Have had their food before and it's always been excellent. I called ahead so the food would be ready when I arrived. The lady who answered the phone mumbled and I had to confirm I had called the right place. Food was ready when I arrived and the guy at the counter processed my payment. The ambiance in the restaurant is casual and the place was almost deserted even though it was around dinner time. Customers were coming in but getting their food to go. The star of the show was the crab rangoons as they were big and stuffed with the mixture. I git the same chicken and my daughter got the orange chicken. The chicken was good but the rice was bland and unappealing. I would eat here again but hope they do better with their rice next time. read more

We've tried Great Wall a handful of times. It's closer to our house than our favorite Chinese carryout place, so if we're feeling lazy, we might pick up from here. The Crab Rangoon is top notch - super creamy with lots of crab meat. It's gotta be the star of the menu. Everything else we've gotten from here, including egg rolls, chicken wings, beef lo menu, hot & spicy scallops, have all been kinda meh. My husband is a chicken wing connoisseur, and orders them from pretty much any restaurant that has them on the menu. He said the wings at Great Wall are super crispy with hard breading. The shrimp egg roll I had at our last visit tasted like chicken, so some of the fried items aren't that great. There are several other Chinese food options in the area that are better, in our opinion. read more

It's been a long time since we've ordered takeout from this restaurant. Maybe two years even!! But the nice thing is that it is still owned by the same family. The same young lady that takes your order when you call still has the same no nonsense, unfriendly tone. However, the food is consistently good! Delivery is always timely and they are always friendly!! ( They have even delivered our order to the backyard while we were in the hot tub!! Best Crab Rangoons I have ever had. They are an experience in themselves. The pork fried rice is also one of the best I have ever had. The entrees themselves are good, but nothing spectacular. The Rangoons and rice made the meal. Service was very fast, got a text when my order was ready, which was unexpected but very appreciated. Today we had crab rangoon, super stuffed and sooo good, fried dumplings, also super stuffed and very tasty. Egg drop and wonton soup were both spot on and delivered hot. We ordered garlic chicken and hunan chicken... both orders were exactly the same in look and taste... so maybe we ordered wrong and actually ordered the same thing from their perspective.... hard to finger point here but certainty didn't meet our expectations since everything looked and tasted the same. They sent me the wrong item. I called to ask for it to be corrected. THEY TOLD ME TO CALL DOORDASH AND FILE A COMPLAINT. Wow!!!! Honestly, I'd prefer not to waste my time filing a complaint. We've ordered delivery twice. Both times the food arrived within 30 minutes. Was exactly what we ordered, hot and had all the extras we needed as far as soy sauce, hot mustard and sweet chili sauce. The prices are similar to other Chinese take-out places and it's convenient when cooking isn't. I got an order the the dumpling appetiser too. I really liked them. This had to be some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. We would of enjoyed frozen Chun King better. The meat in the dishes was cubed and so little of it that it was barely chicken. All the vegetables looked like they had been dumped out of Sam's frozen veggie bags. I order a spicy dish that wasn't remotely spicy, my gf ordered a dish that was supposed to have a side item that was pathetic. This was not an "off night" experience, the food was nothing better than the cheapest buffet you'd ever find. Bland, almost no meat in the dishes, no spices and what was there was weirdly uniformly cubed in very small pieces. I have NO idea what the positive reviewers consider "good" food but this was not even close. read more

Every time I've been here they have served great food. If you dine in you get real plates and silverware, not plastic like other places. The crab rangoons are stuffed all the way, they don't serve sauce with them so you have to ask. Fried chicken is always crispy, and the chicken and broccoli is in tasty sauce. read more

Not only was the food some of the best I've ever tried (including some of the best from NY), the ordering process was very nice. No yelling and confusion on the phone. Perfect accuracy on my order. I ordered the Sweat and Sour Chicken based solely on the picture on their website. It looked juicy with lots of vegetables. What I got was a box full of fried chicken, no vegetables, some white rice to go with it, and a huge tub of red duck sauce. It was nothing like the picture and I ended up throwing it out. I liked the Crab Rangoons and Dumplings, but the Hot and Sour Soup was disappointing. Big fan of Chinese restaurants and have eaten at more than my share; this is my Favorite. They're small, ultra casual, almost a hole in the wall--with Spectacular food in plentiful portions. We have eaten around town as matter of convenience/variety and it appears that Great Wall has spoiled us over the past decade. Buffet is small and more like family style service (lunch only) but food taste and quality is superior to all the others. Family-owned, consistently fast and friendly. Excellent crab rangoon, fried dumplings are spectacular, great soup and appetizers.
