I stopped here for takeout one Friday evening. The combo dinners are great - you get an entree, fried rice and an egg roll, which most places don't automatically give you. The egg roll was five stars! I'd go back and just order several of those for dinner next time. Beef and broccoli was about the same as most of the other take out places I've had. Good flavor, they put carrots in it too, which I like. Really, the only downside to the dish was the rice. It wasn't bad, but it lacked a little flavor. Solid place for quick Chinese - recommended for carry out or delivery far more than dining in. Tables and chairs inside are decent for dining in if you have nowhere to go, but it clearly is a business intended to order over the phone and pick up on your way home or just have delivered directly. Service is aimed that way too, it seems - folks tended a bit more to the phone than me trying to decide what I wanted. Menu is pretty massive and you can get a wide variety of combinations. I was happy with my selection of orange chicken and vegetable lo mein, but it was super greasy so if you're not into that you may want to look elsewhere. (But I think you run that risk in any carry out oriented Chinese restaurant.) I'd definitely order here again for something quick while I'm out, but definitely would look into some other options if meeting up with anyone else unless we want something *very* low key. read more

Gross, ordered the general chos chicken, hot and sour soup and egg rolls and nothing was good besides the rice and that's the only thing that was edible. Entree was soggy and over breaded. Soup had no tast at all the the egg rolls tasted like old cabbage. Take a word of advice go to egg roll #1 in Greenwood. read more

DISGUSTING. What's going on with these chinese places lately? I switched to this one because the last place, meat was raw. The meat at THIS place is also so undercooked it's literally raw. I thought my bourbon chicken was SHRIMP it was so raw. So gross. Barely cooked the chicken at all and it just aggravates me. I've searched far and wide for a Chinese takeout place that can even start to compete with Ching Garden and I think it's impossible. My family and I have been coming here for over a decade and the quality of the food never waivers. The crab rangoons are super plump, the teriyaki chicken is perfectly cooked, the broccoli in my beef or chicken and broccoli is always tender but still crisp and never ever over sauced. The folks who work here too are consistently friendly as well and will help you find substitutions if you can't eat something in one of their meal sets. read more

Great food at great prices, the portions are enough to last a few days to boot! I'd only have to say that the delivery service for take out orders could be a bit better, I will get told 20-25 minutes but usually don't get my food for about 45 minutes to an hour, but it's all worth the wait and still don't have a problem giving the driver a good tip. They have a large variety on there menu so there is always something to match your appetite. Would gladly recommend to anyone having a craving for good Chinese food. read more

I LOVE this place. Do not be deceived that it sits in a plaza between a dry cleaner and a subway... I've never had a bad meal here in 12 years. I lived in greenwood for a few years and happened upon it because it was close to my house in center grove. Then I moved downtown and missed it so much I would actually drive down to get it on occasion. Then I moved to Bloomington....and now whenever I'm passing through I stop. The food is great, the prices are unbeatable and the people are SO NICE. Pro tip: $5 lunch specials until 3pm through the week. My favorite are the moo shu pork, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, and shrimp with garlic sauce. I prefer the white rice, but the fried rice is good as well. Also. You want the Crab Rangoon. Do it. In my experience, a maybe somewhat better than mediocre Chinese take out place. The service inside the restaurant has always been friendly, but I'm a little disappointed that they don't deliver to the southern half of Bargersville (south of 144) where there are many homes. The food quality used to be better several years ago. I wouldn't consider it one of the best. Not bad food by any stretch of the imagination, but if you want outstanding Chinese food, go to China Garden at Southport and Madison. It's worth the drive! read more

This food was very bland. Pepper steak with onion was just big chunks of raw onion with a few small pieces of meat. It was pretty much inedible. Wonton soup had no flavor and the wontons were mush. A cookie cutter, hole in the wall, Chinese restaurant. They're all the same. They all use the same menu printed in grean and red ink and just change the restaurant name at the top... No surprises, except when I walked in to get my order, the Chinese children sitting at a table (I'm assuming they're the owner's kids) weren't eating Chinese food but rather McDonalds.
