This establishment in unorganized, dismissive ,rude, abusive and the new doctor exaggerates his qualifications ( halfway through my contract dr black retired and without notice a new, less qualified dr started treating me without my consent.). I experienced client abandonment as well, *without proper notice, or wrapping up my care in a safe way ( they literally led me to believe I was coming in multiple times to pick up a new set of retainers, just to privately cancel my contract , stating that I threatened to sue them). Dr Andrews was obviously defensive before he planned our meeting. This was only after years of being openly dismissed and having multiple mistakes made like ill fitting trays.. Paying these guys in full does not pull any respect, in fact its a good way to get your contact abruptly canceled ( they are very pushy about getting payment, even if treatment plan is behind.). Also be ware that treatment plan goals are not taken seriously or included in the contract/ terms of service, which only includes the payment dates and consequences for not paying. Edit as of 8/8/26~ Dr Black ortho is now attempting to condition the release of a prepaid, pre-made nightgaurd ( that they convinced me to buy upon signing the contract) ,under the conditions that I sign a " gag clause contract", which would prevent me from posting honest reviews. Not only is this unethical but is not even legal. And is proof they are paying to have their negative google reviews removed. $$$ Some of us cannot be bought, and you guys can keep that nightgaurd. If its anything like the last 6 months of trays, it probably doesn't fit anyway~ **** ( Dr Andrews lied to his receptionist and told her I refused the nightgaurd, as to get me to sign the gag clause).. I had multiple consultations on why I was still in pain and called this office and they had the audacity to tell me that I needed a referral to come back to see them instead of offering to get me in. And now after my third consultation in Greenville they referred me to a peridontist where I now have to pay $2500 to have skin grafting done where I had my wisdom tooth removed. Conveniently easy to find right next to the ODDITORIUM. The doctor seems to be up to date with modern procedures, explained various options out of which we picked one, and got an instant appointment to get to work. Very friendly and polite staff as well. Comfortable, simple, and easy to understand without leaving the nagging question "what the hell was that?" Price-wise what I expected, so also here no sudden surprises. At some point we needed an impromptu repair, and got immediately an appointment, since it was tiny no charge. This is the guy you want. Very grateful to have found this option.

I went to the Hendersonville office on Mon Aug 10, at 8am, and they were able to schedule a same-day appointment for 1:30pm! I had X-rays and a consultation, which confirmed I needed 2 teeth pulled, even though only one was causing pain. The dentist called in a prescription for antibiotics and said to start taking them immediately. I was scheduled for Thur Aug 13 at 8:20am to have both teeth removed. I called on Tuesday, because my gums and jaw were swollen. They called me later on Tuesday, to see if the pain and swelling was better. Wednesday, they called to check on me, and confirm my Thursday appointment. Everyone in the office made me feel cared for, and confident in the procedure. I had my teeth fragments removed in the Asheville office, under local anesthesia. (Needle to inject numbing medication, near the gums, and I was awake for the procedure). Julie assisted Dr. Hayes, and I felt calm, and as comfortable as I could be during the extraction. Before the procedure, I was given instructions about how to care for my mouth after the extraction. Julie went over them step by step, and I had paperwork with the instructions. The actual extraction took five minutes, since I only had fragments of broken teeth - root tips, as Dr. Hayes called them. The dentist called me at 4:30pm on Thursday, to check on me. Everyone was kind, caring, professional, and really made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I spoke to Melody, Tracy, and I can't remember who else. I forgot I needed a doctor's note for work, and was still in the parking lot. I called to ask if they could write a note for me, and Bailey brought the note out to my car! I highly recommend Rockcliff Oral Surgery. Their knowledge and level of care is excellent, from start to finish.

However, it was very expensive and to me as a patient, it seemed like the same scraping of my teeth with a metal instrument that I experienced at other dentists. In fact, I asked the hygienist why it was so expensive and as I recall she explained that they use special oxygenated air and water. These were the figures for my billing so others can decide if it is worth it to have the exact same experience as other dentists but with the holistic additions. My billing was as follows: Day one, comprehensive oral exam $163 plus panoramic x-rays $201 for total of $364. Two days later: Full mouth debridement eval $303 and periodontal scaling and root planning of 4 quarters for $1864 (minus $25 Care Credit) done over two visits. Total of evaluations $466 + x-rays $201 + $1839 perio deep cleaning = $2506. I chose not to continue.
