Great Western Tree Care started a 3 phase project for us today that includes dead tree removals, stump grindings and planting 4 new trees. Jill and Stephanie in the office were easy to work and communicate with, and they're happily accommodating our needed timing for the project's completion - we're trying to complete the job in time to host our son's graduation party outdoors. The removal crew, Morgan & Kyle, did an excellent job removing the dead trees, and were very helpful in setting aside the branches I wanted to preserve. The process couldn't have been any smoother, and they did an excellent job caring for my backyard space by thoroughly cleaning up all the debris. They were courteous and professional, and I greatly appreciated their service! I will post another review at the time of the project's completion in a couple weeks. I tell ya...these guys are the best. These trees are large. One is a Silver Maple and it's beautiful but it's huge now and a hazard in a storm and a late winter storm had extensively damaged it and some of the other trees. I didn't want them removed but damage and height removed; like...a LOT. I watched the workmen. They were way up in there. I have one of those neighbors behind me and they were watching too. One of the guys went over the fence to make sure nothing was left in their yard because the neighbor is a pill. Well... Anyway, they came in under the price of most and did an awesome job - and had a huge wood chipper - and were much better than previous tree trimmers we've used and cleaned up all the mess and I highly recommend them! read more

When searching for a good Arborist I was terribly concerned having heard so many horror stories. These guys are absolutely amazing!! They did an outstanding job, were professional and were very nice. I'm a super strong advocate of customer service and these guys nail it! I would be happy to pass them on to anyone who's looking for a professional and reasonable tree care service! We had a drying Silver Maple tree and had three estimates. Great Western Tree service was the best price AND the quality of work, kindness and excellence was by far the TOP!! It was a difficult tree to take down, going over the house. The crew worked until all the branches and leaves were up. A great, professional job, all around. Then, a month later, we had another tree in trouble and Chad came out to assess it, giving us excellent information without trying to sell anything, he did this at no charge. When a large aspen in my yard died, Great Western gave a very reasonable quote for its removal. Morgan, Chris, and Nathan showed up earlier than expected on the scheduled day, were very friendly and courteous, and completed the work quickly and without any issues. They even threw in taking another small stump (apple tree that blew over in a wind storm) down to ground level.
