I think this is great for families. I got it mainly just for the outdoor things and skiing, but sadly Utah didn't get enough so now for me to be able to use it. I didn't realize the pass automatically renews for the next year, so make sure you put a reminder on your calendar unless you want to renew it. The customer support was great and lets you cancel your renewal if you haven't redeemed anything and it's been less than 60 days. For me it wasn't worth it because I use my free time for my outdoor hobbies, but its great if you are more of a city person. read more

Cowboy Quickshot: Little hard to find and a little empty but dang this place deserves more attention. Very original and unique experience, fun for a lil date night or a group outing. You get a lot of freedom to play whatever games you want and move at your own pace. I think the original quickshot is the most fun. Make sure to be patient when loading the wax pellets as you want to reduce the chance of a misfire. The facility was run down but the actual room was decent and well-planned. We took issue with the staff though. They hurried us out after we escaped in 30 minutes. When asked for a debrief, they refused, saying they needed to reset the room. They didn't offer to take our picture at the end even though they had a backdrop and props for it. They asked for a tip which I have never been solicited for in all my experience of doing escape rooms. The safety video should be re-thought; many people in our group found it to be cringey. For some reason we were admonished for using a cell phone as a flashlight in a dark space. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We booked the max of 10 people and they added an extra 2 people so we had 12 in a tiny room. Sooo overcrowded. Lame theming and bad puzzles mostly locks and so dark you couldn't see the combos. No flashlight or anything. Spent most of the time running around a desk being chased by the zombie and not really working on puzzles. If you got touched by the zombie you were out the rest of the hour just touching the wall and watching other people play. Was so stupid and boring. Workers very disorganized. They then charged a mandatory 10% tip at the end which they did not deserve. If it's mandatory it's no longer a tip just an extra surprise fees at the end. We did need a couple hints and we were lucky enough to escape the heist room with 24 seconds to spare! we have escape rooms all over the this was by far one of the worst experiences we have had. It just wasn't fun. The rooms seem tired and worn out. We're not that interesting. And the puzzles not linear so many at the same time and then you don't know what go to what puzzles. The worst part was at the game master when we had to ask for a clue, had to talk to somebody else and ate up a lot of our time and then finally when we got the clue, it was a long explanation and not easy to understand. I said they would've given us extra time except there was a behind us. But not the answer to give us extra time. The answer is to have the be efficient. It also didn't seem that they knew where we were in the game as we had to describe exactly what we were doing and what we had accomplished, but there's all the rooms. Would not recommend. read more

My coworkers and I did the Zombie on a Chain room. I would not recommend THIS room for people with high anxiety or who don't like scary things. However, the room and place was very immersive and fun. I also think our assistant and zombie did a great job at recognizing that I was more frightened than others in my party and needed a little less intensity. What a fun group activity! Admittedly, this was my first ever escape room...well as long as you don't count my office every day I clock in. Upon walking in, there were all kinds of games to keep us occupied while we were waiting for all the individuals in our party to arrive. My favorite game they had was Mad Gab. It was so funny to play with people and we all got a good laugh out of it. They also had Rubix cubes and different puzzles and knick knacks to keep people occupied. There was plenty of seating and I would say it created a much better environment than just sitting in a lobby waiting for everyone to arrive and get waivers signed. We were given clear instruction of the expectations of the escape room and then we got to work. Gosh, it was really tricky but a fun kind of tricky. There were things that were there to throw you off and things that were actual clues. The room was decorated well and I loved all the awesome themes that there were to choose from. The specific theme I got to participate in was the Money Heist. There were lots of colors involved, lots of nooks and crannies to sift through, and you had a walkie talkie in case you needed a hint. Unfortunately, we were not able to escape the escape room but that did not take the fun out of it. We got to take fun photos after we were done and it truly was an awesome experience! On a spontaneous evening, my friend and I decided to do an escape room. I've never done one before and was really excited to check it out. We walked over and found that they had an opening in 20 mins! We'd be joining a group which worked out since the minimum was 4 players. Before entering the room, you can place your personal belongings in a locked basket. One person in the party will keep this key. I won't give any secrets away, but I must say this was such a fun experience and I can't wait to do it again! Obviously with a different themed room. The one we went had a 15% escape rate and it was a challenge we were willing to take! Unfortunately, we were unable to escape as we got stuck in the last clue. We did The Reactor Room. Don't get me wrong, we still managed to have a lot of fun, but for $22/person, you would think they would at least get the room set up correctly before we entered. Not only did our moderator enter our room twice because 1. something was unlocked and 2. I also managed to find something they had lost with a previous group, but also, some of their mechanisms, like the final safe, didn't work correctly (at all). The room was pretty beat up too. Ceiling panels busted. Props taped up. Props that we're obviously once glued down, not glued down. Not something I'd expect for how much it cost. The moderator was great. He followed us just the right amount and gave us just enough direction that we didn't get lost from our objective. He was still enthusiastic even though he's been working there for over a year. The moderator made the apologies he could, but for how many snafus on the part of Getout, the customer service was severely lacking. My biggest problem was probably my first impression: the bathrooms. I used the toilet and had to scrub the seat clean myself. It had dried urine on it and the layer of dust indicated it hadn't been cleaned in days, if not weeks. My wife indicated the same in the ladies room (minus the dried urine.) The floors were clean though. read more

The staff was super accommodating to our group of 13 people. We split off into two teams since the rooms cap out at 10 people. Some of my friends failed to tell me that they had already done the Heist, but staff let us make a last minute change and switch over to the Egyptian Tomb room, which I really appreciated. The idea of competing against another team to make it out of an escape room definitely added to the thrill. But we didn't know that one staff member was going to be looking over both rooms. That caused some delays and mix-ups when we were trying to communicate and ask for clues with our guide. For example, when we would ask for clues, sometimes we'd get a delayed response because he was talking to the other room. At one point, we had to troubleshoot the walkie talkies because they were on the wrong channel. The room itself was confusing because there wasn't a sequence to the puzzles. Sometimes you found a bunch of clues at once and didn't know what to do first or next. Both groups were on the last puzzle before time ran out. But come to find, the Egyptian Tomb was the hardest room they had so that made us feel a little better. I think the difficulty of the room just required to think a little harder and be more creative. The fish lock was also giving us issues. There's a fin that covers the key hole but it wouldn't move. We thought the key wasn't fitting right until our guide gave us a hint later that we needed to keep working on it. We had to force it open in order to get it unlocked. That also took away a lot of our time. My impression of escape rooms was that you wouldn't need to use extra force on any of their props because you could break it. Our guide apologized for the small issues we had along the way, but admitted they're looking at making some changes to the room to improve the experience. He said it was late too (we finish around 11:15 p.m.) and it was his first time managing two rooms at once for the Egyptian Tomb, which I would ask them not to do again and assign two staff members to look over each room next time. I was disappointed with this experience, but I'd come back again to try some of their other rooms. read more

We opted for the Nuclear Reactor game and it as a blast! Very interactive, engaging, and will challenge every single team member. Best customer service I've ever had at an escape room and I've done about 60 at this point. I had credit from a room I did pre-pandemic (so over two years ago now) that they still honored. When we showed up, the game master, Amanda, didn't rush us and let us wait for our late friend even though it was the last room of the night. She was phenomenal. When it turned out I had already done the room we were scheduled for, she was willing to set up the other one for us on short notice. She did a superb job of nudging us without explicitly telling us solutions and we were able to solve what was a pleasantly difficult room. 10/10, would go again if the zombie room was open. This place is awesome. We did the heist room and had so much fun that we immediately paid for another room, the nuclear reactor room. All of the clues were challenging enough to stump you for a few minutes, but with enough collaboration, they were solvable. Becca was an awesome host, who didn't help us unless we absolutly needed it and only gave enough of a clue to help us along, leaving the joy of the AHA moments to us. She was super friendly, nice, and accommodating, and did a great job setting up both of the rooms for us. We will definitely be going back to try another room. read more

I did the Reactor Room with a group of 9 others and we managed to escape after 45 minutes using a number of clues. Overall the room is very well done with nice props and pleasant surprises, some of which I have not seen in any other escape room. While the room is not particularly big it did not feel too crowded even at maximum capacity. Puzzles are highly parallel so there is little downtime. Good balance of dexterity and logic puzzles. A few things for the owner to improve: the string puzzle did not work correctly- time to replace the prop with a new one. A bit more light would be nice. Finally, if you have a giant poster with German text on it, please spend the extra few $$ to have someone translate it properly. read more

We had 11 people and booked in advance for the Egyptian Tomb room. We all got there around 10 mins early to sign our lives away and we're happy to get a last call for the restrooms too. There were plenty of games and things to keep you occupied while waiting for your room. We got the run down in the hall about what we needed to do to get out of the room. They have baskets with locks that you're able to keep your stuff in which was nice and safe. We all went into the room and got to it. The story line was so cool and we were able to break off into diff groups within the room to solve all the clues. This room is no joke. It was quite difficult. There's no right or wrong in the series of the clues which made it a little harder that the other room I've done at a diff place. All in all we got out with 8 mins to spare and loved every minute of it. I want to go back to do others! I highly recommend it. read more

We were in the Heist room, the clues that were given to us never worked. We were not able to solve the room. When the worker came in to explain how to get the gold, he couldn't even open the locks or get the keys. There were clues left on a piece of paper from the group before us that were not supposed to be there. The worker even said "I can't get this door open" "the key must not be in there" "this lock doesn't work sometimes". Very frustrating to see that even the right combinations we had didn't work because the lock itself was broken. Very disappointed in my first Escape Room experience. read more
