His review was so messed up, again, probably intentionally, he said that one of my sinks leaked and needed reattaching when in actuality, 2 needed reattaching and the leakage issue was not a pipe underneath the sink. it was from the upstairs bathroom, the one with the mold behind the tile. The extra things Rodney found were a leaky hose bib when the water was turned on (I don't think the original inspector was incompetent or anything but it is surprising it wasn't listed) and the light-beam detectors on the garage door being installed too high. The latter is important to us because we have a Papillon that might get squashed by the garage door because she can walk/run under the light beam sensor thing which should otherwise cause the garage door to stop closing (preventing our pup from getting squashed.) Z-Home Inspections is highly recommended. They are well regarded on the Better Business Bureau site as well (which is where my wife came across the business.) He used a drone to inspect the roofing thoroughly. He crawled into the crawlspace below the house and reported some rodent activity (good to know about so we can hire someone to ensure vents are appropriately screened off to prevent future visitors.) Rodney was even kind enough to let me tag along for the inspection and I learned quite a bit from him about an attic, how it's supposed to be cooled (vents shouldn't be blocked by blown insulation) and how to reassure oneself that vent from bath fans and what-not are appropriately routed to the outside to prevent moisture-related issues in the attic. I learned a lot and that is one facet of why Z-Home Inspections was such a great value (peace of mind, very competitive rates, as well.)
