This place is all about the freshly grown herbs - there are planters upon planters of them lining the windows, and even more next to the kitchen. The open layout is complete with an open kitchen at the back, where I'm sure the food is just as fantastic as the rest of the venue. I love that they're using this space for fitness and wellness events too. I recently attended a yoga class here taught by Brendan Lentz of the Dharma Yoga Center. It was a small class, about 15 people total, and he introduced different poses suitable for the varying levels of the people there, as well as different breathing exercises. The 90-minute class ended with fruit bowls and freshly squeezed orange, grapefruit, and blood orange juice, plus some of Bouley's signature lemon pound cake! If I had the money (and an occasion to throw a party for), I'd definitely consider Bouley Botanical.
