This ACE Hardware location and the staff really make this location special. I've stopped in three times in the last two weeks and they've gone above and beyond to help me and give me helpful tips on the project that I'm working on. There advice and know how helped me get the right parts that I need to complete the jobs. This Ace location has everything you could ever need for your home-improvement projects. The isles are marked well and really helps shorten your time in the store. They have a nice parking lot with plenty of parking space. The inside is white glove clean and staffed well. I can recommend this Ace Hardware location with a 5 star rating. I would go out of my way to go here and give them my business. It honestly reminds me of s mom and pop old school location. My local Ace Hardware Store has been consistently dependable, friendly, and helpful whenever I'm looking for something, even if I'm not quite sure what it is. So when I am out and about and find that I need something, I usually check to see if there is an Ace Hardware nearby; and that's how I ended up in this one. We had just put a property under contract to buy and the owner only had one key. We needed at least one spare to put into a lock box hung on the door and drove over here to have one made. It was easy to find and as I went in I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. I asked to get a copy of the key made and was directed to where the machine was and quickly had the spare key made, paid for, and in my hand as I left the store...all in under five minutes. And the best part was the key they made for me fit and worked! As with my local Ace, they were helpful and friendly and quickly got me on my way. read more

My friend & I rented a carpet cleaner from Ace the other day and it was such a lovely experience all because of Sue! She was not only kind and personable but when the part we needed wasn't available, she wrote down our name & phone number to ensure when one came back in she could save it for us! To start I had Horrible service, came in with multiple coupons and was looking to buy salt in bulk. The young manager who looked to be about 20 was extremely rude and not helpful! Will never come back... he would not honor my coupon due to a small deal going on or offer to make it right. Update: manager called and made the situation right. I appreciate there willingness for feedback and to learn from mistakes! I will be returning. read more

Bait and Switch tactics and store manager is very unprofessional. bought items online Nov 2018 and went to store April 19 to see whats up with order. everything on back order. The items we bought were a great price but it seems they only did it to scam the customer. We canceled order and they would only give us store credit. I'm not buying anything else from Menards and they didn't have what i wanted. Customer service is a joke. they said you only get store credit if you return something after 90 days. I get that but we didnt reurn anything. we never got anything but they did have our money for 5 months. read more

Great local hardware store! Well-stocked with a surprising variety of items, including a full paint department, seasonal holiday decorations, and a special "Made in Michigan" section. Excellent customer service; you are always greeted with a "Hello" or "May I help you find something?" when you walk in the door. Staff is knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you find the right item. Returns, if necessary (twice I purchased the wrong size or type of product - once was a special order) are hassle-free. They even accepted Christmas tree lights the following year when half the string wouldn't light up. The staff at this store have also been very supportive during the current Coronavirus situation. They answer the phone promptly (no recordings), take orders by phone, check stock, suggest substitutes and place special orders for non-stocked items. Curbside pick-up is prompt and courteous.
