the dress back and went to the store to retrieve it. Despite being legally liable for the item while it was in their possession, the owner/manager, Andrea, refuses to compensate me for the full value of the dress. This store is running a scam business, and Andrea's unethical practices are unacceptable. She is stealing from the consignors. As she said: "Otherwise I would not stay in business". She will not get away with this! read more

Disappointed doesn't even begin to explain. I went into this store last Saturday with a friend. She purchased over $200 worth of items and $100 for me. I found this awesome Dior belt for $289. I asked if they authenticate the belts as I want to confirm before purchasing. They said "No, we only authenticate the bags and shoes, but we can put this on hold until the boss comes Monday, and we can talk to her about it" so I provided both my name and telephone number expecting to hear from them on Monday. Monday rolls around, no call, so today (Tuesday) I picked up the phone to call and they said "this belt was sold on Sunday, we don't have information here about this belt for you". Not only was the woman I spoke to on the phone very rude about it but she had absolutely no sympathy for me. This is a consignment shop, so once it's gone, it's gone. If you're going to sell high designer clothing, you need to authenticate everything - not just shoes and bags. They had designer shirts, jackets, etc but none of it gets authenticated?! Seems very sketchy to me, and I will absolutely NOT be purchasing from this store again, and neither should you. Why spend the hundreds of dollars on potentially fake items if they aren't checking first. Poorly ran business with employees who clearly are mismanaged and/or don't care about their patrons. ** UPDATE ** I went on their IG to express this disappointment and warn other potential customers and they responded by deleting my comment and blocking me. Shows their level of professionalism. read more

I've consigned with Great Labels frequently over the last 10 yrs. Mostly good experiences but recently I endured an unfavorable one. It has to do with whoever is going thru your consignment items. There is a dark haired, overweight woman between 35-45. She is just not nice or respectful. She affects the classless attitude of thinking that being cold and removed conveys class. She just doesn't get it. People who consign their clothes can be pretty well off and just clearing out their closet of slightly worn and unworn items. We don't always need the extra funds necessarily but do like to be appreciated for stopping in to use this establishment to consign. Often times the item might not fit with a particular attendant's vision for Great Labels, which is ok. I think it's frequently a margin call as to what they want to make room in the store for. But respect and gratefulness is a must. Obviously, I had less than my normal positive experience with my latest consignment. read more
