She asked all the important questions and provided me with key points of information that would be helpful for the move . She was also able to give me an approximate estimate regarding the timeframe and cost of the move. The day before the move, I was contacted for confirmation. Reed's provided my high-rise condominium with their Certificate Of Insurance . I was contacted by the crew 10 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know that they were on their way. Raz and Calvin arrived promptly at 8 am . They securely wrapped all my furniture and kyak and transported them to our new condo in a timely manner. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and service. I shared with the crew that growing up in Bronx NY my dad worked for a moving company so I know how hard they work on what can be a tiring and difficult job. Many thanks to Raz ,Calvin and Cambry of Reed's moving and storage .

They damaged the piano and immediately called them the day of the move after discovering the damage. I sent them pictures of the damage and have not heard from them in over a week. I would not hire them and certainly would never use them again. Their silence tells you about their integrity.

If you rent a mailbox from any entity other than the USPS you relinquish the ability to submit a change of address or mail forward. Most of these customers are not in town and will only find out when they start getting calls their mail has been "returned to sender." They will need to file a request with the USPS to hold their mail (online form submission is available) for pickup or delivery to another location and individually change addresses with senders. The Shipping Station has operated at the same location in Naples for over 35 years. During that time it has been bought and sold to various owners. The latest owners, Deborah B. White and Raymond Maluto of Debray Enterprises, LLC chose to close the business without notice to box holders or to the longtime employee who has ran the business for 20 years. Despite having several opportunities to sell the business, their decision to simply lock the doors has left many in town scrambling to secure their mail. It's disheartening to witness the demise of a long time business people have relied on for years and years. It's especially frustrating and puzzling to know the business could have been sold without any interruption of services. I understand they pulled the cancer card. I find this particularly distasteful for personal reasons. Again, they had no less than three opportunities to sell the business. They have promised refund checks for all unused months left on mailbox contracts. The movers failed to show on the first day they were expected, the second and then the third. They NEVER called me to let me know if they would ever arrive. On the fourth day, I looked for a new moving company and found one that arrived when predicted and who did an excellent job.

    When I originally booked the service, I was told pick up would be the 13th by someone named Chloe…read more Later, I was told it was not verified and would be the 13th or 14th by someone else named Kelli. During the week prior to moving, both Kelli and Chloe told me different days of when my day and time would be finalized. Everytime I called or attempted to contact them to finalize the day and time, it was ignored or I was told to try again the next day. On the 12th I attempted again, and was ignored by both. I called in and was told by someone else that my pick up would be the 13th from 8-10am and I would receive a call when they were an hour out. On September 13th, I made 18 different calls trying to figure out where my drivers were. They did not meet the 8-10 window and I was told 11-2. They did not meet that window either and I was told that no one could get a hold of them. No one knew where the drivers were which made me nervous. I called around 2:30 to cancel, but never received a call back from you or anyone to confirm. That was around the time my number was blocked. I cannot get through to the company. A "user busy" message appears on my phone each time I try. I Googled what it meant, and discovered that my number was blocked. Around 3PM, drivers showed up without any prior call as promised, which was very suspicious as this was stressed. I asked why I did not receive a call an hour before and they said they did not know they had to call me. They were in a UHaul which I questioned and did not have any company shirts on which I did not question but made me very nervous. I was told that they would be Jewish (which I do not care what background they are, but this is what I was told), and the ones that all showed up spoke Spanish. I questioned this and was told they were from Israel, but they did not speak Hebrew. This made me even more suspicious. They said my items were going to NJ first and then to another truck. This was never explained to me that my items would be transfered. Hearing all of this made me nervous about who these guys were, especially given everything that already occurred. I then was told that my price was going to go up by $8000 and I owed them $4000 in cash on the spot. I asked for verification that they work for the moving company, and they said they were a third party. I was never told a third party would be arriving. I asked for verification that they worked for a company, and they said they had no one to contact to confirm. At that point I called my dad who called the police on them because we could not verify employment and determined this was a scam. The head "mover" said he would call his boss. He called someone on the phone, made fun of the fact that I needed verification, and hung up. He said the guy would call me to confirm. It never came. I asked three more times, and he said he would call, and never did. I am still waiting for that call. I had no choice but to confirm that this had to be a scam Someone from the company called prior to the police arrival. I told her on the phone I wanted my stuff back in my apartment and my money returned. She said she would make sure that both of those happened. The movers refused to move my items back and threatened to leave them on the side of the road. I told them that I talked to the company who said they would make sure it happened, but the said they didn't know who that person was and did not work for her. At that point, the police and I decided that these people were fraud and did not work for the company. The police stepped in and the movers agreed to move my items back to my apartment but only if I paid the guy $800 directly in cash (Venmo). They did, but left my apartment a mess with garbage all over the floor such as water bottles, urine on the toilet that I had to clean up, and all of my boxes labeled fragile were crushed during transit or stacked under heavy items. I watched one guy drop my box of pictures down the garage ramp and another load up heavier items on top of labeled fragile boxes which crushed them. Ended up being $3000 worth of damage. They were also talking about me in Spanish in front of my face and calling me names such as "perra" (bitch), "puta" (bitch/whore/slut), and "maldita perra" (fucking bitch) because they probably figured I couldn't understand. In the end, I did not receive my services. I cannot the company any longer due to being blocked. I claim a violation to the Fair Practices Act since I was not treated fairly, fair dealing did not occur, and duties were not performed. The company blocked my number that day, so I can't even call to get my money back or discuss the issue. It has been over a month and nothing. So many this will get their attention. NEVER HIRE THEM. IT IS A SCAM!
