This review is for a chicken pita and Greek potatoes that I last had at this Grecian Gyros location. They have several in the Atlanta metro area. This was yet another solid eating experience at this fast food restaurant. I was glad to see that the service is still on point and the dining room is kept in very good shape such that it's better to eat in than take your order to go. Some of the best things in life are found when you're not looking. That's what happened when I first discovered this Grecian Gyros location - over 8 years ago. I'm glad it's still here. Not only that, painting up your business in the colors of the Greek flag is bound to have some marketing value ... it makes you want to drop in if driving along and you like Greek food. In fact, if transiting between Stone Mountain's unique outcropping and park and Atlanta through its east side, you could very easily be coming through here if not using 78 or wanting to shop or run some errands. When I used to live near the airport I visited Grecian Gyro's original location (Hapeville). This place is similar, but not as good as I remember the other location. Regardless, Grecian Gyro is still awesome, though their prices have gone way up. After taxes, a gyro with potatoes, pita, and a small salad will run you close to $20 (plate), and a solo Gyro around $10. , If you love Greek food or just want to try something different than I would highly recommend checking this place out. We've eaten here on several occasions, it's actually in our monthly rotation. However, as of the lately, the customer service is poor. We pulled up to the drive though today and were never acknowledge. No cars were in the parking lot at all. And only one other car in the drive- through at the window. We sat waiting for 10-12 minutes without anyone getting our order or even acknowledging our presence. Same thing happened 2 weeks ago, the same attitude. It has been a female(black) on both occasions. We left then as well and plan to take this location out of our rotation. There appears to be a serious attitude problem at this location. And attitudes are everything, they can make or break a business. read more

We made a spontaneous decision to stop by here for lunch. When we went in there was no one, but within 10 minutes half the restaurant was getting packed We happened to come at the perfect time. While the restaurant was empty, the owner gave us a sample of the potatoes with their creamy sauce which was delicious. The staff were very patient and explained what everything was and the words that were difficult to pronounce....which I very much appreciate. The menu is quite simple. They have plates and wraps made of the same ingredients but in different formats. We both chose bowls that were filled with meat, pita bread, potatoes, salad, and three sauces. The food came out quite fast. They actually missed one item (spanakopita), but they gave it to us quickly after we told them about it. The meal felt very balanced and was so flavorful. The fresh salad balanced out the tender, savory meat. The potatoes were just as we sampled... perfectly cooked and tasted amazing with the sauce. The pita bread was warm and soft. I love the casual environment of this restaurant. It's definitely a good place to catch up with friends or to grab a quick bite. The prices are reasonable as well. I fell in love with Grecian Gyro at the College Park location. The same tradition of tastiness carries over to this Tucker location. I had a souvlaki gyro and it just made my night. I can't remember what my wife had, but it was gone before mine was. Another friend had the falafel and paid it some compliments. (And this is a woman who knows her Greek, be assured.) Service was quick, staff made some good recommendations, and the place was relatively quiet. I tried the ice cream thing they serve here. IMO, don't waste your time with this. Yoooooo. My wife told me about this place and asked me what I wanted. Well, I got the steak gyro. To say that it was fresh is an understatement, the potatoes that came with the combo were an extra added bonus. The pita was soft and just as delicious as the filling. The one thing that I feel they should do (this is just my opinion) add the sauce that come with the potatoes to the gyro. OMG, I discovered this by accident and I kept dipping my gyro in the sauce. The food was a 10/10!! I usually don't eat Mediterranean food, but this surpassed my expectations! I had the Gyro, strawberry milkshake, and a side of potatoes. I just had a really great Uber Eats order from here the other night. I tried the Spanakopita, Grecian Beef Gyro Plate, and a side order of Hummus. Everything was delivered in good condition and wrapped well. Everything was also accurate in my order and they remembered my request for extra sauce. I think everything was portioned pretty generously and the quality was worth the price paid. I love spanakopita and don't get it often, so it was a treat. It was nice and flaky with ample filling. The gyro plate was perfect also with a hearty portion of everything. I liked that it came with a Greek style salad instead of rice, making it a lighter and healthier option. The potatoes and meat were seasoned perfectly, and the white Grecian sauce (I believe it was regular Tzatziki) was an excellent complement to the meal. The hummus was also wonderful with the pita bread which was nice and soft. Everything I ordered I would get again. Good tastes! I got the side plate with Greek salad, dolmades, and hummus with pita. The salad tasted fresh. The hummus and pita were decent. I prefer my dolmades/grape leaves to have a stronger flavor, and while a little too lemony for my taste, they still got the job done! Overall, I enjoyed my meal! read more

Grecian Gyro's gyro's are the best. Their sauce is better than most typical tzatziki sauce unique to them. Always prompt service.

I live near the Tucker Grecian Gyro restaurant and it is very convenient for me to grab a quick bit for lunch. I usually order the Gyro wrap with steak and no onions. Once in a while they forget to leave off the onions. Normally this wouldn't be that big of a deal except I am basically allergic to uncooked onions. I must say the wraps are stuffed with delicious meat. I have ordered the potatoes a couple of times but I never finish them as they get cold quickly, and I think they lack a bit in the taste. Everything else on the menu is very good. I recommend this location if you haven't tried it yet. read more

I stopped this restaurant today for a veggie wrap and added feta. Welp unbeknownst to be me the wrap consisted of cold tomato, lettuce and raw onion. I wanted warm veggies so I called the restaurant back. The guy informed me that it was cold and if I wanted cooked veggies it would be additional per veggie. The potatoes weren't even fresh. Mmmm, deliciousness! I've driven by this place a million times but finally stopped in with a friend! Everything was delicious, and I got to sample a lot between myself, my friend, and our kids. By the way, check out the small "kid friendly" menu on the counter if you've got picky eaters. I had the gyro, of course. Tasty meat in a warm pita. The tzatziki sauce was delicious, and definitely get the potatoes. We tried the hummus which was like a roasted red pepper flavor and it was smooth and satisfying. The kids "chicken nuggets" were just chunks of grilled, marinated chicken but they were good on their own. The food is so good, but I think my favorite part was the milkshakes! I promised the kiddos milkshakes if they ate a good portion of their lunches, and of course mama gets to share it! Creamy and delicious! Grab a baklava and you're set to go! My only small gripe is the dining room gets very cramped when they're busy.
