There were two entrances to get into the parking lot and once you are parked, the building is right there. The entrance to the building faces Observation Drive. Once parked, enter building 20410, walk up the stairs, go right and WRA will be the 2nd entrance on your right (glass doors). Enter, check in and have a seat. The employees I interacted with were very pleasant, especially the lady at the front desk. Had a great conversation. Once your name is called, you will get the opportunity to check your items into a wooden locker (you are in charge of the key during your appointment). As you check out and retrieve your items, you then just leave the key on the outside of the locker (how you saw it before accessing it). There is signage providing where to dispose of your gown after your appointment. This location has been opened for a year (shared by one of the employees) and just based on service, experience, and location, I will definitely be back for sure.

Dr. A. took a cursory history, examined my partner's heart clothed (can't hear heart sounds or soft murmurs or clicks that way), held her chin in her hand while talking, didn't understand the seriousness of my partner's arrhthymia, and didn't order the tests she needed with any sense of purpose. She had seen a knowledgable and responsive cardiologist in VA urgently a few days earlier, and we had been looking forward to this visit, with a well-trained cardiologist, 10 min from home in MD. But after the visit with Dr. A, she decided to forgo convenience and make the multiple trips to Alexandria to get her heart evaluated. One test already done, another next week, ... Sometimes the real-world experience doesn't match the resume.

Unfortunately, about a month later I was diagnosed with cancer when my symptoms got worse. I did not have any expectations that this was the same as a diagnostic CT and my cancer was not a solid tumor type so I was not surprised nothing was found on the Virtual Physical. However, when deciding on whether to spend such a large amount of money, people should know that this type of scan won't catch certain physical problems.

I left the facility at around 8:40 am and got a text at 9:10 am that the results were on my portal. Is every experience going to be this quick and smooth? Of course, a lot depends on how busy the facility is, the nature of the test (my test only took 10 minutes) and the availability of a radiologist to read the results and write a report. But that was my experience today, and, based on that, I highly recommend this facility.

I called her office early in the morning and was told she would call me back. By 2pm I was desperate and went to her office and asked the receptionist if I could speak to the doctor when she had time. I was there about an hour, she saw several patients. After the last patient went into her office she came out and said she was too busy to speak to me and that I should go to urgent care. I will never go back to her again. It would have taken her maybe 5 minutes to tell me what to do but she was "too busy."
