My fave brews thus far are two ales: - Snafu (Strong Ale) - The Donkey Calleth (Imperial IPA) They have a small popcorn machine for snacks (which is free) - but other than that, as far as I can tell - there are no other food options. Even though it rained towards the end of our stay, the indoor section and covered patio area is very nice! It was packed with families, people with dogs etc. There was also live music until 4 PM on Sunday. The live music was inside but it was great song selections and it wasn't too loud. And there were big screen TVs everywhere for watching all of the games! Perfect spot to hang out with family and friends drinking great beer and munching on comfort food!

The service was okay, as someone who has served Beer and Wine for almost 3 years, I totally understand. However the staff was pretty hard to work with. They would stand behind the counter, they don't make eye contact and they don't ask who's next or really know how to engage the customer. They don't seem to be interested in their own beer. At one point there were 7 employees behind the counter while there were 3 -5 people in line. They should have teamed up and taken care of all 3 - 5 people at once. Pro tip: one person can serve multiple people, you don't need 7 people behind the bar. Get them working, you have waaaaay too many employees and barely any of them know what IBU means. For the beer, if you're a person who uses Untappd, I gave the brewery a 3/5. The beers were okay and probably need a lot more time for research. Why is a pilsner extra hoppy? Powers only serves beer, but they do have a food truck rotation that comes through, so make sure to check their website before visiting to find out what's being served that day. The beer selection is decent and has something for everyone's taste. There is plenty of indoor seating and just as much outdoor seating, so you won't have to worry about standing up the whole time even when it's busy. Outside they have a Corn Hole setup and they also had a soccer ball you could kick around if you wanted to. To add to the outdoor ambiance, there was also a chicken coop that you could walk up to and look at. Also, if you're around during the evening, they might get the bonfires going! One of favorite parts about our visit was being able to enjoy my porter outside by the bonfire. All-in-all, it was a pleasant surprise and definitely worth a visit if you're ever out in Midland, VA or just won't to do something outside the city if you're in the DMV area.
