This was my first time trying Hunan beef. I found it to be a little gooey, like it needed a little more liquid. The taste was good, not too spicy but had a little kick. I got shrimp egg Foo young for my hubby but I only tried a bite without the shrimp. It was fine. The gravy was darker than I'm used to but tasted fine. I got 3 spring rolls because they had no vegetable or chicken egg rolls which is what I really wanted. There is no ambiance to report on. The service was OK they were a little snobby but fine. So I first tried here last week I ordered the bourbon chicken (not a fan) so I decided to give them another try I ordered The pork egg foo young combination platter along with an order of fried dumplings! Great choice! The egg foo young brought back memories when I was little and my mom would make it! Delicious and very flavorful! The service was efficient and straight to the point (when ordering make sure you provide your cellphone number bc that's how you'll know your order) and don't forget to tip! The atmosphere was okay but I believe it's mostly a take out restaurant but they do have seats & tables for you to eat in! Give them a try if you're ever in the need of an Asian food fix! We stopped going here long ago, but decided to try again. NOT happy with food but didnt go back for a refund, prob waste of time. The hot & sour soup was ok but was missing lots of ingrediants like the black fungus which is a main part of hot & sour soup. They loaded up with button mushrooms instead. And it wasnt close to hot, seasoning wise. The worse of all this trip was the szechuan beef. It was SWEET and no where close to hot seasoning. We have never had it like this before and have had it many times elsewhere. And finally, we were charged extra for fried rice that was plain and had nothing added as in most places. Customer service was good. Place was clean and everyone was wearing their masks will the customers at least. To begin with I was looking for some orange chicken and this one was the first one that came out on Yelp. And let me tell you it was great. Moreover the food was so good honestly loved the steamed rice and the orange chicken. Everything was freshly made and was so tasty. In addition the only bad thing is that no one was wearing a mask or gloves which is a huge deal. Not even the cashier was wearing any. The only thing they had was a big plastic see through barrier. I would give this place one star if I could. This food was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. They used brown sugar instead of Teriyaki sauce for my Teriyaki chicken, and I would know because I love brown sugar. The curry chicken was highlighter yellow and I could vomit just thinking of it. My noodles were just awful and the vegetables in them were raw and oddly uncooked. The chicken quality was so poor. The sweet n sour chicken sauce tasted like water with white sugar. Beijing Chinese is a great spot under the guise as a hole in the wall. When you walk into the place, it looks like your average Chinese joint in a strip mall. Don't let that stop you from trying out their food. I came here with my nieces when there was 6" of snow dumped on the city earlier that day. The phones were ringing off of the hook from delivery orders. The food came out quick and hot. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and it was delicious. My nieces ordered the bbq pork spare ribs, orange chicken, crab rangoon, and shrimp with lobster sauce. I was able to sample the bbq pork spare ribs and orange chicken. Both were tasty. For the most part, the food is good. There are some issues we have with the General Tso Chicken. Often the chicken is tough or overcooked. I wish the egg rolls had less pepper in them so the flavors of the vegetables are more prominent. Crab Rangoon and Dumplings are delicious. I see this place gets 4 stars, so maybe I just caught them on an off night. I had chicken lo mein and general tso's chicken. Both are dishes I judge a Chinese restaurant by. And I was definitely not impressed. The lo mein had literally zero flavor, and the general tso was just a pasty mess of chicken, overcooked broccoli, and a way too thick sauce. Also little flavor. However, and this is saying a LOT... they have hands down the best crab rangoon I have had. The flavor and crispiness and everything was 100% perfect. So. Maybe I can't judge the food based on an off night, I don't know. But I will now absolutely get a few orders of rangoon from them when I'm feeling kind of snackish. read more

We have been ordering from here for several months. It was serviceable Americanized Chinese food and the delivery was decent. Christmas Day I get a text that they are open and inviting us to order. We're watching A Christmas Story so sure - and pretty decent marketing if you think about it - everyone is watching TBS and thinking about Chinese food. The text came about 2PM. At 4PM we order - something simple. Our credit card is charged. We're told 45 min. At 6P I call and it is obviously a disaster but they refuse to speak to me... "A manager will call you back - please clear the line." A direct quote. Disastrous planning and customer service. I call again at 8P. Again, they will not speak to me. At 9:35P after we have the house settled and are in bed, their manager bomb calls us over and over. This morning the charge is reversed. No voice mail. No apology. We're done with this place. The rudeness was off the chain. Go someplace else if you can. Doing a text campaign and then not being prepared for the response with proper staffing is inexcusable and amateurish. read more

So the first time I stopped here it was just a quick pick to get some food so I wasn't really expecting a whole lot. Then I tried the fried wontons and fell in love. Next I tried the sweet and sour chicken combo and it was great. The Younger girl that works there is always so sweet and if I have a request on how I want my food cooked she always write down and make sure it's done that way. I have now tried the lo mein the chicken and broccoli the crab rangoons and the general tso's and I have not been let down with one dish. I have to say the fried wontons are my absolute favorite and they are hard to beat at any other Chinese restaurant. So if you are on 21st Street and Franklin I highly recommend it. from the outside it doesn't look like it would serve up a good dish like this but I come to find that most of the best restaurants that I've tried are little holes in the wall. read more

I will say the decor is basic "hole in the wall strip mall Chinese in the hood". It is not dirty, but it's run down. That is not being mean just truthful. I grew up celebrating my birthday at a Chinese restaurant in Maryland. Chicken cashew is my favorite dish and I will not eat at a Chinese restaurant that does not prepare it right!! Beijing makes chicken cashew like my childhood restaurant!! I love ordering from them and had Moo Goo Gai Pan for the first time with them and really enjoyed that too! This place is legit and deserves your attention. Fast service. Clean place to eat in if you want. Fast delivery.
