10/10 would highly recommend!!! Today my boyfriend and I took our kids (ages 16, 14, 13, & 8) to the escape room. It was for our 16-year-old's birthday, so he got to pick which room. He chose The Quest and I felt like it was great for our family's first time. When we walked in, there was someone at the front to get us checked in. Since we signed the waivers online, we didn't have to worry about them at check in. We sat in the front lobby and waited for the room to be prepped. They had two tv monitors in the lobby that showed the different rooms and the leaderboards. Once they were ready for us, they had us put our belongings in a locker and then walked us to the hallway to watch a short video explaining the escape room and the rules. Afterwards, they took us to the room so we could begin. I won't give anything away, but all 6 of us had such a good time! We worked together and figured out the clues. We made it out of the escape room with just 6 minutes to spare, but we were so proud of ourselves. It was our first one and I felt like we did awesome. Once it was over, the door opened and there was someone there to direct us back to the lobby. They offered to give us $7 off each ticket if we purchased some in advance (they are good for a year). We didn't hesitate and bought 6 more tickets. After we got home, they emailed me with our stats. It was fun to see how long it took us and what badges we earned. I think we will definitely do more escape rooms in the future. Every single person in our group had so much fun! If you're thinking about doing an escape room, DO IT! read more

The room we were in was entirely too dark and the combination locks were such that turning one row of numbers frequently turned multiple rows at the same time making it extremely difficult to enter the number you wanted to try. I've done a lot of escape rooms in Phoenix. Some really good ones, some okay, and a few that were no good at all. The quality of the experience is definitely dependent on the business and on the staff. Was in town visiting and wanted to take family to do an escape room. It was their first so it had to be good! This location seemed to have the best ratings and boy did they live up to it. Clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff, immersive gameplay. The difficulty rating was spot on. Clues were tricky but not impossibly tricky. Mechanics were all sturdy and functional, written clues were all legible. (Crazy how many rooms I've done where that was not true). We decided to do a team building event here. We absolutely loved it! We did the zombie room and it was an awesome experience. Everything was very well thought of. It was dark, creepy and that zombie was freaking scary. I've never seen grown as men so scared and nervous. Haha! The goal itself was quite challenging. You really have to pay attention to clues and details. It was hard enough to figure out especially with the girl zombie getting to you. Everyone had their thinking cap on and at the same time giggling anticipating of getting bitten. We ended up only getting 2 of 4 keys to get out. I've been three times and I love it! A few notes however, no matter the time of year- the entire building is boiling hot. The most recent time I went was the only time we didn't escape in time. Later we found out that the final puzzle actually malfunctioned so that was a bummer, especially since the other half of our party was in another room that was able to escape. The customer service is amazing. The owner is such a nice guy. There's a female with brown shortish hair that's super awesome too. Definitely worth the money. read more

Excellent place for team building, our whole department went during the day and had the cabin all to ourselves, there were seven of us - all ages. Communication is key to escape in time. Quality set up, challenging puzzles, was actually pretty scared during some of it. I'll definitely go again, want to check out the Houdini room and the one with the zombies. Lockers are tiny and only hold a cell phone and wallet, don't bring in a big purse because it's not going to fit in the lockers provided. One holer restroom. Don't hesitate, Book an appointment with your family/friends now! We went though the "Houdini" room. It was such a blast to watch all of us scramble to find clues to unlock secret doors and boxes. We were sooooo close to finishing but ran out of time right before we found the last two clues. I work for a boarding school for teenage guys and we are always looking for fun activities to do with them. At first I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first experience in an escape room. Let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations!!! If the room can keep the boys I had with me entertained and engaged for an hour than it will do the same for almost anyone. One of the guys that was with me is from the east coast and he has been to a total of five room at multiple locations. He told me that this was the best staged/acted room he has been to. The attention to detail is incredible. I had a chance to meet the owner and he is a very down-to-earth guy that is very invested in his business. He has a background in haunted house development (which shows in the amount of realistic details in the rooms). We will definitely be going again in the future. My friends and i have been hearing about Escape Rooms, and how they are fun. So we wanted to try this place out. A group of 5 of us attempted the Houdini room. We start to look around and find multiple chests locked up, so we would move stuff around to find clues and search for keys. When we unlock chests and unlock more areas to explore, we start would feel like we are close to finishing. Next thing we know, our time is up, and we learned that there are still a lot more puzzles to solve. It was a blast doing the escape room. I love puzzles like this. It reminds me of the first two Resident Evil games, where you are stuck in a mansion filled with clues and puzzles, with backtracking to solve the puzzles. My friends and i want to come back to finish the Houdini Room and try the other rooms. read more

This was a blast! Went with my work as a team building activity. We did the Zombie room and didn't survive, but had A TON of fun working through the puzzles, finding clues, and even losing. I've done 2 of their rooms now and the Cabin was super fun and interesting and was the perfect level of difficulty. I recently did the Ghost Hotel and I thought that it was too hard to be fun. We only got halfway through and they showed us what we missed and there's no way we would've figured them out. We all agreed it was too hard to be enjoyable. I think they do put a lot into the rooms though with the decorating and various components involved. read more

Our party of 8 (4 siblings + spouses) had a very fun time. We failed to finish the last 5-10% of the puzzles but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff very nice. Front desk/check-in person explained everything clearly. We did the Zombie room so we had a helper with us, and a chained up zombie trying to get us. The helper gave just the right amount of hints. The room was a series of beautifully decorated rooms. We had 7 in our party. We had a wonderful time and we will come back for sure! read more

Awesome setup. I felt pretty confident as this was my first escape room and I didn't think it could be so hard. But after getting in and going I realized it wasn't just smarts but teamwork too. The room was tough but they helped guide you as much as you needed so you didn't fail, and only thanks to my wife did we ask for help. We have participated in several "other" escape rooms. My hopes were high with this one. The location is easy to find, the room was set up well, and there was a live actor in the room. We attempted the Houdini room and the actor was playing the role of his wife. She did a great job in the beginning but became a bit frazzled with our group. The clues she shared were a bit cryptic and more confusing than the traditional "man behind the mirror" who answers your direct questions with direct helps. Would we try this place again... probably not, given there are many choices out there. Our cup of tea is more the traditional type of escape room where you get 3 helps and the aid types answers out for you that you can review until solved. In the live actor version, it was hard to decrypt her clues and then remember them 45 minutes later when they were needed. Still... a fun evening with family and friends. I'm hooked on escape rooms. I've tried a few different companies and this one has been my favorite so far. I would highly recommend doing the cabin escape room. The actors do a great job at making the experience a lot of fun and helping the game move along. I wish there were longer escape rooms as 1 hour flies by really fast! One recommendation I would give to anyone who is doing this for the first time is to try and bring a big group of people you know to try and fill up the room. It's more fun that way. However, I've done this with my wife and a bunch of strangers too and it wasn't bad either. I'm looking forward to trying the new rooms that are currently being built. It was an awesome time today! We had a group of friends from work & decided to try this place out. (11 of us, so we had a room to ourselves) It was amazing! We were one key shy from getting out but still had an amazing time the whole time! The zombie was great! It make it more difficult, (thrilling) but the girl who played the zombie did an AMAZING job! She never broke character! The "caretaker" did a great job as well! They definitely have their roles down perfectly!! The staff was friendly and very helpful from when we called for details, walked in, and even in our way out! We are already planning our next event there... and we were just there this afternoon! This was our first time experiencing an escape room. We had a lot of fun! There were four people in my group and we were put with eight other couples which I wasn't sure about but it turned out to be fun and enjoyable. We did the Harry Houdini room which had a lot of clues and was quite challenging. The actress in our room was good at her job. She gave us very few clues (which is the point) and made us do the work.
