This restaurant has been here in Lancaster for a long time. What I like is the almond chicken it's really one of the best almond chicken I've had. The other foods are all right more Americanized. I order here at least once a month for dinner special. If you've done tried it give the almond chicken a try you might like it. read more

This has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant for over twenty years. Especially the Mooshu Chicken with its plum sauce. The lunch specials are also a treat. Especially Kung POW chicken! I'm not sure I spelled Mooshu right but that's the pronunciation. I have not seen this item on any other restaurant menu. The atmosphere has been the same for many years but it is clean and the service is good. I will keep going there and so glad it has survived for so many years read more

They have excellent egg too young. I am vegetarian and love Hot and Sour soup but they make theirs with meat broth. So have to go to Pasadena to my favorite Chinese restaurant where they make their with vegetable broth. read more

The service here was horrible. I placed a phone order they told me 15min, I waited 30 min. I ordered Kun Pao chicken with peanuts and it had no spice, it was only chicken and chunks of zucchini, the Mongolian beef did not taste nor did it look like Mongolian beef. My fried rice had only ONE pea in it. I mean WTH! I called and spoke to the manager and his customer service was ridiculous, he said no refunds and if that if I didn't like it, I can go to where ever I like the way they cook it. That's how they cook. McDonalds honors your orders way better and gives you customer satisfaction. Wow! DON'T EVER ORDER HERE. The only reason why they are getting ONE star is because the app requires me to put one star or I can't post my review. But in all honesty they deserve no stars. Yuck! read more

Very very bad food first and last to get food from here it's not worth the money it will upset your tummy no flavor no love or fresh

I'm giving it 3 stars because the service was great. Server was friendly and was very attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant isn't modern but it's very cozy hole in the wall type. The orange chicken was pretty good and the broccoli was okay however I'm not a huge fan of the soft beef. Just preference. The sauce was good and broccoli and as cooked perfectly. The fried rice tasted a lot like onion and the Chowmein was a miss for me. Had an odd aftertaste and lacked flavor . Portions are good size . I would come back for the orange chicken but probably just get steamed white rice. read more

So happy to report that the Great Wall is back! Food was great, looks spiffed up and the service was excellent.

I've been eating here for the last 40 years and they have never failed me yet. The wonton soup is always on point and the sweet and sour chicken is fantastic. The lunch menu is very reasonable at mostly $9.99 and that includes egg roll, fried wonton and choice of soup. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. read more

Honestly, I'd love to give zero stars. Came here YEARS ago before moving away and it was amazing. Recently moved back to the area and wanted to try it again. I've never been more dissatisfied and upset with a purchase than I was tonight. We ordered for takeout, and spent about $75.00. The portions they give for the price you pay is insulting. $12.00 for a portion that's about the size of your fist is pretty sad. Being over priced aside, the food just sucks. There is absolutely no flavor. The General Taos and Orange Chicken tasted identical. There was absolutely no spice to the General Taos chicken. None. Find somewhere else and don't waste your money like we did. 70 bucks down the drain. read more

I been a long time customer for a good 25 years and this was my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Antelope Valley. Yesterday we ordered online for pickup and spent around $100 for a meal which wasn't too bad since it was a lot of food. My favorite dish which is Lemon Chicken was horrible and uneatable. At first when opening the package I thought it was just over cooked by the looks of how dark the outside was. I was okay with that. But once I bit into it, the chicken was a hard like texture. Because of this, I came to the conclusion that this was cooked before and then they doubled cooked it and gave it too me. We couldn't even eat one bite how bad it was. If a restaurant is willing to serve something like this, then it speaks for how they handle the rest of the food. Sadly, I don't think I will ever eat here again which is especially sad because this was my favorite Chinese restaurant in this area. read more

Yesterday I went to Great Wall and ordered our usual sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, and chicken low mein. I also ordered extra pineapple for sweet and sour . Which they charged me for. When I got home I found 3 small pieces of pineapple in meal ( no extra). The chicken in both sweet and sour and orange chicken was so small of pieces (basically I think it was mainly the fried outer shell minus meat. It was hard, tasteless and even the sweet and sour sauce tasted bad. We have been eating here for years without complaints, I called them and was told a manager would get back to me, so I waited to give them a fair chance to make it right. I was willing to bring back the food (which was not edible) they never returned my call. So if they aren't even willing to correct my $35. Meal which we didn't eat, then what does that tell you about their customer service. Never again! read more

Food is really underwhelming. Shrimp has a weird aftertaste and so does anything with the shrimp dishes. Some of the items have a weird thing to them whether it's cold or dry and smothered a sauce. Could do a lot better than before. read more

The server was very sweet, but walking in the place looks exactly as it did when I was a little girl. The house noodles were hard to chew and gummy at the same time--they were stretchy and this made them hard to swallow. The flavors were all muddled together and it didn't seem fresh. read more

We have been going to Great Wall since the 90s. It's an affordable place, especially when you are treating a big group or holding a party. Our favorite items to order here are the house pan fried noodles, lemon chicken, beef tomatoes, and twice cooked pork. The service is great, the servers know their stuff and offer good recommendations. read more

They argued with me that I didn't put in an order so I left and then after them calling me 10 minutes later and then being extremely rude and try to apologize because the lady knew she was wrong. I politely told them to go F themselves after eating here for years and dealing with one incident where I ate part of a stainless steel brush pad and had to go to the doctors and kept quiet about it with them giving me a free meal.
