She forgot to use any lubricants, did not focus at all on any of the points I had circled on my assessment paperwork, and ended up bruising my lower head, neck and shoulder areas. Meh. Bought a groupon because it was rated one of the best. Easy to book an appt, decent customer service. The groupon price is actually the same price it lists on the door, flyer and inside the building (so you're not really saving any money, which is kinda lame. Contrary to what the website says). Massage was sub par - no pressure, even though I asked for more pressure multiple times. Not as much foot reflexology as I would like, more gentle strokes all over. Which is strange since this is a reflexology place. I've been to many foot massage places and this is one of my least favorites. No english speaking, as expected but still the lack of communication was hard. I needed to break a 20 for my tip, and the gal at front didn't seem to happy to do so, she was clearly frustrated with me and finally went into her own wallet to give me the smaller bills. I felt completely disrespected while she did this (in front of the man who had done my massage. I tipped and left. Also they suggest 30-50% tip. I understand this is how they make their money, but that is laughable - for both the service and to have a giant sign with that in the front. Also - the groupon was 70 min. My appt was at 4:00. I really enjoyed going to the Sachse location next to my house, and I ended up getting a gift certificate to the Plano location and after waking up to a sore upper back due to a bad nights sleep I went to cash it in. First off, it looks really nice inside and the couch/table thingy they used for the massage was so comfortable I almost feel asleep while I was getting my rubdown. They start out by soaking your feet while massaging your scalp and temples. As a side note I will add one small warning... since they massage your scalp don't put too much of your time in fixing your hair and if you plan on going out afterwards bring some hair gel or a comb or whatever. Then they work on your arms and shoulders, take your feet out of the soak and work on your legs, then have you flip over on your stomach to work on the back of the legs and end by massaging your back. $30 for a 70 minute massage is a fantastic deal, so if you have some spare money and an afternoon to kill go get a massage, walk over to Super H Mart and get some Korean food or a pastry, and be in pure bliss all day. read more

What a beautiful place! People here are so friendly and professional! I don't care what other people said, but I think this is the best place in Plano area! Or maybe the whole DFW area! First, I love the environment. They have the most beautiful waiting area. Unlike some place else, I can tell they spent a lot of time and money to build a such wonderful store. However, they still have their coupon on Groupon but fail to state that they will only accept Groupon on Tuesday now which is misleading. Refunded the Groupon and will not return. I came to foot palace with my boyfriend about a month ago. I wasn't going to write a yelp review but the massage still haunts me to this day so I figured this will help me to move on mentally from the terrible experience we had. We didn't have an appointment but were able to get a massage room with 2 beds upon arriving. My bf had a girl masseuse and I had an older, bald guy in cargo shorts and a bright red T-shirt and flip flops as my masseuse. His attire made me feel as if he just came in off the street and decided to rub on some people for the night. The massage started with the guy intensely scratching the top of my head for about 5 minutes and then he proceeded to randomly rub my neck and shoulders, non of which felt good, in fact it was borderline uncomfortable. And it got worse from there. The masseuse had his headphones in, listening to loud music from his iPhone while "massaging" and kept yelling something to the girl massaging my boyfriend in thai or vietnamese. It was very annoying and it seemed as if he was angry. He then proceeded to massage my feet. I felt as though I was a prisoner getting tortured as he dug his knuckles into the soles of my feet over and over again. I thought maybe the pain is part of some reflexology technique, you know, no pain no gain, but as he continued the process I knew this was not the way it was supposed to feel. Thank God he paused to change the song on his phone, it gave me a chance to make sure my feet were still alive. He then rubbed my butt a lot when I laid on my stomach and mounted me to end the ordeal. THE WORST MASSAGE EVERRRRR. Just wanted to post this so no one ever goes through what I went through. The worst massage place i' ve ever been to. I have been to all the foot spas in the Dallas area and this is by far the worst massage place have been to. My right arm and shoulder was hurting so I went on Yelp to search for a new massage close to our home and the reviews was excellent so I booked for a full body massage. Sachs was booked so we had to go to Plano but I am so glad we did. Leo & Helen were EXCELLENT! I've had massages at luxury spas and this was by far the most relaxing yet thorough massage I've experienced, not to mention the price point is unbeatable! It was very easy to make an appointment on a weekend. I bought a Groupon only to find that they're advertising the same price at the business. They have a sign up front recommending a 30-50% tip. I suppose the massage itself is so cheap that a 15% tip wouldn't be much for the workers. The masseuses don't speak the best English, but there's always a fully fluent English speaker up front, so you can probably communicate your preferences / needs to that person and have them translate for your masseuse. My masseuse did a good job -- she was a little soft where I prefer hard massages, so I asked her to adjust and she did. She had a professional touch. I really enjoyed the foot massage. The scalp massage could have been a little harder. The back massage could have been a little longer (but can't it always?). But all in all, great massage, and I walked out of there so relaxed and groggy that I wasn't sure at first that I was going to be able to drive without crashing the car. The one thing I really disliked was that they had a huge TV screen on silent, showing Chinese TV. Even with a towel over my face, I kept jumping when the screen would change suddenly to striking brightness. It kept me from fully relaxing. I'm not sure who it's there for -- it was talk TV with no subtitles, so it didn't seem like anyone, not even the workers, would enjoy it. When I flipped over I couldn't see it anymore. Once I brought my wife in then they said it will be a 10 minute massage. 15 minutes later than they had one opening instead of two. Already investing 15 minutes we agreed and I was told 10 minutes longer for my turn. 35 minutes later they finally said it was my turn, at this point my wifes massage was already half way over. After telling them I cant do it at this point as we didnt have all day they offered to do a 30 minute massage vs the original 70 minute for only $10 less. I said this is less than half the time it should be half price not $10 less. As i was waiting for my wife to finish I listened to the front desk girl lie to 2 different customers saying they were available for immediate massage when I knew no one was available. My first Chinese massage experience and probably my last. I've been getting deep-tissue massages for years (and had just had one on Sunday) but my sister was coming in from out of town and they had a Groupon special for a 70 minute long "foot reflexology massage". Not knowing exactly what to expect left us fairly open minded but once I had I a 140 pound man kneeling on my back with his entire body weight on my rib cage, I knew that this was probably not the technique for me. My sister and I both feel very bruised and sore today, and while she says her neck no longer hurts, I think I will just stick with a traditional Western deep tissue massage from here on out. Good location in east Plano, great deal on Groupon. Just wish they had a simple FOOT ONLY deal for 30 minutes or something.
