Ordered take out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was definitely hot and fresh. Lo Mein was a little oily and that was apparent in the taste. The same can be said of the vegetable fried rice. It tasted oily but it was hot and fresh. That was enough to bring the rating down to only four stars. The orange chicken was delicious. We will continue to order from this restaurant to taste the other dishes.

Lo mein (plain), kung pao chicken, beef & mixed vegetables, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable fried rice

Still my favorite Chinese takeout spot in BG! We always get the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and lo mein (pictured here without veggies). Today we also tried the kung pao chicken (delicious, a little spicy), the beef & mixed vegetables, and the spring roll. Order online or call ahead for fast pick-up. Have not dined in. Staff is really kind. Some indoor seating available. Our meal was ~$60 - more than enough for 4 people and lots of leftovers!!!

We just moved into town and wanted to try out local Chinese restaurants. The general Tso was really good. Fried rice was good and soft. Sweet and sour chicken was okay. Really good prices for lunch plates. We will be back!

Best Chinese takeout in BG. If you don't think so, well... you're just wrong I guess. Sorry.

Food is good and service is fairly quick and friendly. The prices have gone up considerably in the last year or two.

The General Tso's chicken and lo mein are the only two things I recommend here. Everything else has been insanely subpar.

Then a P5 Pho Dac Biet for the main. Both the appetizer and the main dish came out in a respectable time. Both delicious and temp hot! Atmosphere was clean in the dining room. A little dim. The restroom wasn't that great. But i came here for the food of course! Definitely will be back when i pass through Bowling green! -Cha Gia crispy spring roll. Came out piping hot and crispy! Perfect texture and perfectly seasoned. Sad part was it does not come with nuoc mam dipping sauce, but a generic sweet and sour sauce. Other that that, an A rating! -P5 Pho Dac Biet. Absolutely phenomenal bowl of pho! Broth was hot, not too sweet, and perfectly seasoned. Was quite surprised being that it's one of the only Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Came with the normal Veggies that go in Pho. Do not skip on the Pho! A+ bowl of pho! -Atmosphere. A little dim , restroom not that clean. Overall a B.

I want to start off by saying that the prices are very reasonable and the staff was nice. (I want…read moreto add that I had to ask for chopsticks for my pho). I was not "wow-ed" by anything, but it was a fine lunch. The pho is okay. The broth is on the sweeter side. The noodles came weirdly clumped, and I had to spend quite a bit getting them to be actual noodles and not a clump. The Thai basil served with it wasn't very good, nor were the bean sprouts. I did enjoy the meal as a whole. The restaurant itself is very dusty. There are faux plants located throughout that have a considerable amount of dust. Since there are many tiny leaves, it was visibly dusty and even had some cobwebs on it. I don't think I would come back here any time soon, but for what it is and for the price, it was good but could've been better.

In this usage, "good bad Chinese food" refers to a type of Chinese food that is not 5-star restaurant level fanciness, or necessarily the most authentic to traditional cuisine, but packs a great taste and great value. Unfortunately, my visit to Panda yielded what I can only refer to as "bad bad chinese food". Not only is the restaurant not remotely fancy, but the food is quite tasteless, and ultimately presents a bad value. Having lived in the Bay Area, and being new to Kentucky, I wasn't quite sure what to expect for its Asian food, but all of the Yelp reviews of Chinese restaurants that offered takeout in the area left me thinking that Panda was the best option. After experiencing Panda firsthand, I really really hope that there are better options in Bowling Green that I just happened to miss. The Chicken Fried Rice is 110% the most bland Chicken Fried Rice I've ever had in my life. If I was at home, I would have definitely taken what I recieved from this restaurant, and re-fried it, with some seasonings that actually add flavor. I am almost to the point where I'd say that I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't actually frying the rice, but just taking some steamed rice, adding chicken and food coloring, mixing it, and sending it out in nice little takeout boxes. If you are absolutely in a pinch and for some reason can't find other Chinese food, give Panda a shot, but I honestly cannot recommend this restaurant in any other situation.
