She is just the nicest, kindest person ever. Stacey, advised me to go to the urgent care center when I couldn't get in to see an orthopedic doctor before the weekend. She even helped me find a good one. Then, when an appointment opened up, she called me and booked the appointment for me at Ortho Bethesda. Stacey, you are an angel. I went to see Dr. Gazdag and he was wonderful. He was funny and an excellent professional. We took more X-rays, so if you see a light in Rockville, it is just me glowing at night. I am in a boot and a cane, but no surgery needed. Amen! The people who work with Dr. Gazdag and Ortho Bethesda were awesome. They were very nice and helpful. I got great care and I have respect for the office. And, thank you, Stacey for making sure I was taken care of.

The…read morestaff uses a lot of trainees who are randomly called on during your session with the actual PT who seems to have several clients at one time and can't focus on you . The aides seem incompetent and often don't know what your warmup routine is or what you're there for, as if the information is not updated for your visit. Also, some of the therapists seem over aggressive in their treatments, and as an older patient I don't and can't do heavy weights and frankly I got worse going to my sessions. They also leave you unsupervised for gaps of time where no one can correct your form or take your heavy weight from you. The therapists also are always having in depth conversations about sports, their weekends, their lives, their pets, as they 'work' on you and seem unfocused and careless about their jobs. The front desk staff is also rude and disrespectful at times and there is always a backlog of patients waiting to be checked in! I came here because it's close to my house and i have used a doctor from this practice for years but I've now found other options for my treatment and PT!

I have regular issues with my lower back and my neck (due to past hernias) and Dr. Taylor did an excellent job at making me feel better. He also helps me with huge muscular issues after the loss of my wife. He really listen to the patient and never tries to make you come back every week if it's not necessary. Even though I'm really better, I still go and get regular adjustments and I feel great! The office staff is really efficient, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Taylor to anyone!

I originally called this practice because I had heard they offered a more comfortable open bore MRI experience, but when I asked the scheduler about it she told me that only closed was offered. I told her that the website mentioned it, she then responded that told me she wasn't aware of that. Hmm. Odd. Maybe I need to speak with someone else then? But for now let me just get on the books, I thought. Well, that's when the frustration continued because I found myself repeating basic information over and over and over again. I got to the point where I would intentionally add more pauses when repeating the information, the scheduler would repeat back the information to me...but then moments later would ask me to repeat the same information again. Is this how everyone at the clinic will be? Not listening the first or second time, therefore requiring me, the patient, to constantly repeat myself when it comes to an already uncomfortable experience? It didn't inspire confidence in me, that's for sure. They also talked very low, like they were shy -- I had to ask them to speak louder several times, then they would barely increase the volume. Think just a hair above whisper-soft instead of average tone. The low end of the volume dial on an old radio instead of right in the middle. Now that I'm reading the other reviews here about how their appointments went...I feel like I might have been better off just sticking with the Radiology clinic I normally go to instead of trying a different one. I'd recommend that the clinic train its support staff and coach them on professionalism, as they are often the first-line impression and can sometimes make or break an experience for the patient. Have them speak confidently and in a steady tone (not above a whisper). Teach them active listening skills, ensure that they have decent reasoning skills (the scheduler got my address confused for the doctor's address -- although the MRI order clearly noted which was which). Furthermore, have them versed on what is offered and what isn't. I had to explain to the scheduler what I meant with "wide-open bore MRI" although that's exactly how it was described on the website. Shouldn't they be familiar with that and able to talk to it when a patient asks about it? I'll more than likely go back to my old clinic, at least I know what to expect with them and they've been pretty consistent with their service over the years.

In my experience, the combination of a very competent doctor with being finely atuned to the human aspect of things is a rare thing to find. My son is the kind of person that needs to know what is happening every step of the way, and Dr Fitzgibbons not only welcomed his questions (even in after hours), but also gave praise for his curiosity. Also, the post-op included a lot of difficulty handling pain, finding the right perscription, and getting it filled through insurance... And he was very solicitous and available to help with that very circuitous process too!

My life is better for it. I recommend everyone with any physical discomfort or problems at all to see her once and just see what happens. I came here and was surprised by the "average" review because Agnes is definitely the best PT I've ever seen. She's a manual PT, meaning she will put your alignment back in place and get the knots out. I started seeing her through word of mouth, so I never found her online. She fixes your shit and has a real knack for figuring things out. If you don't have poor habits your problem can be fixed in one session. The habits can take longer to correct, but she identified what I needed to do to fix my discomfort and pain throughout my body. It takes genuine work and effort sometimes, but her methods are more concrete and make more sense than other PTs I've gone to. Other PTs have come close, but never fixed my alignment in the session and did not give me a vision. I was regularly discouraged. I'm 27 and other practitioners were surprised how much discomfort I was in, considering I'm so young, but Agnes knew immediately that I was doing certain things to create the muscle weaknesses I had and was able to tell me about them. I went to chiropractic care for years with minimal to 0 change. I know it's a personal journey figuring out what you and your body needs to feel it's best, but I think everyone should try Agnes first.

I would feel confident if I ever had to return to the hands of Mike, Agnes, or Doug. Their supporting team members are friendly and keen on attending to your comfort (pillows, blanket, water); shout-outs to the awesomeness of Greg, Lori, and interns Gordon and Clark! I was only ever in as much pain as needed for progress, and my endless well of healing questions was fielded with deftness. I sincerely doubt my range of motion would have improved further elsewhere.
