Checked out their Air Fryers, but they only had Phillips brands. 4 Phillips samples. One had crusty food and looked used even. This is a great store if you have one, money to spend, or two, are looking for a very specific cooking tool. We do sometimes need that specific tool or pan and can sometimes find it here. It is a really fun place to look otherwise, but hard to afford to shop on a regular basis. One child at home is really into baking and will spend ample time here finding the right items to go with her latest creation or project. She favors the holiday cake pans, especially the rabbit ones. The staff has always been nice and helpful. read more

This is by far the rudest customer service I've ever encountered! They seem inconvenienced when I need to ask a question. Never receive a "hi, how are you. Let me know if I can help". This goes for the two older women. The gentleman and younger woman are great! But I will drive out of my way to go to the Williams Sonoma in Novi. I spend a lot of money here, my family always buys my Christmas gifts here but I'm not putting up with their elitist attitude any longer. read more

What customer service should be... Let me just preface this by saying, "I love this store." There, that's out of the way. What is there not to like? Free samples on just about every food/beverage item they sell, high quality wares, excellent attention to customer service, the list goes. Simply put, this is what a retailer is supposed to be. They have the nicest selection of housewares, including pots and pans, stemware, dishes, etc. I'm literally like a kid in a candy store in here. Yep,it's expensive, but so worth it. I love my Dual Lit toaster from Williams Sonoma so much, it's ridiculous. It's a home cook's fantasy sprung to life. I can't resist picking up something for the kitchen if I stop in. Chances are, if I walk into this store, I will be leaving with at least one item. I can't help it. Their selection of spices, seasonings, teas, coffees, and chocolates is outstanding and they are not shy about giving out the free samples. Take as many as you like, they don't mind. My husband and I love their peppermint bark. It's the best anywhere, but definitely worth its weight in gold. This store is so attractively laid out, with such a nice selection and excellent customer service. If I need help, there is always someone there to answer a question about anything in stock and even what's out of stock. The service is beyond reproach. The staff really knows their stuff and it shows. They probably couldn't be more helpful if they tried. read more

I had a terrible experience with online ordering. I still haven't received my kitchen island 2 weeks after I was told I would. I tried to find one in-store, but most only have one floor model that they can't spare. The manager here (I feel terrible for having forgotten her name) went above and beyond trying to help. It was kind enough that she searched for stores with an excess of floor models that might be willing to sell a spare to me. She actually called me again a day later to tell me she'd been thinking on the problem after we spoke and found a store closing that would be willing to sell their floor model. Honestly, some of the best customer service I've ever received. read more

I have always been greeted warmly when walking into the store, and I always know that there will be a professional there to answer any oddball questions that I may have about any of their products. Andrea even gave me a complete knife rundown with prices, care, longevity, and even personal experiences with them when I was looking to buy a set for my home! I cannot speak for the company as a whole, as I have read horrendous things about some of the higher ups in this company, but these ladies who work at this location specifically have been nothing but kind and helpful always. Don't listen to anyone else, as for anyone who is leaving nasty negative reviews they must've come in with a sour attitude and caused problems for these people who are already having to work retail during the holidays and deal with menaces who won't listen to company policies that the store employees cannot change. read more

I was trying to receive a store credit for a gift I received. I didn't get a gift receipt. They told me can't do anything without a receipt. When the item says Williams Sonoma on it and when you are asking for a store credit. The associates can go look into it instead of denying it completely. Poor customer service. If being a kitchen gadgetry store wasn't enough to consistently draw me in, this store also offers unbelievably good customer service. I have had 2 fantastic experiences here but 1 really stands out. I burnt the bottom of my Le Creuset dutch oven (btw...if you don't have one, buy one now! worth every penny!) anyhoo...I took it in there just to see if there was some sort of lifetime guarantee on these suckers because they are pretty darn expensive. It was a long shot but before I pitched it, I wanted to check. Since WS was my point of purchase for this item, I went there. The wonderful-woman-who-could-be-my-kitchen-soulmate took the pan from my hands and tried to wash it out herself. She thought she could maybe do the trick. When nothing was coming off, she then took time out to take it in the back of the store to see if there were any other little magic potions (they keep these behind closed doors) that she could use to fix it. Unfortunately, it couldn't be saved but she did come back with a number to call for Le Creuset because she tried to call and it was after their normal business hours. Not only does this store carry fantastic products but they have great customer service and they also have a phenominal return policy. Shopping there is a must. read more

They provided me with a lot of helpful info which led me to make a decision. They were not pushy and were great even though I was indecisive. Finally decided on a Calphalon 15pc SharpIn set. In December of 2017, I was looking for some wine glasses for a Christmas gift for my wife, one of the store employee's directed me to the Riedel collection. They were a little expensive, but I purchased them. In February of 2018, only several weeks since my wife got them, one broke in the dishwasher. Right on the box Riedel says the glasses are dishwasher safe , and also can go through 1500 cycles. One of the glasses broke the first time thru. I made several attempts through Riedel's website to get some answers, or a replacement glass. Not one response from them. As with any business that treats customers that way, they got a poor review on Yelp. Once on Yelp, I discovered that I was one of many that have been treated with the same style of customer service. By putting a companies product on your shelves, you are supporting the way that company treats the people who purchase their products. I can no longer purchase goods from a store who sells products for companies like this. read more
